One of worst store policies and customer service you can deal with. I wish I could give 0 stars. I went in today because my phone keeps lagging and freezing to the point were I have to take out the battery. I was pointed to Mo who tried everything I did but still the same issue. Then I was told to go through my insurance and pay 150 to get the phone replaced or Verizon can do it but they will charge 450 since there are some dings on the conner of the phone. There is not a single Crack or dead pixel on the screen. Mo said it was a software issues clearly. He talked to his manager who came out said the samething. I guess Verizon doesn't back the products they sell or correct an issues with a product they sell. I told the manager I was better off going back to Sprint. He said go right ahead and walked away. I went in to this Verizon to look at phones and decided since i was there to go ahead and have them switch my phone to an older phone that Ive had. Mateo was there and i must say he was the RUDEST person Ive ever spoke to. He had a horrible attitude. I wish I could give this Verizon store a zero. The customer service is horrible. They literally laugh in your face when you expect value for your dollar and products that work. I spend $450 / month with Verizon, but my experience with this store makes me want to switch to the competition. They would not take a return on a $130 speaker because it was beyond the 14 day return policy. Yes it was 26 days later because I was on vacation and did not have the chance to return it. So, you are willing to give up $450 / month because of a $130 item. I don't think this is a very good business decision. Wouldn't you want to stand behind your products, especially when you are protecting a $450 / month income stream? I will try out the store near Hacienda in Dublin now. I will not be returning to the store in Livermore for any reason. read more

Extremely unhappy with this store and the store manager. I placed an order online for 2 new phones for store pick up on a Wednesday around 1pm and by the evening I hadn't received any notification that my order was ready so I called the store. They said they were working on it and I would receive an email when it was ready, my response was "ok I just wanted to make sure, I will be picking it up tomorrow so just wanted to make sure it will be ready" and the person on the phone said "yes". The following day (Thursday) I walked in the store around 1pm despite still not having received an email and asked them about it. At that point the store manager comes out saying something about how it shouldn't have let me do store pickup and they don't have the sim card and yaddi yaddi. I didn't buy a new sim card, I bought 2 new phones and explained this. After some confusion they said that they were having some issue with their system and it wasn't letting them process my order. The woman who proceeded to help me did try to be helpful and I appreciate her effort, but she also provided me misinformation that created further headache. I could only come back by the store the next morning at opening at 10am because I had appointments to be at the rest of the day so she told me to come by and she would have the order ready for me as she explained it took 2 days for the order to auto cancel in their system and they would just do an in store upgrade. She also told me they had the same deal in store as I had received online. Come Friday morning I was sitting in my car in the parking lot waiting for them to open and received a text from her that my order hadn't cancelled yet and she couldn't do anything further and to call customer service and see if they could do something. I proceeded to call customer service on my way to my first appointment and was told by customer service they were wrong for directing me to them because the issue was on the store end they couldn't do anything on their end, she also explained it takes 3 days for the order to auto cancel not 2 like the woman in store told me. The phone rep called the store and spoke to the store manager to give him some solutions to try to fix the issue they were having so they could process my order. She then got back on the line with me and told me that the store manager would be following up with me. I never heard from the store manager that day. Saturday morning at just before 10am I received an email that my order was ready for pickup, great they fixed the issue. I planned to stop by when I was done taking care of my 2 clients that afternoon at work. But just 2.5 hours later I received an email that my order had been cancelled due to not being picked up because their system only gives you 3 days from the time the order was place to pick it up, not 3 days from the time it was processed and ready to be picked up. So after work I went by the store yet again, another girl helped me this time and was entirely unapologetic. She went back to talk to the store manager to ask about my order but not once did he come out to talk to me about my order despite him telling the phone rep he would follow up with me. His response to the girl was "well i processed it this morning" and that's what she relayed to me. I asked her if I placed the order online again right there while in the store if they would be able to give me my order... she made no guarantees. Still not apologetic in the slightest, and she informed me they do not have the same deal in store and the phones would cost me more if I did the upgrade in store. I stepped away to see if I could re-order my phones online and found that it hadn't dropped off of my account yet so I could not do the upgrade yet. I had to call customer service and despite their desperate attempts they were not able to get the upgrade off my account so I could replace the order at that time and states the store should have had the ability to rectify it in store. As a result the phone rep gave me $50 off my account and told me I had to wait for my refund to come through and for it to fall off my account and then try again. Thankfully late that night my refund came through paypal and it dropped off of my account. I was able to reorder my phones and placed them for pick up at another store location, the following day I was able to go pick up my order with absolutely not problem and with great service to go with it. My major issue here, why was I given false information about how long it takes for the order to auto cancel? the in store deal being the same as online deal when it wasn't? And why the hell didn't the store manager contact technical support the moment he realized their system was giving an error when trying to process my order. Instead he shrugged it off and sat on it until it was too damn late and put me through a hassle of 3 different stops at their store, no apologies and no follow up! read more

The customer service and phone plans are terrible. Their prices are ridiculous for LIMITED data. $200 a month for one phone! The coverage is not any different from Sprint (please see my review). After my long wait, I was hurried and was not explained any information from a dull sales rep while another sales rep tried to sell me every accessory in the store. I returned my phone within the seven days I had it due to data issues. They sales rep was not happy with my decision to return and cancel service judging by his attitude. With my naive hope to possible stay with Verizon, he could not explain or resolve the issues I had. Verizon is a waste of time and money. read more

I was just at this Verizon to see about getting my new Moto-X cell phone fixed. It keeps disconnecting itself from the car Bluetooth. Three times in an hour and a half drive, the phone, by itself, turned its Bluetooth off! My last Motorola phone was not a problem with this same car.. Can Verizon fix it? No, they tell me I have to install an app that can then take over my phone remotely and then I can fix it myself. NOT happy, why would I want to have an app on my phone that can remotely take it over? Why can't Verizon techs fix it at the store I purchased it? ANSWER: At Verizon, prices keep going up, and service keeps going down!!! read more

I went in to the store a week ago to purchase an upgraded phone for my daughter. I asked how much for the phone, they gave me a price plus tax. My son purchased the same phone a month prior, so I figured it would cost about $300. Well they never asked me of I wanted to switch anything. I wanted to purchase the phone and be on the 2 year contract as I have been doing for the past 10 years. They took my 308.00 payment . $200.00 was cash then $108.00 by credit card. Gave me my bag and off I was. A week later I am getting charged for the Edge program and they don't show my cash payment.... Problem got resolved. It was a mis communication. The cash receipt didn't print and was not showing on my account. I wish having a phone was not so expensive. Uugg. read more

Went to this location with my wife to get her phone fixed. Walking into the store the first pair of staff were not friendly, didn't properly greet us, just immediately sent us to another employee named Al. He was extremely rude didn't want to help fix my wife's phone he quickly looked at her phone and gave us the option to up grade at an additional cost. I have gone in multiple times to this store as this has been my carrier for the past couple years, however this time I was so fed up I wanted to share. First off I went in with my mom to upgrade her phone because she hates going alone because they throw a million things her way and she gets lost. We went on a Sunday afternoon and waited over an hour. Meanwhile the people that were with agents were taking their sweet time chatting. You would think when there was a wait time of over an hour the agents would have more of a sense of urgency. Then when we were finally helped by a "manager" named DJ he was so unprofessional and so rude. He asked if my mom wanted to pay the $230 to upgrade or add $7 to our monthly bill to pay it off over a chunk of time. My mom and I both agreed to pay in full now so that we didn't have more charges on our already expensive monthly bill. DJ repeatedly asked why we didn't want to add to the monthly bill. He said it would be cheaper. We probably each told him twice that we wanted to pay it in full and get it over with. His response was to laugh and say "you want to pay more? Okay" followed by more laughing. I finally said this is what we want, stop asking. Also, while he was trying to put the case on her new phone he couldn't get it on and joked about one time when he was putting a case on someones new phone he dropped it and shattered it. We weren't amused. Then we mentioned to him that we wanted to sell her iPhone 4s back for money, so that we could make the price go down. Well he forgot. When I asked him AGAIN about selling it back he said it was too late but he could still take it and take money off our next monthly bill. Then to top it off he forgot to give my mom a receipt or mention that it was going to be emailed. For a "manager" he was extremely rude. My mom left irritated and me even more so, because this was a birthday present for her. read more

Talk to Bill! He's fantastic! I hope his manager sees this, because I haven't had time to call. I can't say enough how impressed I was. My google voice command had stopped working and I had spent hours trying to figure it out. I took it to another store before this and that was a nightmare. I google the problem and found no answers. I even spent a lot of time on the phone with Verizon Helpline. I walked into this Verizon on Las Positas Rd. in Livermore and someone helped me right away. When he was unsure of the problem, he asked Bill. Bill took a look at it and literally within seconds he had it fixed. But that wasn't all, I joked that my blue tooth wasn't pairing to my car ever since this happen. I wasn't expecting him to walk out to my car with me and again, within seconds, done! So, go see Bill! After visiting the Verizon Store in Livermore and talking to a nice woman name Marcella (I hope that it is spelled right?), who took her time to work with me and go over my bill and discuss plans that was allowed me to be able to keep all of my lines and ultimately lower my bill by over $200.00 a month. read more

Been to the store twice today, poor service! First time at 10 am and no service ,I left. Second time at noon the girl behind counter said I'll be right with you. After ten minutes of watching her cut up coupons and laugh with her coworker I left. This store never use to be like this. Been in & out of this store multiple times over the past couple of months for tech support - nice store, friendly staff, but be prepared to camp out for awhile. (Whether to talk to someone or just make a purchase,) The weekends or after work hours are the worst, & I've waited for upwards of an hour. Poor customer service at this store is the reason for my rating of one star. We ordered our phone on 12/17/11 in store. James informed us that the iphone 4 with 16 GB memory will be in by 12/22 just before Christmas vs. the 32 GB which won't be in for another 3 weeks or more. We chose the 16GB due to earlier delivery date. Since we did not want any problems with home delivery, we requested store delivery. On the afternoon of 12/22/11 we stopped by to see if the phone was ready to pickup. At this time James and the manager, Gary Larsen informed us due to poor service delivery from FedEx the phone has not arrived and will not be in until 12/28 (after Christmas). On the 28th we picked up the phone after standing around for some time when no one was willing to help us. Kayla who works at the store notified us that the pictures on the original phone will not be transferred to the new phone even though James the original sales clerk guaranteed us it would not be an issue and they have the capability to take care of the transfer. This store is not busy most of the time, but still the staff are unable to deliver a professional, prompt service. The sales clerk guarantees anything and makes promises verbally that Verizon cannot and will not deliver. I could have ordered the phone from home just as I have done previously without any problems. read more

After a horrible day of being pushed around by jerks at the CostCo Verizon kiosk, Danielle was a God send! She was so attentive and helpful. We called while we were at CostCo and she told us to head over, she had both phones ready for us and helped us as soon as we got there. Should have gone there in the first place! Some of the worst customer service on every level at this store. A salesman ran our info without any consent from us. After this happened we could not purchase our phone from a different location. This is because even though we were clear about not buying the day of our visit they started an application anyway. Then when we went to purchase from a separate authorized Verizon dealer (Target). It flagged our application as fraud do to the fact that now two applications were in their system. This was the direct fault of one of this locations salesmen. We wasted an hour in Target just to leave without our preordered iPhone 6s Plus! Now they are back ordered until November! I am very upset about this unethical way of capturing and using consumer information. When I spoke to the Manager of this location he only provided circles of apologies and no real solution to get the now lost preorder. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I just left the store after waiting a half an hour for them to put a screen protector on my phone. And it still was not done. The straw that broke the camels back was I saw them decide to skip over my place in line to help a customer who had just walked in the door and hadn't been waiting a half an hour like I had. To me that is not cool at all. That is why I am writing this review about them. While I don't like having to wait a half an hour to get a screen protector on my phone I can understand if I have to wait my turn but the moment they took somebody who would just walked in the door before me was the moment that I got pissed. The employees tried to help us but unfortunately they all seemed like they were high. They made my boyfriend and I feel highly uncomfortable. I explained how my phone was broken and they could not even understand that the phone in my hand was connected to my phone number. Meanwhile the guy helping us was biting his finger nails and cuticles the whole time. After having all 3 employees answer personal phone calls with "hey dude" we were done and apologized for taking their time and left. I will not be going to this store ever again. read more

i have had verizon for 10 years, wow that must mean they have good service. i went to the store yesterday to get a new phone, they have a huge selection, and i found my new phone, i played with it all night, and i am very happy with my choice. the sales people were very helpful and they had alot of info about every phone to share. the only thing is if you ever go there when they are really busy you are gonna have to wait a while for a sales rep to help you. i am happy with the phones and service, so i have never had to change companies. read more

Employees here are rude, disinterested, and not knowledgeable about the phones they sell. First off, the employee that helped me was on a Bluetooth phone call and asked if I needed anything but she kept talking on the phone when I came up to her, which was awkward and uncomfortable. I need a new phone and was torn between the iPhone 7 and 8 and wanted to ask about the major differences, but was simply told I should get the 8 because it's newer and they're the same price (they're not). I also wanted a phone that was water resistant and wanted to verify that the 7 is water resistant (it is) and the employee said "no, only the 8s are" - I had to correct her which was also uncomfortable. I also had legitimate concerns about the glass on the back of the iPhone 8, which is known to shatter easily, and they just told me "well they all break". Lastly, they did not have any Iphone 7s for me to even look at to make a determination for myself. I'm considering leaving Verizon altogether if all of the stores are this awful. read more

I live here in Livermore so this store is the closest one to me. Today I went in to buy a spare battery for my Samsung S3. Going on vacation tomorrow and the phone has begun to drain quickly and no time to buy another battery on Amazon. I figure, pick up a spare and don't worry about it. As soon as I entered, I was asked what I needed and responded I needed a spare battery. The employee tells me that it will be a two hour wait! and he could put me on a waiting list or to make an appointment for a later time. I looked around and saw maybe four other customers and 3 sales persons. This was at 1130 AM and you would think they would have more staff on hand to handle the lunch crowd. Walked in , registered my number and waited for quite awhile and later the salesman told me it's better to go on line to upgrade the phone I wanted, which is iPhone 5 c which is free. My impression is they don't want to help me because they won't get any commission, because I am getting a free phone. Instead he send me home to go online. And when I went home I am having a hard time on their website to upgrade my phone, so I called their 1 800 number, and while talking to this lady it seems that everything is okay and later on she told me it's Easter time and it's already April I, the offer was ended. Very very poor customer service, from the store to online, to their 1 800. I wasn't sure if I was just talking to the wrong person. Very upsetting. read more

Samsung Android 4G just went black with blue light blinking Tuesday December 2. Went here to find out why - they had no answer. Joe the new salesman was trying to help - Bob, the older manager was useless, condescending, and told me to be objective? What did that mean? Finally agreed the phone was done in and they ordered a new phone to be delivered overnight. It is now December 7th and have still not received new phone! And you want me as a repeat customer? Cell phone companies get a bad rep, sometimes faulty, but today Jose at Verizon helped us with a warranty problem. His badge says "solution manager", and that's what he did today. I usually don't like going to this store because the employees are so unhelpful. I needed help with the bill paying machine and they ignored me and talked about what they wanted for lunch. Or when I ask questions they make it seem as if it's a hassle to even talk to me. So needless to say I didn't set foot in there for a good six months. My phone got water damage so I called and a very helpful man answered the phone telling me the information I needed so I could buy a new phone. About an hour later I walked in the store and asked for the same man that helped me on the phone. I believe his name was Rodney. Anyway he helped me select a phone, explained everything twice, and was very nice about it. He wasn't trying to rush me, and he wasn't rude or impatient. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. I think I was there for at least 45 minutes asking questions over and over but he didn't seem to mind. I fucking hate this place but the one person who made it worth going back is Rodney...HE brought my rating to a 4, before being helped by him I wouldn't even given them a star. read more

I went into the store to look at a new phone. My old phone was 3 years old all I wanted to do is get a new phone and stay on my old contract. Well as you know they don't want to accommodate the customer if they don't have you by the Balls with a contract want $300.00 for a cheep phone) You can get a phone for $50.00 if you sign contract. so that's what I did and the sales men did not give me any info on how the new phone works or how others like it . All he was concerned with was get to his next commission sale. In ended up with the worse phone I have ever had and cant change for 2 years .DON'T EVER BUY A INTENSITY II PHONE BAD BAD. Terrible customer service. Simply wanted to upgrade my older iphone 4 to 5s. I had questions about replacement warranty and was rudely corrected and cut off with an attitude from the female agent. It felt like she just wanted to push me through the process without any information. I cannot say anything bad about the wait time or the doorman, he was very helpful. One star rating is solely the result of the rude interaction with the female agent, im still in disbelief. read more
