I am writing to formally report an extremely disappointing experience I had today, September 19, 2026, at your store location in Inglewood. After purchasing a new iPhone 18 Pro Max, I was unable to transfer my service myself as I normally do. Furthermore, because service was completely disconnected on both of my phones, I could not receive the one-time confirmation code required to troubleshoot with technical support over the phone. To resolve this, I visited the store this morning and was assisted by a representative named Teana ("T"). Her behavior was dismissive, rude, and entirely unprofessional. She barely acknowledged me when I arrived, provided no help with my technical issue, and claimed she could not look up the details regarding a recent increase in my bill on her tablet. To make matters worse, while I was still waiting for assistance, she walked away without a word to pick up food, leaving me standing there without informing me whether my device was ready or if my service issue had been resolved. This level of service is unacceptable. I expect higher standards from Verizon, and I am requesting that management look into this incident, address the behavior of this representative, and assist me in finally getting my phone service properly activated and my billing questions answered. My visit was brief. Plenty of parking available. I actually found a spot right in front of the business. Could have happened due to it being a Sunday. Walk in and was greeted by Tanika. She was very informative concerning my uncle's phone. His phone has been factory reset but unfortunately he has forgotten his initial Gmail account and password. She told me that there's nothing that can be done and trying to sign into the phone with a new Gmail account isn't possible. She stated that a new phone would have to be purchased to be able to use the newly created email. read more

I was switching from t mobile to Verizon and was being helped by a lady who said she had been working there for 15 years. I told her specifically that I didn't want the Verizon insurance added or anything else added. I ask her if there's any other hidden fees I should know about besides the monthly phone bill. She says no. I ask so the bill will only be 80 a month after autopay. She says yes. I get the receipt and it's over 100$ bucks. I ask her I why the price is so different. She was gone at break so I asked the worker why the bill is so high. He says it's just the taxes. She comes back from break and I ask her and she says the same it's just the taxes and gov fees they have to charge. I ask her if she can break down the whole cost for me. She says that everybody charges taxes. So I go through the bill with her and ask what each one was. She added Verizon insurance, extra hotspot, and an activation fee that she said would be waived. I told her that I never asked for any of that and she just looked at me like I was crazy and told me she could take it off but then leaves. I talk to the manager and ask if they get paid commissions for adding on Verizon insurance. He says yes. That was an ah ha moment for me. T mobile did the same thing to me. I told the manager what had happened and he didn't give a fuck he just told me to download the Verizon app and take off the extra charges myself. Verizon needs to stop paying their employees commissions because if they didn't get paid commissions then they wouldn't try to fuck people over with extra bills. PREDATORY and dishonest practices where they will say accessories are included and charge you exorbitant fees - like $71 for a screen protector and $50+ for a basic case. $40 for set up and go when you didn't have anyone actually successfully set up your phone. Greeted right away, but as the store cleared out, my mom and I were ignored by not 1 or 2 or 3, but FIVE employees. They didn't turn around, anckowledge me when I walked around the store, and just stood on their phones for over 15 minutes. They played various music on the speaker, talked about their DM coming shortly, and other various small talk. If we weren't going to ditch Verizon before, we sure are now. ETA: While the wait was entirely their fault, the guy who helped us did apologize quite a few times as he helped us. Feb 1, 2024 until March 3, 2024 I thought that I would be happy with Verizon but they proved me wrong. They made my life complicated...!!! Their manager teaches his employees to disrespect their customer and treat women as lower class to men... And if you have gray hair, they accuse you of not remembering or not knowing how things work... First I had to as for a receipt, then I had to ask for a bag to carry my equipment in. There was four pages of the receipt so why did D'shawn only provide me with the last two pages...I will tell you why, because it discloses the detail of the contract. I told two employees that I did not want to pay for a new phone service for a free cell phone but I was all for buying a new landline. They acted as if they were giving me a new free SIM card because my other one was not working. Wrong...that was around $75 the next month. Luis will justify the wrong doing of his employees as if it is impossible for them to make an error... Clearly they care more about getting the sale and they will intentionally keep things like billing and the bottom line of monthly charges just to get you out the door with a product or service. I hope I'm getting his name right because I'm awful with remembering names, but the main reason I'm leaving this review is for Nick. I was having serious issues with my phone that took many annoying visits and phone calls between Verizon & Apple and it took DAYS to finally figure out it wasn't fixable and I wound up exchanging it for a new one. In my very awful journey with this I worked with many reps btwn Verizon/apple and Nick was the one who stood out. Even though his ability to solve my problem was limited, he gave me so many suggestions and honestly was one of the only people I worked with that made me feel like he genuinely cared & sympathized with my situation. I can't think of enough nice things to say about him. If there's any chance his boss is reading this, give that man a raise! He is seriously above and beyond customer service wise. read more

So went to this location two days ago to pick up a phone I ordered over the phone an I-Phone 13 and was already paid for. When I arrived 5-6 people greeted at the door who weren't busy. I told them I was there for pick-up of a phone that I had paid for over the phone. While there, I was ushered to go speak to an NFL player they had sitting at a table (I'm not a football fan) but I had my son with me and everyone seemed to be concerned with making sure he had fans interested in signing photos. The problem I experienced was I did pick up the phone and someone did help me, but I had to ask to "activate it" otherwise I would be just walking out. I haven't bought a phone in a few years anyway, the guy did do it and told me to check my photos at home to make sure all was well. Ok, fine.. but when I went to another location and purchased a phone during xmas for my son in Hawthorne they gave me a box for shipping for the trade-in. This location said they were out of boxes, didn't give me any other options??? Their main thing is you got your phone.. I had to come home and call Verizon AGAIN sit on hold and the person offered to send me a link to print out the label to send the trade-in back. Not good, more of my time for an expensive phone. Verizon store in Inglewood please realize that the customer service in person is important, just because I purchased the phone over the phone shouldn't negate me getting help. I rate the company on this as overall service, they want the sell the phones, headsets and internet but can't provide a box or better service on the trade-ins because they don't care about that? Nope not good service. I would not return to this location again. I'll drive out of my way for good helpful service. We also had extra questions and he was happy to answer all of them. I will say I felt it was unprofessional for the group of 3 employees who were having a conversation about one of their pregnancy. Worsttttt customer service, ever. Went to switch from an iphone back to a galaxy, the guy turned off imessage and said it should work. Go to my car can only get phone calls not text. So I go back into the store. Wait about 10 mins while one or 2 of the 5 associates are helping people the other ones are on their phones. I ask is there only these two people helping people, the pudgy guy with too much cologne and jewelry for work says "oh I was waiting for the guy to help you that helped you earlier." Then when i make it clear whatever problem he thought he solved persist, they act as if helping your customer troubleshoot is apparently too complicated or inconvenient. I walked into the store on Monday afternoon, wanting to change from t Mobil to Verizon and get a business line. I walked in around 2:30 and the guy came up to me and. Asked me what he can help me with. I have already got my business license my tax paper and my business name and a copy of it and I told him want to switch carrier from t mobile to Verizon as I want to get a business account he. Came back after 10 min asking me for more. Proof of my business wheich I end up having my co worker sending me a pic of my business liscense , he said that's all he needs. I was in the store today to open up an account and I was helped by this guy who clearly didn't wanna be helping me and was very rude from the jump, he goes to help me open an account but is just very hostile and rude, then proceeds to lie to me about having to show my credit cards that are from another country, and to that I was shocked so I called customer service and they told me that he was in fact telling a lie, for some reason he didn't wanna help me and walked away from me to go eat something in the back while I'm on the phone with customer service. VERIZON CUSTOMERS BEWARE. GO TO ANY OTHER LOCATION. I Just had a crazy unreal experience at this location with the manager Nicolas. I came in earlier today to this location to look at cell phones and add a line to my aunts account. I saw they had playstation 5s in stock and wanted to purchase this device too. Because my aunt had not added me to the account as a authorized user yet, the first employee advised me to just get added to the account for me to add a line and purchase a playstation. An hour and a half later on hold with Verizon customer service I was added to the account as a authorized user. I went back into the store to add a line and purchase a PS5 and the manager Nicolas refused to sell me one without any valid reason. Other customers were purchasing PlayStations without a problem, so I am unsure why he decided to single me out and discriminate against me. I have never purchased a playstation 5 from Verizon or this location. My family has had a long standing Verizon account for years and we are very disappointed that a manager at a store location is allowed to treat people this way. Drove to 3 Verizon stores today (after trying to reach someone by phone for 3 hours) desperate for a phone that my kids need to take on a trip tomorrow. Arrived at this location at 4:45pm. She said she'd be right back with the phone and left me standing outside. 5 minutes later at 4:52pm she says "sorry our safe is locked so I can't help you. You'll have to come back tomorrow." Horrible customer service!! I just came to the location here today. Only two people helping out customers, well three of you count the guy up front. Spent over 45 minutes and no help. Saw a lady having a conversation for over 30 minutes about personal issues, yet many of the customers were still waiting. I have consistently conducted business at the Inglewood, CA location. I am usually happy & satisfied with the service with the customer service & merchandise. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed on yesterday when I went to the store to upgrade the final line that needed to be upgraded and was told the promotion that I used for the other two lines was over. I was previously told it would last to the end of the holiday. Clearly, I was misinformed. Due to the excellent service and knowledge that I have consistently received from this location I did not feel the need to question the accuracy. I expressed my issue/concern and was not able to obtain the immediate resolution that was requested/required. Edward Villa the General manager 323-559-2260 at the Inglewood location in California on Century Blvd. was none helpful and actually tried to do nothing for an immediate response. Actually, I found him to be very sarcastic and made UNPROFESSIONAL and UNNECESSARY comments. I went back to speak with the District manager unfortunately, he was not there. I was given his name of Juan Hernandez. It is horrible that I would have to go through this ridiculous nonsense! I have called customer service serval times and have been to the store a couple times trying to get resolution with NO success! This is horrible that I have been a LOYAL customer since 1999 and this is the treatment that I have received over $350. Not to mention that I have encouraged others to transition to Verizon. There is absolutely NO LOGIC in the communication of the promotion other than a HUGE mistake. Nevertheless, it should not be the customer's misfortune, because someone conveyed wrong information. How can I get to someone in corporate office with authority and business ethics to assist with resolution? Clearly, it is not be achieved here at a local level. I must say this experience has changed a LOYAL customer that consistently defends Verizon's cost as being expensive and I don't mind paying it because of the excellent service and care to I DON'T DESERVE THIS UNACCEPTABLE CARE, due to one of their representatives gave WRONG information!
