I had such a great experience with a Spectrum store specialist Zarria.She helped fix an issue that started when I signed up through a salesman at a Ralph's market that told me he can get my current internet bill down to $70. The new equipment had been sent to my neighbor's house. The salesman from the market said he accidentally sent it to that address but could fix it as soon as I turned in my old equipment to an ups store. It was a big confusion . I had been stressed trying to get it resolved. Zarria was patient, professional, and really took the time to explain everything clearly. Most importantly, she actually fixed the problem quickly and made the whole process so easy. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping customers, and that made a huge difference. This is specifically about the internet service, not the in-shop experience. If I could give no stars, I would. Do not use this if you need basic uninterrupted service at the advertised price. This supposed communications company is the worst internet service provider I have ever used in my life. The customer service is ineffective, unresponsive, and simply not empowered to help in any way. I always have to check my statement amount because if I just ignore it and set it on auto-pay, it'll suddenly rise by $5-15 from one month to the next. This is not a trustworthy company. Spectrum utilizes its monopoly on service -- often in more economically disadvantaged areas -- to screw its customers over for pure financial gain. The customer is never right in the Spectrum world, of if you are correct, they can't (won't) do anything about it anyway. You are merely a conduit for capital. I started service with a reasonable $50 monthly bill. Within the last couple of years, that has risen to $79.25 monthly for increasingly crappy service. Many days while I am working from home I cannot get ANY internet service, not even enough to send a simple email. My video conference calls have been frustrating and problematic; many times, I miss key conversations. This is directly impacting my life, work and livelihood. Just to give you a sense of things, I am writing this off of another service's mobile hotspot. The young man that was standing there with her kept saying "oh shit, oh shit" as if we were not standing there waiting. The DISRESPECT.! Another young lady walks up to Anel and told her she needed help with someone's check payment. Anel walks away and leaves the lady "IN FRONT OF THE OINE" . I walk back to Anel and ask her why would she leave the lady standing in front of the line as if we were not standing there. Stay away from this place. The manager doesn't really want to deal with black and brown customers. It was obvious by the way he spoke to me. Today at 10:30am, with 26 customers waiting, the manager hid from customers while the associates worked their butts off. The manager stood by the back room door and pretended to inspect his clipboard. When he saw customers walking towards him, he changed direction! I took my internet modem back today because I canceled my service service to find out my mobile is still active with them but they ported my number last March 2023 so for a year they've been charging me $30 a month and will not reimburse me all of my $400 that they charged me with autopay. So they canceled a year ago me verbally but not on autopay. Office on Century shared with me that usually when they port the number over there's no more charges. They told me SORRY there's nothing we can do. Spectrum is really ripping customers off!!! Saying that since I didn't notify them in 6 months I only can have $175 refund!!! But it's there mistake no mine!!! I've contacted the Better Business Bureau today and filed a complaint. Please reachout to me if this has happened to you. They always give me a hard time whenever I call for internet service, is been frequently my problem always no internet connections. I've been calling and calling, but nothing has been resolved. It's been 3 days now, and I don't have an internet connection. They always answer automotive machines, and they put you on hold for 10 minutes, especially on weekends, and when they answer another 10 minutes they put you on hold again , the one you to(sarah) is gone another rep again by the name Adu. Are employees required to complete sexual harassment training? I went to this Spedtrum to change my plan but the employee kept asking me if I had plans after this and what I enjoy doing on the weekends. At first, I thought he was just being friendly but then he asked me if I like movies and that we should go out on a date. I did not find it appropriate. I am not going to contact Spectrum customer service, but he needs to know that this is completely inappropriate. I do not reccomend this Spectrum location. I take that back, if you have over an hour of your life to waste to simply return equipment, the by all means, this poor excuse of a business is all you. Currently 8 customers in the store and 3 workers. For some reason, only two of the workers are assisting customers while the 3rd worker seems content standing at the door directing people to the payment machine. Does Spectrum provide vision coverage for their employees?? If not, they may need to look into it since none of these employees in this fricking store can see there are customers (now 12) waiting to be helped. This location was very impressive and beautiful. The customer service was awesome. What's nice about visiting is that you can set an appointment so you wont have to wait in line so long. My mom was told to register her appointment on a login screen on arrival. She started to do so and we didn't have to wait before we were greeted by a team member by the name of Wolfgang. He was so polite and professional. Very impressive in my opinion seeing that he's so young looking. He explained to us why we were registering and that we would be called soon. My mom didn't wait long at all. I was very surprised seeing that it is Christmas Eve. She was seen by a team member named Daniel. Again, very good customer service. My mom and i had a couple of questions regarding service for a second line and he answered every one to the best of his knowledge.
