    We canceled the cr*ppy service, turned in the router, and was all-paid up with them. Six months later, we received a bill from them. Called them and everything was resolved. Then a few months later, we got a letter in the mail from a collection agency. Making a post on social media to warn everyone to stay away from them. FU Spectrum.

    Not sure if this is the office the guy came from, but he was great. Showed up early, took care of 2 tvs. I was watching Samsung channels and couldnt get back to Spectrum channels. He fixed both in 1/2 hour. Was very pleasant, efficient guy.

    Completely understaffed and very slow. There are only 2 people working here at 5:30pm, 4 days before Christmas. You sign in when you arrive and then just wait. And wait. And wait. Worse, there are a dozen customers also waiting. People who walk in just interrupt whomever is being helped and that makes the whole process longer. Hey management, why not bring on some extra help? There was one standout employee: I think her name was Tameka. She was very professional and efficient. Perhaps she could sense my frustration. She was disarming and had answers to every one of my questions. I learned this branch doesn't have a manager at the moment.

    It has that shiny new store smell. The first new Spectrum store in this area in a while and it's clean, Covid safe and ready to rock. I exchanged some equipment. I set up an appointment online, showed up and was handled like a boss.

    They make it like a cafe because you're going to be here a really long while.

A week later, I received no modem, no installation kit, and no communication whatsoever. When I contacted support on 5/4, I was told to go pick up a modem at a local store. No apology for the delay, no explanation of why nothing was shipped, and my request for a modest one-time credit was denied. As a new customer, before service even started, this is already a poor experience. The only reason I'm staying is that AT&T's alternative in my area is 18Mbps at $60 -- so Spectrum has no real competition here and apparently knows it. Hope the actual service is better than the onboarding. --- **Update (5/22):** Since posting this review, my connection has been dropping intermittently -- cutting out suddenly for anywhere from a few minutes to 10-15 minutes before restoring on its own. This has affected me and my family repeatedly. I can't say with certainty whether this is simply Spectrum's service quality, or something else. But the timing -- starting after this review went up -- is worth noting. Will continue to monitor.

It was fine when the snow was on the ground but I've been having to move it around each time I mow my lawn now. I've called them repeatedly to have them bury the line and they've given me three dates now that came and went, and aside from the initial visit, where they texted me saying they couldn't bury the line because of snow, the other two dates came and went without giving me a reason. I've been calling them every month now having them give me full credit for each month the job remains unfinished.

Then out of the blue, zero services - no Internet (we have jobs and kids who need access for school) and since TV came over the line, none of that either. Every morning, noon and evening I'd get a text saying restoration of service by X (i.e. 4pm the same day). After a day or two that showed itself to be a straight lie. No human to talk to on the phone, either. This baiting fraud went on for two weeks until we switched back to Spectrum. They owed me $7.01 per their recurring bill and kept it for months and months instead of just sending me a check. Eventually they sent a prepaid MasterCard I never requested containing my $7.01 which, if I activated, screwed me over with annual fees, etc. I finally got in touch with someone in the Philippines who said they'd send me a check; haven't gotten it yet - been about a week. Frontier is about the worst company with which i've had the displeasure of doing business. Shady and unfair business practices at every turn, in my view. Stay always unless you're a masochistic glutton for punishment. Consider yourself warned.

Out of frustration, I was determined not to cheap out and dug into the options. Ubiquiti had a solid reputation for quality and reliability, so I went about finding someone who handled their products. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Really great setup with excellent user interface and excellent camera resolution. I've already shared videos and stills with the neighborhood (as we are having coyote issues), and it was so quick and easy to do. A+++ experience all around! Thank you so much, David!

The sales person I talked to offered an amazing deal, brought over my phones from T-mobil and promised to call me back to close the deal. He never called me back. I hate Spectrum.

    AbWe chose Spectrum over three years ago because it was the only affordable internet option…read moreavailable in our area. For the first couple of years, things were mostly fine. Unfortunately, the last three experiences completely changed my opinion of this company. The first issue started when we had streaming problems. I upgraded our internet plan online to see if it would help. While upgrading was incredibly easy (one click), downgrading was not possible through the app. You are required to call in, which already feels like a deliberately one sided and scammy practice. When I called to downgrade, I was on the phone for over an hour. The agent repeatedly refused to process the downgrade, aggressively pushed me to keep the higher plan, and then began upselling a "free" cell phone. I clearly stated multiple times that I did not want a phone. The agent framed it as "free" for an extra $10 a month, implying it would essentially replace the cost of my previous internet plan. At one point, the agent literally told me I would be stupid not to take the deal. I acknowledge that I should have done more due diligence, but the language and pressure tactics used were completely unprofessional. I eventually agreed just to get off the phone so I wouldn't be late to work. Months later, I discovered I owed over $250 to pay off the phone after the promotional period ended. The agent would not take no for an answer and used manipulation and intimidation to close the sale. The second major issue occurred when I needed to cancel service due to moving out of the area. The agent, named "Angel" (ironically), was clearly trained to resist cancellation at all costs. He repeatedly asked me to find friends or family to take over my service, then suggested I ask my landlord to transfer it to the next tenant. I said no multiple times and explained I was uncomfortable and did not have time for that. No one should be pressured into recruiting others just to cancel a utility service. The agent then told me cancellation would take 35 minutes and that I had to stay on the line the entire time, not on hold. This made no sense, especially compared to every other utility I canceled quickly and easily due to a move. Once I firmly stated I would no longer engage in conversation, the service was suddenly canceled within 15 minutes. My final issue is that since scheduling our cancellation (and paying for an additional billing period), our internet quality has noticeably declined. Streaming issues and speed problems began immediately. We've had to continuously restart the router, even though both the app and router report no issues. I strongly suspect intentional throttling now that service is ending. If any attorneys happen to read this and are interested in speaking with me, I would be more than willing to share my experiences. I highly doubt I am alone in these circumstances. When I previously attempted to file a complaint about my first encounter, the Spectrum agent told me it was "my problem," which speaks volumes about the company's culture. I'm aware that by writing this review Spectrum likely won't care or respond meaningfully, but potential customers should know this is a company driven by corporate greed and sales metrics, not customer service or ethical treatment. Overall, Spectrum trains their agents to be manipulative, controlling, and aggressive. Canceling service should not require standing your ground repeatedly or enduring intimidation. If I had another option, I would never choose Spectrum again.

Our IT Consultant recommended DigiLink and during our preliminary meetings with them, we grilled them mercilessly with how they would handle each and every nightmare situation that we had been dealing with. Finally assured that they were the ones, we committed to an entire new phone system - no small commitment. We have never looked back. Let's talk customer service first. When there's an issue and you call DigiLink - their easy voice navigation system gets you to a live person - in record time! Their incredible desire and commitment to resolving an issue is textbook perfect. Technical mishaps happen. Upstream carriers fail and that has a rippling effect. But it's how DigiLink responds that was what mattered. They communicated their progress and followed up to make sure all was back to normal. They never lost their personal touch even as I saw them grow which is what should happen. Throughout the years, our commitment with them grew. We added additional sophisticated systems and with their incredible service, there is no downtime to complain about. Internet speeds are absolutely rocket speed - no small feat for an advertising agency. I seriously wish other companies would use their customer service as a template

Even if you're standing for 20 minutes, you are typically ignored until they have time for you. There was a woman there who was extremely abrasive. She cut me off frequently and answered all my questions in a very dry tone. I make a point to be expressive and give friendly gestures with retail conversations. I do this because so many service workers tend to be rude and nasty. Sometimes this works. But this woman remained stonefaced throughout our interaction. However, she was friendly with the woman before me, but only because she was talking about her daughter. Overall, the store could use some basic customer service training. Simple engaging friendliness goes a long way.
