I had a very uncomfortable experience at the Verizon store. I came in because my phone had died and I needed help. Michael (tall brunette guy with glasses) initially assisted me and was polite while we discussed possibly getting a new phone. While using a store phone to call my mom, she advised me to file an insurance claim instead since I qualified and it would prevent my monthly payment from increasing. The moment I said I would not be moving forward with a new purchase and would instead file a claim, his demeanor completely changed. He became snarky, hostile, and impatient. Because I had no phone, I explained that I needed to remain in the store briefly while my mom contacted Verizon customer service and called me back. I was calm and respectful about this. He first said he was going to the back to count inventory, which was fine. Then he returned and said I would need to leave because he had lunch in 30 minutes. Shortly after that, he came back again and said he actually needed to go to lunch immediately and that I had to leave right then. The abrupt change in behavior once I declined a sale was alarming. I felt extremely uncomfortable and shaken by how I was treated and spoken to. No customer should feel pressured, dismissed, or made to feel unsafe simply because they choose a different option that doesn't result in a sale. This experience was disappointing and unprofessional, and I hope management addresses how customers are treated when they choose options that don't benefit the salesperson. read more

Do not do business here. They are not an official Verizon store, and can only upgrade your phone by adding a new line or internet service. Very scammy. I came to trade in my phone for a new one under the Verizon corporate promo they are offering. After being pitched to add a line, add home internet, and a free ipad, I made it very clear that I do not want a new line or internet, since historically, this has been a age old scam sneaking it contracts. I finally said, I would like to trade my phone in per the Verizon website, and he then proceeds to tell me that I would not be able to do that there. read more

Been a Verizon wireless customer for 20 years and this location was truly terrible. The employee acted annoyed that he had to help answer basic questions, refused to help with anything other than upgrading additional phone lines or higher priced monthly plan, and all other requests he rudely said I'd have to call customer support to do anything. Overall rudeness and dismissiveness to simple questions were very unexpected. Find a different location to go with nicer employees. read more

Bill is the Manager at this store in Venice, CA, and the best of any Verizon store personnel I have ever encountered, and I have been a customer for thirty years with Verizon on the Westside. Bill is a person who can educate, calmly relay information about upgrading to an iPhone, and eventually teach and communicate everything necessary to learn about an iPhone upgrade and change. I cannot say enough about Bill's patience, follow-through, customer service, and everything else that is needed to feel comfortable with the iPhone change. He should be acknowledged for how well he handles questions and works with a senior citizen. Bill is a person who needs to be recognized, as he has patience beyond what I am used to and takes into account where you are with your knowledge and understanding of an iPhone, especially when upgrading. I can't say enough positive things about Bill in this store, as my experience was so pleasant that he needs to be acknowledged by all leadership above him. Horrible customer service by Nate id936, heavy bald guy who displayed laziness. I've been a customer over 8 years with Verizon and recently added on additional services and know this one individual does not represent Verizon - thank god. Leadership, please rethink who you have as the face of your company especially if they do not have customer service skills, raise their voice/cut off customers, and threaten to throw a customer out of the store, though part of me wishes the little guy would have tried. This review is for Anthony Uribe and Rodrigo. I went to my local Verizon store to pick up my new iphone. I unfortunately did not have a great experience on my first time around with the sales girl. My second time more than made up for that with an amazing guy named Rodrigo. He helped me solve all of my problems and got my new iPhone up and running perfectly. The supervisor Anthony called me to discuss feedback from my first unfortunate visit. He was sympathetic, very helpful and offered great recommendations. I actually went ahead and ordered the home Internet because I believed what he was saying and he built trust and rapport with me right away. I love the team here. I've come back a few times for various reasons, and have met with different people every time. They are all so courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Melany and Barrington helped me out initially to get my phones setup. I came back with some questions on my bill, Jose helped me understand the breakdown. I just moved to Marina Del Rey for work from Michigan. First thing I noticed was my TMobile phone didn't work very well. I stopped in last week, and saw Nate. He looked busy, but I appreciated that he stood up and came to greet me. He asked what I was in for, I told him I needed to switch to Verizon. What he did next, I've never witnessed at a Verizon store. He sat with me, grabbed some paper, and started asking me questions! He didn't just go into a sales pitch. Automatically, I felt I'm in good hands. After he asked me 4 or 5 questions, I settled on the iPhone 16 pro. He looked at my current storage and suggested I get the new one with bigger memory since I'll likely be keeping this phone for the next 3 years. He showed me how the promotions worked for the 3 different plans, explained how some plans had faster speeds and hotspot that I would definitely need for work, and showed me the difference in total cost between the 3 plans. I chose the Unlimited Plus. He then asked more questions!! Showed me some "perks" that can save me some money for other products. I was paying $11 for Apple Music, he got me that AND AppleTV and Apple Arcade for $10. He also showed me the Disney Bundle for $10. I was paying $19! Once we got it down, he went to grab the phone so we can start the process. He helped me get my needed information from TMobile so that I can transfer my number. Once he started my application, he let me know that my address also qualified for Internet access. He showed me that with my current plan choice, I can add that on for just $45. It was cheaper than Spectrum. He told me I can take it and try it, if it doesn't work, it's easy to cancel and return. But then he gave me the promotions! I can get a $200 gift card AND Netflix AND HBO max for free for a year. That seemed too good to be true. He showed me the promotions on his screen. I figured why not? After about 5 minutes, he had everything ready. But we weren't done. He helped me with transferring everything from my old phone to my new phone. After that, he helped me download and set up my Verizon App, we set up automatic payments, and he helped me log in on my Apple Music and Netflix. I was having trouble with registering on HBO because my card wasn't going through. He was very thorough here. Today, I returned to trade in my phone. He greeted me with my name! That's awesome! He asked if I was able to sign up for MAX, and I had totally forgot about it. We tried it again with a different card and it went through! Oh! And the Internet works great! I was very happy to work with Melanie at the Verizon store in Venice. I purchased a new phone from the store and she took so much time with me to help me learn how to use it. As a senior citizen, I appreciate when it is recognized that I might have a longer learning curve when it comes to new technology, so when I was able to work with Melanie, I felt very secure that she understood my needs with learning the new phone. I couldn't agree more with Armando's assessment of the experience. I went in with my elderly mother today (who has been a 26 year customer of Verizon) because she was confused about the deal she got yesterday. She was told she could return the phone and get the $50 restocking fee waived. However, when we went in today, Nate claimed that the fee could not be waived. Nate was rude, interrupted us often, got in her face, and after she called him an idiot, threw us out (I guess he is more comfortable going through all the hateful motions with women). He refused to let her return the phone but also said there was no alternative, as it could not be returned at a different store. She was in tears and I am so happy I was there for her. RUN don't walk away from this place. I believe they are a reseller so they can make up their own rules and don't rely on Verizon for guidance. DON'T GO HERE~! read more
