I wasn't greeted when I entered, I waited around for about 10 minutes not knowing if I was going to be helped or what was going on, or if there was even a line . So , I asked a T-Mobile rep that was with a customer if there was a line cause everyone was everywhere and she said yeah you have to be signed in. So, I signed in with her . She had a bit of an attitude and wasn't the kindest. But, n all fairness the other girl that ended up helping me was nicer and resolved my issue . But, I cancelled my service with Tmobile due to the very same poor customer service that I always experience with Tmobile . Which is why I will never switch to the again. read more

He was courteous, patient, listened to my problem, and very quickly came up with a solution. She's not paid enough to deal with TMobile not knowing what the f*** they're talking about. 1st location said to turn in your old phone within the 14 days of receiving your new phone you don't need an authorized user. 2nd location said you need an authorized user and a pin 3rd location said you need someone in person with an id as an authorized user 4th location said actually you have 30 days and you need the pin from the authorized user. I've never left a review that wasn't 4 or 5 stars but I cannot emphasize how terrible the service is here. I love T-mobile as a company, but please never find your self in this store specifically. We can start with the promotions, the workers will give you false information to get you to agree to a purchase or plan change and when you confront them about it, rather than take responsibility they will switch you to another rep in the store or tell you come back the next day when the manager is available. Next, they don't follow T-mobile policy. When I tried to trade in a phone, they told me I wouldn't be allowed to keep my phone for a few days despite T-mobile (the company) making it very clear you can mail your old phone in. I wanted to keep my phone to make sure I would have the option to cancel the trade in because I didn't believe what the sales rep was claiming about a promotion along with how it would affect my bill; in addition, I wasn't given a receipt (you can call 611 or check with any other store to know this is all in violation of policy). I've spent days going back and forth with this store but I'm at the point where I've just given up and from the blatant lies to the rude customer service this is one place that will never see me again; save yourself the trouble and please just go to another store :) read more

I've been putting off getting a new iPhone, trying to keep my iPhone 8 because I couldn't face transferring to a new phone and learning how to use it. My daughter had a good experience at this store, so I gave it a try. I'm so glad I did! It's nice and comfortable inside, but even better -- Fernando was amazing! He helped me upgrade from an 8 to a 15, leading me through weighing the options to picking the necessary cords and case options to transferring everything onto the new phone to showing me how to use it. (No Home Button, but he got me through it!) If you are tech savvy, you'll find it a great place to shop. If you're a bit more challenged boomer like me, you'll find it life-saving! I have been on T-Mobile for the past 2 years. Service is usually pretty good. Every once in a while it is sticky. One of those times was when I was in Illinois. My phone froze up and I couldn't do anything with it. I went into the T-Mobile near Granite City in Rockford and was helped right away. The gentleman that helped me, (sorry, I didn't get your name, I was just so frustrated that my phone wasn't working)...really trouble shot my phone well and we came to the conclusion that it needed to be reset...but not a hard reset...whatever that means...all I know is that whatever he did made my phone work again. I was very grateful for that. But, this review is really for the Los Angeles store off of Robertson. (Near the CVS)... I went in to see about the hoopla about 5G phones. I asked the young lady if there were any 5G compatible phones. She said yes. I asked her if the XR was 5G compatible. She said yes. I then asked her how much... ($1100...OUCH)! She then went on to tell me that the market for 5G was in DTLA...and that if 5G doesn't work that you will automatically be placed on the 4G network. That was confusing to me, but I thought...let me see the phone first. So, she showed me the phones that I was enquiring about...but, here's the kicker...you CAN'T pick up the phone and hold it. SHAKING MY HEAD! You have to just look at it from this like vise like grip hold thing that is attached to the display thing...it was wild. You can't even pick it up with a cord like thing attached to it...You can't hold the phone. I would never buy a phone...especially one for $1100 that you can't hold. So ridiculous! The service was good, the girls were knowledgeable. Not being able to hold the phone was a huge deciding factor in not buying one from them. I can hold one at Best Buy... read more

I rarely use yelp review but today's experience really pissed me off. These people really shouldn't be working at a customer service job if all they providing is attitude. I was trying to return Internet modem after cancelling my service with T-mobile because my current residential area is at a so-called blind spot which their service doesn't cover. My wireless internet been on and off for the past year and it has negatively affected both my personal and professionally life. So I came to this cooperate store after visiting two other T-mobile stores because they claim they cannot take the returns. I walked in, there's was nobody to help me. Employees were sitting in the back sofa, chitchatting about god know whatever. I waited for about 10min. A guy named Alex came to ask how can he help. I explained my situation to him hoping that he could provide a solution. He said and I quote:"I understand this is what you been doing and spending time on but I don't need to know that. We can not take the modem back in the store you have to ship it at a UPS. " REALLY?! You can't simply tell me that on the phone when I called 40min ago? Anyways, He also refused to provide a shipping label to me and threaten me that if T-mobile doesn't receive the modem they will still charge even tho I cancel my account because they know my social. It is to this point that I got really pissed off. How could a service guy say such thing to his customer? I really wonder if he's been using his job as a cover to look into other people's social number. In the end, a guy named Miguel, I think he's the store manager came out from the back and try to De-escalate things. He eventually help me printed the label. Needed a new phone so my brother recommended I join his plan on T-mobile. Went there, got an iPhone 11. Was told that because of my brother's account , I would get the phone 50% off, get 5G, and could keep my number. All lies!! Two weeks later, they say they can't transfer my number over, my phone isn't eligible for 5G, and it was not 50% off. How can you just lie to people? I will do everything to pay this phone off quickly, and then I am leaving T-mobile. Shame on you guys! I hope you go out of business.! read more

The degree of incompetence is absolutely jarring. Going more than 24 hours without service on one phone line and probably going to go for another 24 hours then MAYBE, MAYBE will the line be activated. Ridiculous. We installed additional protections after an unauthorized user was able to get a SIM card and hijacked a phone line. We came in yesterday and explained the situation including the additional protections. The worker, Maria, dismissed what I said and said that it wouldn't be a problem. 2 HOURS later and still no service. She makes a call and lets us know it will be 24 hours before we get service. Fine. Come 24 hours and nothing. We come in again and this time work with a different worker, Ozzy. Cue another wave of incompetence and we're told we need to wait another 24 hours and even then there is no guarantee that things will work. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I went to this T-Mobile Store as a walk-in, on Monday 5/16/22, no appointment, to get a new Samsung phone activated. The staff there were outstanding-the store manager George had Marcos take care of the activation, SIM card swap, and transfer of data that took a couple of hours and Marcos was very patient. Thanked Marcos and left. Then I realized, I wasn't connected to the network. I returned and Alexander stated I needed a new SIM card the old card did not work properly. I've never felt obligated enough to write a negative review, but another reviewer had a similar lousy experience with the same employee so it seems to be a common occurrence at this particular store. I came in a few days earlier because my family had recently switched to T-Mobile, and I ended up having my phone stolen from my purse a few days after so I had to get a replacement phone. I was helped by the guy on the very left of the "Friendly Staff" photo on this store's page, who matches the description in another person's recent review. I told him my situation and jokingly mentioned how I came in earlier that week, where he curtly responded with "That's your fault for not having insurance". I was already feeling bummed out that I was a victim of theft, and on top of that, when I came in earlier I wasn't offered the option of adding insurance to the phone anyways. Fortunately, there are a lot of T-Mobile stores nearby where the small difference in distance is worth the huge difference in customer service. I ended up going to the West LA T-Mobile on Pico instead, where Cesar hooked it up and was apologetic about the rude service at this store. Save yourself the time, avoid the rude staff, and just go to a different store. read more

I recently went into T MOBILE on April 25 to trade in my iPhone 12 promax for the 14 pro max. And I got a really excellent deal on my 12 promax Treyden towards the cost of my 14 promax. And the woman who help me her name is Michelle and she was rather helpful at first, but then when it came towards the end well she was in the process of setting up my new phone. She decided to ask me once it was finished downloading and everything was a super nice to make a phone call to see if everything was up and running.. sound like OK so I called my significant other and it first it didn't go through. It transferred me directly to T MOBILE and I tried again about a minute two minutes later, and it went through this time.. but while in the process of doing this, she decides to get up and go into the back room doesn't even bother to come back out to finish the process of the sale. Just stays back there and does whatever.. and yes, I did contact T MOBILE customer service and report of the situation because I found your behavior to be completely and totally unprofessional and disrespectful and rude. So while I recommend going to this location, I do not recommend that you make a sale with Michelle because she's part of the young generation she's most likely no more than 23 to 26 years of age. But it's this generation in the stage in the 2023 era that were in is really F* up because they presume to act and think that they know everything there is to know with regards to anything and everything when they really don't they have a lot of life experience to learn and a lot of growing to do. So while I appreciate the young generational help from certain people that you confront and want help from, they need to learn respect, morals, and values, because I think when it comes to having morals and respects and values in this day and age in this generation, their parents greatly failed when it comes to each and everyone of them. read more

Compare to the experience I had previously at another store located at Rosemead, this one is way better. I asked the exact same question, and the staff was able to help me to resolve my issue. In the previous visit, in the rosemead location, all I heard was the manager telling a new staff that they educated me. There is a team member here by the name of Jesus and he was AMAZING!!! We just left our provider and wanted to open lines with the family plan and upgrade to 2 iPhone XS's. They had the model that my husband wanted but the phone I wanted was not in store and this was on Saturday. Jesus went above and beyond to make sure that I had the model I wanted by Sunday and went out of his way to get it delivered to the store by mid day on Sunday. Every time I go to this store, there are only two sales reps working there and too many customers waiting for their turn to get serviced. They seemed like they do not care customers waiting, not even saying the word to make sure if they are okay, they seemed like they are used to "ignore" customers who are waiting and wondering around the store.
