I have been a long time customer of Verizon, and to be quite honest, I have been very frustrated and disappointed with the experiences I've had recently. I was just about ready to switch my cell service to another carrier. However, when I visited the store recently to fix my SIM card issue, I happened to get the nicest technician, Q. He was very honest and explained to me that it was a known problem with the iPhone that I had. Besides fixing it, he also told me that I was paying way too much for the plan that i currently had. He lowered my plan significantly, helped me upgrade both my husband's phone as well as my own, and at no extra cost to us. I praise Q for his exceptional customer service. These days, customer service is just not what it used to be. Due to him, we still will remain loyal to Verizon for now. Thanks Q! read more

Came into the Verizon store today and was told there was a short wait. I was fourth on the list but only waited about ten minutes. Ronnie Gomez helped me, and he was excellent--knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Having worked in this industry before, I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. He explained the plans, deals, and options clearly, and he really tried to make it work. That said, I didn't end up walking out with the phone I wanted. The main issue isn't the staff it's the system. The employees don't seem to have much flexibility when it comes to pricing or decision-making, and there's no easy way to reach them directly since they don't have business cards or phone numbers. If Verizon empowered their people more, I think the whole experience would be stronger. Still, Ronnie did everything he could, and I appreciate his effort. Four phones for this visit. read more

I purchased a new iPhone less than a month ago while visiting The Bay. With a trade-in, I needed to return the old phone. After a false start yesterday, I returned to drop off it off. An enterprising sales associate accepted the device. He also advised me that I was eligible for a free Apple Watch and an iPad since the purchase was with 30 days. WTF? I needed to pay the sales taxes and a connection fee, about $160. And my monthly bill will increase about $7 a month. What would you do? LOL! read more

Not like this place needs another negative review, but here we are. We've come to this location a few times in the past and always left frustrated in some way or another (either by an inexplicable wait while associates seemed to just be hanging around, or by the associates not being able to help with anything whatsoever), but my husband came in yesterday to give it another shot. In short, he wished he didn't because it was a waste of time again. Longer version: he came in to order new phones for us for our upgrade. We had gone to a different location a few weeks ago and they were willing to order the phones for us, but said one of the deals wouldn't be able to be applied because it had to be after something changed on the most recently billing cycle, so we waited. He decided to head here because it's closer, and was told to put his name on the waitlist, which was thankfully short. Now, let me preface this by saying this is most definitely not our first time upgrading to the most recent iPhone at the time, so we're familiar with the process of it needing to be ordered and having to return when it's arrived. That's normal. What's NOT normal is the woman he spoke to trying to tell him that he'd have to leave our phones with her to be mailed out before the new phones could be ordered. Like... WHAT? Absolutely not. Luckily he's the type to not make time for silly (a nicer word than he'd use) statements/claims like that and he just left without giving this store another moment of his time. read more

So my mother was set to upgrade her phone. She had an iPhone 7. I originally planned to see what the black friday deals were before we go ahead and purchase a new phone for her. Instead of listening she said verizon was going to give her a great deal and that she would see what they had to offer. I told her they will try to upsell you. If they do say something about a bigger screen get the iPhone 16 pro. you don't need a pro max. Let's be honest the cameras on all the phones on the 16 are the same. So having an extra camera lens to someone who just checks emails and sends about 3 people texts a day My mother is a 65 year old woman. Who like I said just needed a basic phone. With all the phones that you guys sell you could have recommended an iPhone 14. My mother came in the store with her 85 year old mother. When I talked to her at night guess what the sales person Alex sold her. An iPhone 16 pro max for her. An iPhone 16 plus for my grandmother and talked her into a getting an Apple Watch and iPad. WHAT? Is this even ethical. You see an old lady coming and you talk her into the most expensive devices. Not cool. read more

I was given a business plan. The network was not useful for my business. For delivery an logistics. PHONE Customer support . Only let me talk to foreigners. Never, nobody in the United States. So there was a language barrier all day, regardless of open hours or close hours. When we realized that the network was not good for my business, I was not disclosed at every business line that I had to transfer out.I was gonna be penalized, $725. Each line. I i was only with them 3 months. In that time, I lost thousands of dollars of business. As one additional twenty eight hundred dollars to get out of this problem. Nobody took responsibility. And I continued to pay for my ill. Inform decision. I do not recommend this store nor Verizon for business. It does not have an infrastructure with lightning speed. I came into the store and clearly even tho they are overcharging everyone's phone plan they can't find it in they're budget to hire a proper amount of people to cater to the amount of people in the store. when I waited to be checked in with the guy who's name I didn't get literally did not listen to me speak, cause I needed help to set up my new iPhone which they do for like $30 bucks (they've done it for me in the past I've been with Verizon for like 15 years they've always helped me set up my new phone) and then he cut me off just told me that they can't help me. I told him I came from another Verizon store that told me that they would be able to help me. The guy cut me off for the 4th time in the middle of my sentence and said "ma'am thats the only answer you're getting.". This is a review for both store and Verizon customer service. To begin this store's experience is similar to going to the DMV. Slow staff and rude managers - Audi and Seaneil. False promises, excuses and lies! Then calling the 800 is not any better - you have to repeat yourself multiple times, staff seems inot trained in customer service and will not understand your problem no matter how many times you repeat Talking to a manager over the phone is a non existent. Since I knew I would be paying my bill last minute recently, I decided to go old-school and see if paying in-store was still an option. Since I was in this area, I decided to drop on in since they are located in a decent shopping center with a big free parking lot. Upon walking in, it was a little awkward since there were about five associates standing there clustered talking, but a couple of them did greet me. I asked about paying a bill, and one of them told me where the kiosk was towards the back. Not a single one bothered to guide me over there themselves, but that's okay, I'm competent. The touchscreen was basic and easy to use, so I was able to do this with no issue. There was another customer in the store I didn't notice before, and another employee was helping here. There seemed to be a lot of staff in during this time. When I was leaving, they were all taking photos on a bench towards the back of the store. Since there wasn't anyone to help, I guess this was a good way to pass the time. I came to pay a bill, and I did. Customer service could have been a lot worse. read more

Went in for my scheduled appointment and only had to wait 10 mins until being helped. I was hoping to have an upgrade, but one of my family members on my planned used mine. Jonathan found another deal that I qualified for and helped me trade in my iPhone 12 for the iPhone 16 pro. After he went on lunch, Luis helped me with the transfer. The whole process was seamless and the team was super helpful. I was worried after reading customer reviews of this location, but was pleasantly surprised!! I would never want anybody to have to endure what I have been put through for the last two months dealing with the stores miss handling and atrocious behavior. The store employees were just supposed to help me activate a phone and instead opened up multiple phone lines without letting me know and also Lost a phone that I was supposed to be turning in and swapping for a new iPhone 16. Instead, they opened up multiple lines, and with a promotion that was going on, they received multiple phones which were not given to me or even told me about. I did not find out for a week or so when my new bill came in for over $400 when I was supposed to be $150. Having to tell this story over 100 times has really taken it out of me. Verizon as a whole has really let me down. They are not the company they once were and not worth paying the additional higher price for service when they don't provide the service. After over 18 years of service with them, I will now be leaving for T-Mobile I believe because of this store and this stores employees but also the back office And how they refuse to even get on the phone most times and want you to speak only through their digital assistant with text messaging. The store employees, including the Manager here have verbally threatened to close down my accounts because I caught them in their scheme. I was bullied out of the store by multiple members of the team and threatened to have my accounts closed on two different occasions because nobody would want to help me correct the account that they had messed up. I'm still continuing to contact them after hundreds of hours over the phone dealing with this matter. I've had over $800 of fraudulent charges credit back to my account, but I still don't have my phone that was lost or the new phone that was promised because of the swap. Speaking to Manager after Manager trying to get the department of executive relations has been a nightmare and even the manager say that they don't know how to get in contact with them, but they are the ones that I need to contact. It seems like a catch 22 where they're telling me I have to contact this department, but refusing to get me in touch with them. I've had service requests open since November 5 and nobody has reached out to me to correct this issue and solve this problem which seems like a very serious problem to me. They keep trying to get me to accept a resolution that is not a resolution at all considering the amount of time I put into this correction. This is never gonna get let go by me and I hope they realize that I'm not going to quit trying to fight for what is right. It seems to me that they are doing this to every customer and most customers don't even notice it because the bills are so hard to read and navigate through. To me it seems like what we went through as a society with the banks opening fraudulent accounts to meet quotas, and also the cable companies with their bills that were unable to be read. I will try to keep you guys all updated on the status because anytime they say they will call you back. They won't. I've been on the phone every day since November 5 and I will continue to be on the phone until Verizon corrects this matter and gets me somebody to speak to. They can keep ignoring the fact that they made so many concerning issues and mistakes, but I will never forget. -** Update and reply to owner: Verizon has lost my trust and loyalty. They have refused to help resolve the full issue and disrespect they have shown me. Yes they refunded the fraudulent charges but because they never would have if I didn't fight for myself for over a month to get this corrected. They refunded the bare minimum and I received zero compensation for my time or comfort. I have lost faith in their service and commitment to loyal lifetime customers. I now have to review my bill every month in detail because most of my loyalty discount were unable to be applied since they are all grandfathered and discontinued because I have been there so long most of the things are not offered anymore or even on their system. Excellent experience at this Verizon - I had a complicated transaction and the representative who helped me (I think her name is Timmarie) was patient, creative and efficient. We never felt rushed or pressured, we were offered multiple options and the activation process, while long (because of my volume of data needing to transfer over) was the smoothest that I can recall. The manager was very helpful as well. They had a good ratio of sales people to customers- nobody seemed to have to wait long to be helped, and it was a Saturday afternoon. I have been a Verizon customer for 25+ years, and this is why. Highly recommend! read more

But unfortunately i didn't receive the good customer service I am accustomed to when going to Verizon after being with them for over 20 years now. The representative was not able to help me and told me I needed to call Verizon. Do not go to this Verizon. I came to get help with wiping clean my old phone after having upgraded to a 16 Pro. You get 30 days to turn in your old phone. I came to this Verizon within14 days. I was unable to remember my Apple ID password which is necessary to get into the old phone so the sales person told me to set a one hour delay which apparently is required to reset a password. I didn't know that, and she never explained that. She also didn't explain that once you set a delay you have to wait the full hour. It cannot be turned off or canceled. I asked to speak to the manager. He was worse. After asking for help because I didn't understand why this delay was required he kept walking away, telling me that "you seem to be frustrated so I can't help you and I have other customers to take care of." Yes, I was frustrated. I needed help, and I needed someone to explain to me why Apple now requires a one hour delay before resetting the password. He only said that at the very end after my persistence and his rudeness and unwillingness to provide the slightest amount of courteous customer service. I guess once I upgraded my phone 14 days ago I was no longer seen as a potential commission and providing customer service wasn't a priority. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone at Verizon (or at any other business) let alone by a so-called manager. His name is Nick (Nicholas) and he is at the 10814 Jefferson Blvd location. I can't believe the sorriest service from Verizon ever! The employees here seem to "hide" from the customers! It's like no one wants to help you out. I only saw two employees actually helping out. The manager, Jerry, acted like he was too busy to give anyone his time. Already walking in I was given attitude, Jerry, said the wait was from an hour to an hour and a half. The lazy, poorly-trained, and ignorant employees were of zero help to me. My 5G router was not working and I had no wifi. I did the usual fixes including checking the power, resetting it, changing cables, etc. I took it into the store for diagnostics, repair, or replacement since I use it working from home. The two 'greeter' employees and a manager all told me the same thing: I could call customer service and they'd send me a new one in two business days or I could sign up for a new service, cancel my old service, and get a new router. What's the point of a physical store if they can't service the products they sell? I called customer support and the auto-chat makes the assumption that someone with Verizon internet also has Verizon cell phone service. That wasted five more minutes. Finally I got a rep on the phone who contradicted what the store employees told me. The rep finally reset my router and it finally worked. I was not impressed with Verizon's: * employee training * willingness to help solve a customer's problem * and lack of options for phone support I had been thinking of getting Verizon for my cell service. After this horrible experience, I think I'll just use landlines and payphones ;) read more

writing this review with new iphone i just got. i haaaaate dealing with a phone upgrade, and i braced myself for a super long terrible process but i was so impressed with this store... i arrived at 6:50pm to upgrade my phone. by 7:50pm i was walking out with a new phone, an apple watch they had on promotion when you bought a new iphone, screen protector applied perfectly, and all my data transferred (ALL OF IT). i hate that i can't remember the woman's name that helped me (timura?) but she was awesome, as was the rest of the staff. never have i ever had such a non-frustrating experience buying and transferring a new phone...10/10. read more

This store is an abomination. I purchased a phone that didn't work and the store never returned it to the warehouse. This means I am still getting charged for a phone I don't have. I've called into Verizon 6 times and the store manager insists I come in and speak to him. This has been months. He was SUCH an asshole and continues to be just that. I would avoid this store at all costs because the manager will, literally, steal from you. He should be fired and that he hasn't (that I know of) is a testament to Verizon being careless, too. read more

Long gone is the time where companies like this actually want to help their consumers. Seriously, don't have the option on the app to setup an appointment to go in for help, if all you're interested in doing is focusing on sales. Went in to drop off and cancel the new 5G home service I signed up for because, unfortunately, I did not get service in my home. At a different store, I was told to return it to a Verizon store within 30 days to cancel and avoid a restocking fee if it didn't work out. Great! Well, not so great, because I setup an appointment to do just that and came here at set appointment time. Guy takes my info, and asks why I'm there, then just says I'll be right back. 10 minutes later, he hands me a Fed-Ex return label to return the device and says call 611 to cancel. I explained to him what I was told, and he just said there's miscommunication and his manager said to refer me to 611. Wow, what great help that was and what a waste of gas. Point is, this store won't help you unless you're buying a new phone. I wouldn't buy a new phone from them ever again. Much less home internet service. Just buy from Apple directly if you want a new iPhone with great and stick with another internet provider. SMH. read more

Very bad customer service.. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE AN UPGRADE!! I had an upgrade for my IPhone 11 to trade in for the 'IPhone 15 on us' in which the trade-in is suppose to cover the cost of the new iPhone. Come to find out I have been getting billed an extra 23$ per month now scheduled for the next 36 months because they did not apply the upgrade and instead credited me 60$ for my old iphone. The upgrade says 'Trade in your current device for an IPhone 15 on us'! Make this make sense. This place will rip you off!! Absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ive ever experienced! the first manager Sheanil made me call a customer service number! they needed to speak to the manager sheanil and he continued to LIE to them and say that I placed the order and not his employee! like why!?!? Then he left for his lunch break in the middle of this!!! Most of this was do to a fee that they wouldn't wave although it was the employees fault for making the wrong order!!! Almost 2 hours later customer service talked to another manager there and the manager did what was needed in 5 minutes! This was Absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable experience! I made an appointment and went in on time. My SIM card was failing off and on. I'm the GC of the company, but they said I had to be "made an administrator" before they could help me. I got my boss on the line, but they refused to believe it was really her. They said she would have to call 611 and get me added as an admin. I said I'd speak to our exec assistant on a weekday, and asked them if they could not assist in the meantime with a temporary fix. Response: "What do you want me to do, sing your phone a song to make it feel better?" Today I got hold of customer service who told me they did need permission from an admin but certainly did not need the admin to call 611. And they helped me install an ESIM card over the phone. Why go to the store at all? Just to waste time and get really rude treatment? read more

Everything on my older iPhone worked except the actual phone (and text messages). I went in thinking I need to upgrade. The woman who helped me could have just taken my money but she suggested we first try a new SIM card. It solved the problem and I was out of there in just a few minutes, having NOT spent whatever a new phone would have cost. That was great customer service. read more
