Great place and more trustworthy than the recommended chain stories (like Asurion) that Verizon referred me to. At Guzman, they gave me a very fair price ($40 to replace the charging port on my iPhone) and turned it around within a few hours. I had gone to UBreakIFix beforehand and they would've charged double and warned me it "was very likely the phone would break since it was so old" so... I'll be going here instead in the future! Only other thing to mention is that the hours here say 9AM-6PM - but it wasn't open at 9AM. I'm not sure of exact opening time but probably closer to 10AM. read more

Fernando is a poor business man. First of all, he'snever open and the parking is horrible. I have used him many times but 3 weeks ago I left my tablet for repair. I called him to find out the cost and left 5 messages and he never called back. His prices are good but I'm done. read more

Fernando is a magician. Everyone else told me the phone could not be fixed and I wasn't even looking for my phone to be fixed. I was just looking for data recovery. Well, I got data recovery and what looks like a brand new phone! My phone was cracked and broken before I ruined it when it fell in the hot tub but now I have a restored fully functioning phone that several others, including Apple said could not be fixed. I highly recommend Fernando for any of your cell phone repair needs. read more

Guzman Compucells - Mobile Phone Accessories Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I went in after I went into Verizon store up the street on Overland Blvd in Culver City to have my Pixel 2XL Google phone looked at. The seam of the phone had opened and I could see the inner workings. After being informed that I have no Warranty (its from 2017) the Verizon lady recommended Mr. Guzman at Compucells. I walk Overland regularly, so I jetted down there. Mr. Guzman said the battery had 'ballooned' thus lifting the 'real case' open of the Cell Phone. He said $40 for replacing the battery. Damn good price for that! It would cost probably $80 bucks at a fancy air freshened 'kiss ass' operation. So he said it would be awhile to get the battery in. It took about 6 days or so, one must wait for such important matters. You'd think okay great, done. No. You are wrong! I go in there and Mr. Guzman gives me my phone which I expect to be working fine. There is a 1/2 Inch White Vertical Bar, right down the right hand screen. Bright, no words showing. I'm just aghast! The phone is Ruined. I just look at this with my jaw on the ground. Here is my REAL 'loved' one, my everything, destroyed! A 3 year golden friendship gone. Mr. Guzman is rather relaxed seemingly as he goes to his computer. He explains that while changing the battery the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) the actual screen of the Pixel 2 XL was somehow damaged. I cannot read the full screen and it isn't getting better as I scroll. Mr. Guzman explains that it will Cost him about $135.00 for a new LCD screen for the phone. He decides that the $40 I owe him for the battery replacement will be used as a Deposit for the LCD replacement and that it will cost me $60 more. He will probably not make any money at all, Labor included on this disaster. I'm upset, but I'm not about to scream and rant like an Idiot! I give him the $40 in Cash. Which Mr. Guzman didn't ask for. Only cash accepted. And he says call him next week. It was fixed just yesterday Friday, the 12th in about 45 minutes. It's sterling. Beautiful work, the screen is completely new and clear. Literally a totally new 'Build' of my Cell Phone. I recently switched carriers to TMobile. In the Cell Phone sales department they listed my Pixel 2XL for $17 trade in! $17... for a phone that cost me over $1000 dollars! In 2017. No thanks. I'd never do that. And I also learned sadly that Android will no longer update my phone. Guess that's about everyone needing to buy a new one, every single year. But why? I wasn't born in the year 2007. We bought once and didn't buy again in the 1970's! There was no need to back then. Anyway, Mr. Guzman restored my trust in the working woman and man. He fixed everything and was composed and professional. Do go to him with Cells and Computers... I'd like to think in this way I've made him some Money. To cover this 'loss' on his good end. read more

Great service! Fast reliable and affordable. I have replaced our daughter iPhone battery at Guzman Compucells yesterday. It was done in less than 30 minutes without breaking the tempered glass screen protection or having to wait for the part. On top of that the price was extremely reasonable! I definitely recommend them for any cellphone maintenance need! read more

I live in the area and have seen the shop my times. I got my cracked iPhone screen quickly fixed for a competitive price! Recommend!

What a nightmare!!! This owner is NOT knowledgeable, NOT accurate, NOT well spoken, NOT responsive. Severely damaged frame while trying to replace a touchscreen on hp laptop AND completely scratched iPad air 2 while trying to repair battery charge. After many non-not return phone calls and texts I asked for my deposit. I do not recommend to use this servicethis service. read more

Guzman is amazing. He's definitely our go to guy for any Macbook or PC related issues. Such a knowledgeable team and work very professionally. The most importantly is to find someone that you can trust to do the job right first time around. Went back to guzman for some iphone battery repair. It was in and out 15mins. Planning to go back to him for screen crack too. Affordable pricing. Highly recommended read more

Super great guy! Very helpful. I went in to clean the interior of my laptop and he did a fantastic job.

Guzman has helped me on 3 separate walk-in occasions and the service was great. Even though I had minor issues with my MacBook, they were glad to help. I highly recommend. All Covid precautions were practiced read more

fixed my iPhone screen in less than 20 mins for a competitive price. 10/10 would reccomend

Works very slow and insufficient. Not sure how he is in business, but i guess there is not much competition so people are forced to wait days for simple diagnostics and things. on a working video card quoted me 3 days just to change thermal paste, something that takes less than an hour. Has no imagination to make an appointment and cut the time down. I am working professional and cant afford to have my video card on his shelves collecting dust for 3 days! read more

Just got my iPhone screen replaced... $60 cash, in & out within 15 minutes. The guy even threw in a free screen protector. Would definitely recommend this place. I'm gonna be back here for sure, when I inevitably crack my screen again. read more

Competitive pricing! You'll be happy with their quote. The lowest quote that I got to fix my cracked iPhone 8Plus front screen. They are super fast, too... just 30 minutes to replace screen. I had noticed my screen wasn't perfectly flat and I thought it was from the frame being bent, but they diagnosed it as the battery being bent and they replaced it. My phone is now back to being perfect and I added the screen protector which was installed without bubbles(perfect work). Thank you for the quick service and fair pricing! CASH only so be prepared for that... it's totally worth the trip to the ATM ;) read more

Had the glass on my iPhone 6s replaced in 30 min! Only $70 and they gave me a discount on the tempered glass cover I got at the same time. Quick, friendly, and the work has a 90 day warranty against replacement workmanship. Yes, it's cash and there are plenty of ATMs in the area. I'd recommend this place! read more

Why am I such a yummy dummy?? My phone has been in an increasingly state of shamble-ocity since I first cracked my screen in June for Long Beach Pride. After months of ratchetivities, the LCD finally cracked and I just had to get her fixed. My roommate recommended Guzman Compucell and I had to give him a shot. I brought my iPhone 6s in and Fernando gave me a quick and easy quote: $120. Not bad at all. The only thing I'll complain about because I can is that Fernando didn't have the part he needed to fix my phone so he had me come back the next day...and on that day he still didn't have the part so he asked me to come back the next day. But finally on that 3rd day, he fixed it within 20 minutes and added a screen protector for me Quick and easy, would come again. Word to the wise: bring cash. read more

This is a great place to get your cell phone fixed! They do an amazing job and will have your phone back up and running within no time. I've had a screen replaced on one phone and a LCD on another phone and both were done professionally and within 30 minutes to an hour. On top of a great repair job, the price is reasonable as well. Just remember its CASH ONLY, so plan ahead and you might want to call before you show up to make sure he's in the store. read more

Buyer beware, do no replace your iPhone screen here. screen will start pressing random buttons and it will drive you nuts. Must have something to do with generic part they use? my husband tried to bring phone back and all owner could do is to offer him a "good deal" on yet another replacement. While he was at the store, a few more people came in with the very same issue of phone ghost-typing. Next thing you know your phone will dial someone or purchase things online or send your private pix to your contacts. read more

He was fast and efficient and the best price. I paid $45 to replace the screen on my iphone 6 and it took him about 15 minutes. And he's got any cables that you think you would ever need. This is my number one go to place now. read more

I had a hardware problem on my MacBook, so I took it to Apple Store to weigh my options. They quoted me an outrageous $180 for parts/labor. With my MacBook & my money, I searched elsewhere. After checking other 3rd party computer repair businesses, I stumbled upon Fernando's shop (as it's right down the street from where I stay). In short, Fernando's quote cut Apple's original quote of $180 nearly in half! Anyways, check out Fernando. Great work! On a side note: 1) Fernando speaks both English and Spanish. 2.) Bring cash! He made sure to tell me to bring cash when I came to pick up my repaired laptop. 3.) The shop is visible on the east side of Overland Ave. & there is parking directly north of the building his shop is in. read more

This guy took my computer when I told him it was an urgent job, wired in a new cord that needs removed by an expert, broke my old cord, failed to order a new cord over the course of TWO WEEKS, and then announced "he doesn't feel comfortable" fixing it. Well, I suggest you avoid this establishment at all costs. read more

Fast, friendly, professional, awesome service. Fixed my phone in 20 minutes. Now it's like a brand new phone. Highly recommend!!!

Fernando has repaired my iPhones more times than I care to admit and I've bought one phone from him with no issues. Like the other reviewer stated its cash only. Didn't know about the lot so I used to play chicken with parking enforcement and used street parking. Great prices and great work! read more

Mr. José is very knowledgeable and honest iPhone technician. I took my fried (literally, broken screen, dropped in water and then electrocuted when I plugged it in to get charged) iPhone 6s to get fixed. José tried his best to get it to turn on/ work again. Although he was unsuccessful, I appreciated the effort and diagnostic, most of all he did not charge me for his valuable time. Needless to say I had to get a new phone. read more

I went in to have my phone battery replaced, and the battery performance only marginally improved. After four months of use, I decided to go elsewhere to replace the battery again.
