What a nice owner of the store! we came on a saturday to get an iphone screen fixed and they were quick and efficient. the owner was a very personal and knowledgeable guy and explained to us pricing and quality. the pricing was good and he gave us options. will be coming back to give my business! read more

Awesome shop that fixed my computer totally didn't have to send it in to the dealer. For a good price and on time too. Only took like a week. Awesome service you guys are the best read more

BEWARE! These guys claim to be Apple-certified but they are NOT! Quoted me $69 on the phone for a battery change, then of course raised it to $89 when I showed up. They said "much cheaper than having Apple Store do it..." even though that is the exact same price Apple charges. Then when they did change the battery, they screwed-up some software on my iPhone and refused to take responsibility, forcing me to wind up at the Apple Store paying to repair the damage. I learned my lesson -- please avoid this place and have trained Apple employees do the work, these guys are amateurs. read more

In recent months I've used Cellular Gallery twice, first for a broken phone power jack, second for a broken laptop keyboard. Both times they provided ideal service: quick, thorough, and reasonably priced. They identified the problem and offered alternative solutions. I will return whenever I have another problem and recommend the without reservation. read more

Michael is the man! No doubt! He repaired my Mom's old iPhone that she was quite accustomed to . Needed a new charging port and battery which he did with amazing turnaround and at a very reasonable cost. Saved her from having to buy and learn a new phone. He cares about his work and customers.Highly recommend . Thank you Michael! read more

I have been coming to this shop since I was in high school. Mike and his team are more than just a phone store ,they are family. They are extremely professional. Their work and customer service is always premium. Mike always goes above and beyond what any other phone store does. Hence why this store is always my go to for anything that I need. Mike is an amazing human being. And I'm grateful that the city of Santa Monica has someone like him around!! read more

Overpriced doesn't honor work. I took my phone in to repair the screen and bought a protector. The protector i bought for 25 dollars didn't come with a screen protector and i found the exact same one on Amazon for $8 and included a screen protector. For 170 dollars the phone didn't work screen was bouncing around and didn't work properly. I tried to take it back he told me the issue wasn't due to his work but the phone never acted like that prior to taking it to his shop. He took advantage of an elderly woman whose life is in crisis right now. I do not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

Rohan in the store was very quick and efficient. He removed the cap on the Canon camera lens which was stuck. Was pleasant and didn't even charge. Highly recommend. Ganesh Santa Monica read more

I just got off the phone with Mike. I had a problem with my Dell desktop motor - which had to be replace. I wasn't sure if Mike was the place to take it, but no problem. Replaced the motor by the next day - then when I brought it home, I was panicked because I didn't think it was working - brought it in, Rohan showed me it was working fine - so I brought it home and changed the monitor cables and it worked! Just- as Mike called me on the phone to ask if it was okay. First time in the store two strangers told stories about Mike "saving their lives." Not from a tech problem - but a life problem! When has anyone ever heard that? There's a reason he has so many 5 star reviews; he's a stellar person. I can't recommend any place higher. If Mike or Rohan can't fix it, they'll know what to do. The team is great. Everything was good, fast, and professional. Since I wasn't there myself, I received information from my wife, and it was important to her that her phone could be fixed because she was afraid of losing all her data. Of course, before going to them, we stopped by the Apple Store, and guess what they said? It's impossible to fix it, but we can sell you a new one. Their policy of not handling repairs is simply awful. That's when services like Cellular Gallery come into play, where they can take care of everything. More importantly for me was how respectfully and professionally the staff treated my wife. read more

I recently had a phone that was acting funny and I hesitated on getting it fixed. I had looked at various reviews on Yelp and in other places before I decided that I would try this place out...and I'm GLAD I did. It's a small neighborhood place and these have always been my first places to check out, but not the easiest to figure out based on appearances alone. The location is in a small, local shopping square at the corner of 16th and Santa Monica and it shares the same parking lot as a 7-11 and a local favorite, DK's Donuts...which is another neighborhood nugget btw. Michael was key and knew right away that my Android had a bug/virus. I was ready to buy an iPhone but he assured me that wasn't necessary and that my Android Galaxy A53 5G was fine as it isn't that old and I was approving way too many apps and app "permissions". iPhones have the same problems and since I live in both the PC and mac worlds, I am aware of that. I am not a Mac person for a variety of reasons, but the main one is that I don't want to have my entire world in just one OS. I'm not a newcomer to any of this btw. I use both OS's in both personal and business use. One of the reasons I am an Android phone user is that I like the fact that they allow new apps that are open to developers and users who are open to new apps that are still in development. (Open source). I know that is a risk I take, but I don't want to be stuck with apps that someone like Apple approves and restricts apps and new developments they don't "approve" of. For those who are old school, it's like when everyone else was using AOL when those of us used Earthlink. People who used AOL had no idea they were in a cocoon either. Not my thing. Don't want to hear about how I'm "behind because I won't have an iPhone". (Background stuff, I know my shit) Cellular Gallery fixed my phone and took out 74 viruses that were in my phone. I had the phone there from 10 am to 4 pm but it was well worth it as the phone has been fine ever since. I had been approving permissions from apps that were too new for primetime. My fault. I can't say enough about the excellent service here. I saw they do computer work here as well. I'll be going back. I hope too many more customers don't "ruin" this place but I'm leaving my review anyway because out of principle they are good at what they do. The price was fair and Micheal was amazing, fair and realistic with me. My phone was with them a few weeks ago and everything is just fine. What a relief. read more

Thank heaven for Michael at Cellular Galaxy! A few days ago, my cell phone fell into my pool. I raced to get it out but..no luck. It wouldn't wake up, etc etc. Luckily a friend told me about Michael at Cellular Galaxy in Santa Monica! Michael is the most knowledgeable and HONEST technician I have ever met. Did I say HONEST? Yes (!) and that is very difficult to find these days. He tried to repair it but it was on life support. Michael helped me work through the insurance claim, and hopefully I will be the owner of a new replacement. Thank you, Michael! read more

I believe the true measure of a business is the way they correct a customer problem when it arises. I recently brought my phone in for repair. A day or so later, it seemed that my speaker was nicked during the course of the repair. No problem. Everybody can make a mistake. When I brought it back in, I got no argument. It was repaired on the spot. No questions asked. This is the way a business should operate. Others should take a lesson from them. I want to thank them. I appreciate you guys. read more

This is for sure the best Location of phone repairs and prepaid services in all Santa Monica! I had the pleasure to visit them and now I am frequent customer due to the excellent service that I get every time I go there. Mike is just a fantastic person , always willing to help and full of knowledge in what he does. You need an activation? ask Mike and he will recommend the best cellphone carriers such as T-mobile, Cricket...etc. You need to fix your phone? Mike and his team are the best on that. but wait..you need accessories for your phone? a computer? guess what, in cellular Gallery also you can find that, they have everything. 100% recommended with the best quality. Thank you Cellular Gallery for being the #1 read more

I had a charging problem in my Sprint uninsured mobile device and was expecting a costly and long process of repair at the company's repair center. I decided it's time to go privately and after research found this wonderful repair shop. The front guy, Mike, was very nice and inviting and was quickly figuring my problem. In no time he offered me a much more affordable repair that costs about less than a third price compare to Sprint repair and lasts only about 2 hours (unlike 2-3 business days over there). I loved the welcoming and friendly attitude and got my phone back to me totally fixed! I'm so happy with this store and will always relay on them with my mobile stuff! I'd recommend them to anyone in need anytime! read more

My iPod Nano (7th generation) was given a free diagnosis to determine if I needed a new battery or if it was something else. Apparently, the 3rd party charger I was using (from Verizon store) damaged the charging port beyond repair. I'm very angry at Horizon, but thank you for the free diagnosis. Would definitely use you again if the repair was in my budget. read more

Cellular Gallery has been our go-to cell phone place for years. Michael saves us incredible amounts of money when either my husband or myself, run into technology glitches. The service is always top rate and we continually recommend this company to anyone who has problems with electronics and does not want to run into much hyped purchases that are not necessary or relevant. We have recommended him to many friends and they all utilize his services. Can't say enough about this great cell phone or technology repair place. read more

There are a million cell phone stores all over Los Angeles. Besides having a great selection, the number one reason to visit this shop is the owner! Outstanding service! Brought my Samsung Note 9 in yesterday morning around 11am to have both the screen and back replaced. Go to this place if you need your phone repaired! My cell phone suddenly died, I thought i had to get a whole new phone but it turns out to be just the screen. I went in, Michael took a look, confirmed it's a screen issue, told me the price, checked to make he had the parts, and told me to come back in two hours. No fuss, honest, and really nice person. He called my husband in 1.5 hours saying the phone will be ready in 15 minutes. I showed up and it was good as new. By fixing the screen, he saved me so much money instead of buying a new phone. He's also very friendly and just a really nice person, and makes an effort to chat with you and get to know you. Hopefully my phone won't break again, but if it does, I'll definitely come back here. Thank you Michael! Xie xie! read more

I found this place on Yelp a little less than a year ago. I called them for a quote on fixing the backside of an iPhone X. They had the most reasonable price out of all the places I called. I went in there immediately. A very friendly/ funny guy named Mike helped me out. They didn't overcharge me and fixed that in less than 2 hours and for less than half the price I got offered at other repair stores. Then yesterday I dropped my phone and suddenly my screen went white and green, even tho it didn't crack. I just walked in right away as I had a good experience here already. They fixed my phone in 30 mins again for a very decent price. This is going to be my go to place always. They always have a solution to any issue and they are always honest. read more
