This place is horrible!!! First off their website says it takes them 45 minutes to fix anything. This is not true!! I had to meet them outside of a resturant which I thought was kind of shady. The top two lines of my iphone would not work so he said it would take him two to three hours for the repairs. I told him I would come back for it. I came back and he had fixed the lines but he gave me phone back with a totally broken screen. I was livid. He did not have the proper equipment to fix my phone and lied and said he did. He did not charge me for the repairs but still I would have never used this guy had I known he would have given me back my iphone in such crappy condition. DO NOT USE!!! read more

He made an appt for me the day after I called, fixed the phone in 10 minutes while I watched TV, and then chatted me up about traveling and other interesting topics. iFixNow, located in Marina Del Rey and owned/operated by Hector and Eric, is worth a look for iPhone repairs (cracked glass and/or LCD, broken LCD's, broken home buttons, battery replacement, broken sim trays, jacks, etc.). They can do most iPhone repairs onsite and within 45 minutes, and offer a very comfortable setting/waiting area while they complete the repairs. They offer weekend appointments with notice and have a convenient website to schedule appointments and contact them about possible quotes for repairs not listed. The site did not work well with my Mac's Safari or Firefox browsers, however, so I had to use a PC (ironically) to schedule appointment from their site and send them contact emails. Other than that, they offer a professional, no-nonsense service and accept cash or credit cards (via PayPal) for their services. Apple computer wanted $199.99 to repair a cracked screen (LCD was fine, mind you) and that is just absurd and arrogant of them to be asking the cost of a new phone for a simple repair job. Don't do it, don't be snookered by their "Genius Bar." Apple makes great products but their arrogance toward their customers after purchase is often astounding. They seem to think everyone is made of money and will be happy to hand it over to them for the privilege of their services... do not be fooled. Apple service is often NOT covered by AppleCare warranties and you'll find yourself paying through the nose for even the most simple repairs. If you're in the Los Angeles area, I suggest, strongly suggest, contacting iFixNow and let Hector and Eric fix your iPhones or iPod Touch devices (they service a wide range of recent models, and may offer a mail-in service... check their site and contact them for more info). I was pleased with the results of their repair work and am happy to have my phone back without paying more than $100 dollars to get it done. These guys have a great service company and treat their customers right!
