I'm not even an AT&T customer, but I have to speak on what I've experienced multiple times at this location (in the shopping center at Hawthorne & El Segundo). There's an employee here who constantly yells out at women walking by, never men, just women. And to be completely honest, it's usually women who are more attractive. I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but he does it to me every time I'm at the beauty supply store next door, and it's just uncomfortable. Instead of greeting people professionally, he hollers from the door or even from behind the counter inside the store. I don't know if he thinks that's charming or a way to get attention, but it comes off as aggressive and inappropriate. What's even more disappointing is that other employees are sometimes there when he does it, and no one steps in or says anything, which tells me they either don't care or they condone it. I'm literally sitting in the parking lot right now writing this because he just did it again. AT&T, this is not the way to attract customers. It's rude, uncomfortable, and flat-out unprofessional. Someone really needs to address the way this store is being run and how people are being approached. read more

Third time and last time I visit this store. Some associates lack of costumer service skills, they seem to be mad, not enjoying what they do, they way the greet people is so unprofessional. Last interaction I had with one of the associates was today, his name is CODY, the store was empty, he went back inside the office and made me wait for about 5 minutes, from the moment he sat down with me, he gave me attitude, ask for my ID and threw it back at me. The purpose of my visit was to return my old phone because I trade in I made at the same store the first time I visited it. He gave a receipt and told me the amount "this is what u getting" I left the store but I wasn't sure about which amount and I went back inside to ask him about it, and with the most horrible attitude he told me this is what we are giving you. Totally rude person who I don't understand how he can work with costumers. I don't know if that person is the manager or just an associate, but he needs training or need to leave the job is he is not happy with what he does. I hope he is not the store manager I really do. So if someone read this review think twice before you go to this store, and if you go and this person CODEY goes to you ask for someone else. read more

If I could give a ZERO STAR rating I would.....I visited this retail location after speaking to customer service and being advised to visit a retail store and purchase a sim card to replace my current "fried" one. I was greeted by a gentlemen name Franky at the first table while he was watching a movie on his cell phone. When I informed Franky exactly what I needed (just a sim card, because I had to call customer service back with the SIM #) he asked me for my phone number and my ID. He took a picture of my ID (front and back) and asked me to put my SSN on the iPad twice. When I questioned him why I needed to provide my social security number he stated "the account is already set up" and showed me my account information. I believed he was working with integrity. After all of that, I was told by him that he could not outright sell me a sim card unless it was for a plan that was $65. I could not understand why this was not conveyed to me prior to getting my PERSONAL INFORMATION. There is something very shady about this gentleman getting all of my personal information only to tell me he couldn't help me. I left not only dissatisfied but heavily violated all because this gentleman clearly needed a sale or a new profile to start doing fraudulent stuff with. Nonetheless, I will be following up with the manager Martin (that was the Manager's name Franky gave me). To be continued.........Because I WILL make sure my information is protected. read more

Worst AT&T. Got a phone last week from the online website. It very clearly states on the online website customers can take their phone into an AT&T store for an exchange if they experience issues within 14 days. The dude that greeted me and my mother said "we are a 3rd party store so you have to contact AT&T to do the exchange." My brother in christ, you are literally listed on the AT&T website as a store where it can be replaced. I've taken big return hits before. It sucks and ruins your metrics, but they are risks you take working in a commission-based retail field. So stop lying to your customers before you get reported to the BBB for your unethical practices. I won't, but somebody who is actually an awful Karen will one day and AT&T and whoever the true franchise owners are aren't going to protect the workers at the store when that happens. I am a very disappointed customer ,I went to this store and purchased two phones which were not supposed to be activated immediately, somehow, as soon as we walked out of the store both phones were activated and to add, the AT & T Rep lied to us about the accessories, he told us they were only $11( said it was a specially promotion for the holidays) only to realized that they were a $9.92 charge for the next 12 months. My dad went in to ask for help for a phone he bought at a different att location, he got denied services because he didn't buy anything in that specific location. the gentleman was very rude and instead of redirecting my dad to a different att location he brushed him off. Where to start... I'm surprised the recent comments were all 5 star compliments, maybe because they have a 10% off coupon of some sort for leaving a comment/check in on yelp. Let's get to it. I walked into the store, only to realize all of the associates were sitting down, on their phones or laptops conversating with one another. Not one of them greeted us until we were approached by an associate, of what brings you into the store today. The associate, Adriana was very knowledgable, patient and quick with service. Because our phone wasn't in the store, we ordered it from another place and had it delivered by an agent that weekend. Nonetheless, the transaction went smoothly and according to plan. Fast forward, the phone was delivered, but we decided to go with a different route with our purchase. I went into the store, tried to return it, unopened, untouched and was told automatically that I wasn't able to return it because they had "it wasn't in there inventory" and that the only way to return it was through shipping it back to warehouse in Texas. Keep in mind, this was said by the same person who helped me, and was then backed up by the manager, Joel. I left the store a bit in shocked, and immediately called 611. I explained to the agent on the phone about the situation and they informed me that I was allowed to return it to the authorized AT&T store ( it's not a corporate store keep in mind) without a hassle. When I relayed this information to the associates, they immediately reiterated the same information, we don't have an inventory of this and you must ship it back. At this point, I'm given a roundabout going in circles of he said she said and it hasn't sold my problem. I eventually settle for shipping it back and here I am still waiting for return information and a refund from AT&T. So to the At&t associates, thank you for putting your needs first, before your customer's needs. I guess you needed that commission more than helping an actual customer out with a simple return. Thank you for wasting my time, and given me the roundabout with information that was useless. Thank you for trying to send us to a corporate store so that you can keep your commission too. And lastly, thank you for giving me false hope that this would be an easy return through shipping, because it hasn't. Oh for those who plan on going calling the store, they never answer the phone so you have physically go into the store. I would rather go to a corporate store versus an authorized store I know for a fact they have better agents that are willing to assist you without losing commission sales. read more

Came into the store after customer service messed up my fiancés phone line. I was helped by Omar, great guy very helpful. During my visit I witness Johnny the other employee there handling an upset customer very well. Customer was aggressive and aggravated but during the whole transaction Johnny kept his composure and was able to assist the client and who left the store happy. Kudos to Johnny, For staying professional not many would have been able to do the same, dealing with a arrogant customer like that.Great staff over all. read more

So initially I was taken care of to a satisfactory level of service! I went in the 9/8/18 to purchase a case and glass screen for my iPhone 8 Plus which was a simple task! However I then then realized on 9/23/18 that my phone case was broken. So of course my first step was to call! Which. I did I was given some answers which I did not expect one being that it was 17 days past my date of purchase (I had not counted the days) and I could no longer return or exchange because it was past my 14 days! Well I then hung up went to web site of the case I owned and realized that it was 15 days exactly and saw on my receipt that I actually had 15 days! Well long story short the store did nothing to make me happy about my faulty phone case! No discount on a new purchase, nothing! Just "sorry there is nothing we can do!" Let me start off by saying this store hires dumb people. So I go to purchase the iPhone 13 pro max and I ask 1 of the workers for it and he tells me that the person in front of me got the last one I was looking for. No big deal so we go through the process of placing an order and long story short, he "places the order" and I use my card to pay, he says it'll be available in about a week. A week goes by and I keep calling to check on the status of it and they tell me that it's not available yet. On the second week I had enough of waiting and went to the store and they tell me they can't help me, that I have yo talk to customer service. I call them and they say they never placed the order. I check my bank statement and sure enough the transaction disappeared. What kind of idiots does this store have working here. Hopefully this store goes out of business soon. read more

Guess what, after 15 miles of driving in LA traffic in 80F. I got the response " the dude talked to you has the phone but he is in a meeting and will be out at 3pm" Well unlike people working for at&t, I had to keep my promise and needed to be somewhere else in 3pm.(still without a phone) I asked them like 15 times when I paid for the phone, "Can I get the phone after 12 pm before 3 pm?" Loving the vibe in here! I don't think there is anyone who enjoys dealing with cell phone companies either by phone or in person but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the energy and attentive customer service in this store. It was quite busy when I walked in but it was well staffed and there were smiles all around! (Dare I say its because there is a Starbucks next door and coffee is always readily available?) I was greeted as soon as I walked in, advised it would be a small wait, but the energy and friendliness of the staff help make the wait a breeze! Finally after a brief wait, your rep Arturo offered to help me and even though there was no need to, he apologized for the wait. He was able to solve and helped me understand my billing issue, he even went into detail about the account and explained discounts and offers that I wasn't aware of and I didn't even have to ask. If your whole team is like Arturo, you guys have a good thing going here. I was in a bit of a time crunch so I didn't have time to make any changes but I do plan to return soon and take advantage of the upgrade that I qualify for described by Arturo. Had not been to this location since they remodeled it but great location. It is small but has plenty of phones on display to fit anyones needs. They do have the kiosk in case you wanna pay your bill cash or credit. Wait time was good. Everything explained correctly and the order process was a smooth transition. There is a few seats in the store in case you have to wait. Plenty of parking but may be busy at times due to other stores near by. read more
