Let me start by saying this location had a good selection of women clothing. On Saturday, I visited two other locations prior to going to this location as I was on the hunt for women clothing. I had received some Christmas gifts and returned them so I wanted to get some Michael Jordan women clothes. This location actually had the best selection and a way better woman shoe selection than the other two locations I visited earlier that morning. Dajon is the man! We were bummed that we couldn't get the Dodgers World Series hats. We went from store to store and couldn't find anything at all The other stores kind of blew us off when we asked. This man went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. From calling one store to another, he literally didn't mind at all. It is so rare to have people in retail tend to you in this manner. He went thru their internal system found us a store that had them then get the hats shipped to us at no cost as a one time courtesy. I was very impressed with the interest that Angelica showed in me and my purchases. Not only she did search for the shoe size I needed but she also check other stores for the sizes I needed as well. When I changed my mind about one shoe and chose another, she patiently looked for the shoe in the size I needed. She did this with an awesome attitude. She didn't make me feel as though I was annoying her. Another thing that impressed me so much was the professional attitude in Dajon. A customer was very rude towards him when he went out his way to help her. She was very sarcastic, picky and rude. He was very professional about the situation and didn't get out of character. I respect him so much for his attitude. Also the courtesy officer named Dawrin made customers feel very welcomed as they entered into the store. I also spoke with an officer by the name of Ishmael over the phone the night before to verify if a pair of shoes I saw online were on sale in the store. The two stars are for the lady cashier with a nose ring. She couldn't be discrete about her zero desire to be helpful. I placed my order online to pick up in store, but I was already there so I thought I would ask if my order can be processed already so I could take the shoes with me. I stood in line for sometime, and when I approached her and explained she immediately and without hesitation told me "oh no, we can't, the order is not in the system yet" I was like, what?? How do you know if you haven't even looked it up?? So, I guess she realized how bad that was and said" yeah, I'll look it up, what's your name?" I told her my name, she gave a quick finger touch to the computer screen and said "yeah we don't have it in the system" could I believe her at this point? NO. Word of advice to the women, if you plan to go in, do not take your purse or large handbags. The last time I went in there with my tote bag, they checked it. I'm sorry, does it look like my tote bag has extra crap in there, whence I came in with a near empty bag. There was this other WSS location that checked my purse. Seriously, if they're so worried about theft, tell people to not bring bags inside! While you're busy here checking bags, maybe you should have your employee(s) walk around sticking around to people to prevent theft and have your bouncer guy at the front door. I love the clearance rack but aside from that the shoes really aren't a good price. You can get sneakers cheaper on the internet so what I usually do is I go to WSS, find a pair I like and try them on. If they are a good fit I order them online. It seems rude but the prices here are not good. I've been here three or four times and as far as the sale staff goes I had one guy who was really nice and another time I had a woman who pressured me for a sale and kept wanting to bring me shoes based on what she thought would look good on me which was soooo annoying because the shoes were loud and color and wouldn't match the clothes I typically wear. The selection isn't as bad as other Yelpers have claimed. They have a solid selection but there have been multiple times I have asked to try a pair of shoes on and they didn't have them in my size. Though I do recommend coming here and checking the clearance section. I even talked with a manager the last time I was there and I asked if I could get a discount if I bought multiple pairss and he agreed to take $15 off the three pairs of shoes I ended up purchasing. This is my go to store when i am looking for shoes. They always have what i am looking for plus more. They have great deals. I recently had a problem with wrong pricing, and i do want to thank the manager (i believe she was the manager) for helping me and getting my problem solved. She was very nice and professional. Workers follow you and look down on you as a customer. I honestly left stressed out. Felt very uncomfortable. I wasn't able to shop and enjoy it. They made it seem as if I was trying to steal something. I dont feel comfortable shopping here. I have a career and money to pay. I don't need to be treated as a theaf. I heared one of the employees describe over the walkies my outfit and when I was trying to try on my shoes they litteraly came near me and stared at me. And my 5 year old son kept asking why they kept looking at us this way. If a child is able to notice that means you are over doing it. Also 80% of the store is for men's shoes only and 10% for kids. And 10% women's shoes and they don't have much of a variety as the men's shoes. To top it off employees are on their phones instead of helping customers. read more

This place is atrocious. I literally left this place 5 minutes ago. The customer service sucks big time. These people have jobs yet aren't doing them efficiently or effectively, yet we wonder why certain people get the kinds of judgements they do. It's so unfortunate, the security officer at the door called for service after 15 minutes no one came then I happen to see a young Hispanic girl who worked there and asked her questions she was absolutely no help. This place is full with lots of shoes for the whole family. they do let you use coupons and your rewards card to get more of a discount .they do have a few workers this store is a big department store located alone the store does not carry a lot of bigger shoe sizes for women or men they also don't carry a lot of New style . The selection here is sparse. Unfortunately for the surrounding area, this store is a frequent victim of loss prevention failure. However, the gem of this store is the clearance aisle. For the fashion forward (and wide footed like myself), you can find shoes just out of season or some versatile pieces in leather, mock leather or canvas (usually in a sea of b-ball sneaks and boots). Man did I have a great experience walking in my first time here....BUT one guy named Jonathan was really the main reason why I'm even writing a review which I never do BUT someone like him should be truly recognized for his hard work. First off I drove almost 2 hours(mostly traffic) for these shoes that I asked him to hold which he said he can for 2 hours. Called him and let him know that i would be late which he did not mind and said he would still hold them for me when I get there and appreciated me calling and keeping him updated. So when I GOT THERE, I was wet greeted by everyone there. Nice clean smelling environment as u walk in! Then Jonathan came up to my gf and I greeted us and answered all my questions made sure that my girlfriend & I were good and even after still came back and offered to look for any specific shoe and size which I never had seen a WSS employee do. This Inglewood store is truly lucky to have such a great employee like Jonathan there. Went above and beyond to make sure that my experience there was great & on top of that he was working a double shift from what I overhead his coworkers talking about but I wouldve of never guessed. He was in a great mood and just all around a great example of what a great hard working employee is. Hard to find nowadays but WSS give this man a promotion!!!
