During my recent visit a couple days, I had an unpleasant interaction with a new Assistant manager , who I understand is a newly appointed Assistant Manager. Unfortunately, she came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, and did not provide me with the information I needed about the shoes I was interested in purchasing. Her attitude felt condescending and impatient, which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected as a customer. From my experience, it seemed that she may still have a lot to learn about customer service and leadership, as her behavior did not reflect the professionalism expected from a management position. I also couldn't help but feel that I was not being taken seriously, and possibly even racially profiled, based on how she interacted with me compared to other customers. read more

Honestly, I thought going for a pickup would be faster which is why I decided to do that. On the email it says to show them the barcode, but the girls working there don't know what to do. Most of them were in there buying their own shoes and only one girl came up and asked me questions then proceeded to send me to the kids footlocker, which a wonderful lady over there helped me. I don't go to the footlocker here because I know their service is 50/50 and I received the short end of the stick that day, their attitudes seemed off. They got their shit together when the young lady from kids footlocker came with me to see what the issue was with my online pickup order. I purchased a pair of shoes for my daughter on 4/22/22. To my surprise the shoe laces were wax covered and almost impossible to stay tied. On May 23rd my daughter showed me that part of the show sole was flapping around because it was no longer glued. I was shocked and decided to go back to the Footlocker location and ask for an exchange or refund as it was less than a month from the date of purchase. The foot locker manager made it almost impossible. First she said no refund if no receipt. I took the card I paid with, the box the shoes came in, and showed her the transaction on my apple wallet. None were sufficient for her. Then she said I had to have an email because they always ask for emails in case people lose their receipts. I have all my emails linked to my phone, so I searched them all. No foot locker email was located. Then she was able to finally search with my phone number. She then said she could not find my transaction and due to the wear on the shoes she was unable to make any return. She just said it was wear and tear. In the month that my daughter had her adidas shoes she struggled to keep the laces tied due to the wax on the shoe laces. Then on the 23rd of May she showed me that part of the sole of the shoe was flapping. I was in disbelief. With inflation, it was a sacrifice to make this purchase. I also purchased two pairs of crock shoes. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in Footlocker. I am requesting some assistance that I did not receive in store. Good experience again. Needed another pair of ALL BLACK socks. Cause last time I got the all whites... they was out of all whites this time but it's cool. I was confused though, the adult footlocker moved a couple stores down. They have more merchandise and are still practicing Covid protocols. This was by far the nicest shopping experience I have had in a very long time. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by 2 employees. One of them being Andie, approached me, willing to assist me in what I was finding. This store did not have the shoe or size I needed. Andie went the extra mile to call other locations and confirm their inventory. He was able to contact the Hawthorne location ( recently new ) and place my shoes on hold. It was that easy! Really bad customer service!!! I came into the store to buy a Valentines gift for my son, Unfortunately when I got home the shoes did not fit him. I went the next day to return them for a smaller size, as soon as I walked into the store I got approached. I mentioned I came to return the shoes for a smaller size right away the women said no we don't have that shoe size smaller with an attitude. I got upset right away because she didn't even take the time to see what shoes it was. So I came here 10 minutes before they closed, I didn't want to be a bother taking my time looking for the shoes I wanted since it was my first time there, so as soon as I walked in I asked a staff member where can I find the Nike shoes I wanted so he helped me out, it felt like he was in a rush cause they were going to close which didn't bother me much. He looked annoyed because I asked for a black and white colored shoes but he came with a black and grey colored ones. I asked him to get me black and white ones. He came back with the ones I wanted. I payed & left right away because they were going to close. I woke up the next day wanting to put them on to go out & realized that one of my Nike shoes has the Nike logo by the shoelace & the other didn't. I was annoyed that the staff member didn't even check if it was in good condition. I didn't want to go back to this place because they look lazy and uninterested in helping you. I went to South Bay Galleria Mall and let me tell you, they have a great vibe, the staff member helped me exchange my shoes right away.
