I used to love shopping at Nordstrom Rack in the Fox Hills Mall (Westfield Culver City). I've been…read morea loyal customer for years and every visit I'd easily spend $400+ without any issues. Unfortunately, an experience about two years ago completely changed how I feel about this store. During my last visit, I was racially profiled and followed throughout the store by two asset protection employees (one male and one female). I have no idea why I was singled out. Despite being treated that way, I still purchased around $600 worth of items that day. What made it even more upsetting was seeing one of them waiting near the front door as I was leaving, as if they expected me to do something wrong. I even waved and laughed in disbelief because it was so obvious. He stood at the door after following me, once the second person started following me, then left that post after I walked out with my purchased items. What's even more frustrating is that I saw someone else (same ethnicity as the security that were following me) in the store actually stealing items, but because they were so focused on watching me, they completely ignored her. I saw her walk right out the door after stuffing her pockets and purse with stolen items. Unbelievable! That experience was disappointing. I left the store wishing I hadn't spent a dime there. Since then, I've never returned to that location. I even tried shopping at the Nordstrom Rack on Fig at 7th downtown recently, and unfortunately experienced the same thing, being followed around the store. Because of these experiences, I've decided I will no longer shop at Nordstrom Rack or Nordstrom. No customer who is spending their hard-earned money should feel targeted or profiled while simply trying to shop. Prior to the incident where I was followed around the store, I had another frustrating experience at this location. On a previous visit, I purchased clothes and other items. When I walked out, the alarm at the door went off, but another customer was exiting at the same time so I assumed it was related to her purchase. I had two bags of clothes and other items, and didn't notice anything unusual when I quickly checked my bags. About a month later, when I went to wear one of the dresses, I discovered the security sensor was still attached. It was black and blended in with the dress, which is probably why I didn't notice it earlier. I then checked the other clothes and two more dresses that I hadn't worn yet and found that they also still had sensors attached, hidden on the slip of the dress. I returned to the store to have them removed, but initially the staff refused because I didn't have the receipt. Fortunately, I had used my Nordstrom credit card and they were able to look up the purchase and finally remove the sensors. This situation could have been avoided if the employee had properly checked the dresses (since they hide their sensors) before bagging them. These are higher-priced items that typically have sensors attached, so you would think staff would be trained to know where the sensors are placed. But I don't totally blame the staff because they were hidden. Why not make them visible? Why place a black sensor on a black dress? Customers shouldn't have to inspect their purchases for security tags after leaving the store. Goodbye, Nordstroms! It was fun while it lasted.

I have bought about five or six pairs of shoes online during one of their sales and two of them just we're not gonna work out for me. I couldn't find the other pair but I found one pair and I had a half day off today, so I tackled running some errands and I wasn't sure if I had the correct receipt because the packages came in like multiple arrivals and also they look like they were worn when I got them they looked something was wrong right so I put them on I was gonna wear them and I just didn't like how they fit, but I did walk outside of my apartment onto the pavement, and then I walked back so they were worn in that capacity but like worn all day no so I took them back. they were a little bit like they look like they're worn I said guys it's not about the money just give me the credit. I said they came to me. Kind of worn. I got them on sale. They were satisfied with that. I mean, that means I'm gonna buy more shoes right so I was taking care of. It was easy Peezy lemon squeezy and you should stop by. They have a lot of really cute shoes in the sale is really good. I mean I got six pairs of shoes for $230. I mean that's an amazing value.

I ordered three pairs of shoes online. Only one arrived. I called them to inquire about the location of the other two and the rep, while on the phone, emailed me a photo to show they were delivered. I confirmed on the phone at that moment that the picture does not show my apartment, not even my building. They were delivered to the wrong place. The company said they "investigated" and the courier said they were delivered, so they will not send me the two I'm missing, nor will they refund me, and they continue to ignore the fact I have confirmed the delivery photo is NOT MY ADDRESS. The shoes may have been "delivered" but not to my front door, nor my actual building. Look at the photo and decide for yourself. Please note: I don't have a storage locker, there isn't one in my building, this couldn't possibly be me! Per the email in the photograph, I told Keven of WSS then and there, on the phone, that was not my residence, and he said they needed 14 business days to review (that's nearly three weeks), all to tell me they received delivery notice, despite the delivery photo clearly showing it was not delivered to MY ADDRESS! I have contacted them countless times since, and they decided to ignore until today, when they once again tried to tell me they were delivered and the case is closed. So I'm out of money and never received the products. This is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BUSINESS PRACTICE!

He wouldn't give me his name but his co worker let me know his name is Shane. I had an online order so I stood in line to await my turn. I approached Shane, gave him name and then he asked for my order number. He called for someone in the back to look up my order. He then asked that I move to the side while he helped the next customer. I asked him if I would have to get back in line and he said no. So I waited. After a few minutes, Shane said, They didn't have my order. He asked when it was placed. I told him when I placed my order it stated as long as it was placed before 4pm, I could pick up the same day. Shane told me they receive their last orders at noon. Told me to come back the next day. I expressed to him that the items were on the floor and could someone get them for me. He told me to get them or I could go in the front and someone else can help me. This didn't sit well with me because he was trying to dismiss me. I asked again if someone could help. I must have disturbed him with my questions because he then said, "I was being disrespectful". This was news to me because I didn't know requesting help was a sign of disrespect. At this time someone came from the back and stated they "found" my order. I asked the gentlemen if they found the order in the back or on the floor. They confirmed it was in the back. This gentleman started packing my order and asked for my ID. Again being my first time in this store I was unaware I needed to bring an ID. I asked if my email was sufficient, Shane whom was allegedly disrespected earlier said no. I then wanted to cancel my order and just buy it in the store. I asked them to cancel my order. Shane once again said "It's cancelled and you will get your money in 7 days". I tried to look at the receipt but Shane took it away from hand. The experience received in this store was so poor and disappointing. I'm disgusted and will never shop at this location again. I'll be reaching out to the corporate office on Monday. Oh and my order was never cancelled. Terrible Customer Service!
