    Shipped out for repair 15 days after initial drop off at BestBuy/GeekSquad

    Incredibly disappointed with Best Buy and their tech support, Geek Squad. I purchased a Toshiba Class C350 tv on May 9, 2025. Just under two months that tv began to malfunction. I liked the tv and wanted to exchange the broken tv for the exact same one. So, I brought the tv into BestBuy on July 3, 2025 with the intention of getting an exchange. I was told by the cashier that Best Buy policy requires all tvs under 50 inches to be reviewed by Geek Squad, the Toshiba I purchased is 43 inches. The GS representative, Christian informed me that BestBuy policy requires all tvs under 50 inches must be inspected by a GS technician and he would have to keep the tv for two weeks. He quoted me a completion date of July 18, 2025 with a possible two and a half week turn around time of July 23, 2025. In the meantime I purchased the Toshiba tv once more with the intention to return it within the 15 day return period. By July 13 the 2nd Toshiba I purchased malfunctioned in the same manner and I returned it on July 16, prior to the 15 day return policy provided by BestBuy. In the days leading up to my July 16 in store visit I kept checking the status of the repair and it had not changed beyond "check in". The cashier told me the 2nd tv needed to go through GeekSquad repair and I refused. I was well within my 15 return policy. Josh, a GS rep, came to ask why I was returning the tv and I let him know as well as see videos of the tv's defect. After the return I asked Josh if he could give me an update on the repair and he had no information indicating the service center hadn't updated on their end. When I called GS on July 23 Eric told me they had no recor of the tv or repair. A review of the tracker indicated the tv hadn't shipped out to the SC till July 18, 15 days after I had dropped it off. Josh informed me that small items are not tracked and he had no way of knowing where the tv was. It is now July 29 and BestBuy has continued to lack information and accountability.

    I called geek squad from my residence. My laptop camera suddenly stopped working while working. Geek squad tried assisting me over the phone instead of bringing my laptop in. We'll they were unsuccessful. I then scheduled an appointment to bring in my laptop. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment the same day. Come to find out my hardware no longer works for the camera. I can purchase one or replace laptop. At least I have options for now. Thank you best buy

    Had to drive outta my way to pick up a waffle maker that my local Best Buy didn't have in stock. The people here were very helpful and friendly and couldn't ask for a better experience. The waffle maker I bought was a great value on sale for $30 less. Also the location is convenient just off the 405 with plenty of parking

Shout out to Arsen who made our family's experience at the store exceptional tonight. We came in to upgrade our ancient IPhones and initially, we thought he would be like the usual reps who get you the phone you want and then send you out the door a like you're just a number. But as we engaged him in conversation about our phone preferences, we found him to be very knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and transparent. Because of this, we decided that only three of us will stick with the IPhone and one gladly went back to an Android (Google Pixel 10). He answered our questions, laughed with us, and went the extra step to get us the phones right there and then rather than having us wait to get them shipped. He even helped setup the phone that I got. So while we spent a long time at the store , it was all worth it! He gets a five star from each of us. Thank you, Arsen. You may be one of the few reps here who leaves a good impression on your customers. Keep up the great work!

So, I had numerous files on this drive that I wanted to recover. I bought a new drive to hold the files and took both the old drive and the new drive to Westcoast. I explained what I wanted and they provided a rough estimate of the cost that depended on how damaged the old drive was. They would look at the drive to see what the issue was and call me within 3 days. I got the call and luckily the old drive was still accessible so they would be able to transfer the files to the new drive. The cost was less that I expected. I had checked several businesses in the Los Angeles/Orange area and there services were a couple of hundred dollars more for basic data recovery. The new drive has the files and I am glad I found Westcoast. They also repair computers and mobile phones.

My MacBook Pro stopped working out of nowhere. I've had it since it first came out, about six years ago, and everything was on that computer. My businesses. My properties. Student and work-related information. Personal documents. Photos. Things I never backed up because I never imagined something like this would happen. When it stopped turning on, I tried everything. Different chargers. I went to multiple repair places. Geek Squad couldn't help. Apple couldn't help. I made several Apple appointments, walked in early, stayed late, and had multiple employees try. They were kind, but no one could get it to turn on. The light would come on and shut off. One Apple employee even described it as "CPR," like the computer was trying to come back to life but couldn't. Eventually, they told me the computer was basically done and advised me to focus on data recovery. I was devastated. To be completely honest, it caused so much stress that I had to talk through it in therapy. That computer held my life. That's when I found this data recovery company online and met Abraham. From the moment I spoke to him, he gave me something no one else did: hope, without false promises. He calmly explained different scenarios, walked me through possibilities, and told me to give him a few hours. I tried not to get my hopes up. A few hours later, Abraham called me. Not only did he explain what was happening, he texted me pictures of my actual files. When I saw those photos, my heart dropped. I cannot explain the relief. I don't think he truly understands what he did for me in that moment. Abraham didn't just recover my data he brought my computer back to life. On top of that, he advised me to get an external device to safely store everything moving forward. I went out, bought one, brought it back, and he helped me transfer everything. He truly worked with me every step of the way. He kept me updated throughout the entire process. He was patient, professional, honest, and genuinely caring. I never felt rushed, dismissed, or taken advantage of. I felt supported during one of the most stressful tech situations I've ever experienced. If you're reading this and you're stressed, scared, or think all hope is lost go to Abraham. Period. This man didn't just fix a computer. He restored peace of mind. Thank you, Abraham. I will never forget this! I'll be back for tomorrow iPad

She thought she was only going to check out the new models, but realized that they have the color she wanted and it would be relatively easy to operate. Generally we're able to get help very quickly. Sometimes there are long lines during the holidays with sales. One time, I ordered an iPhone in advance and picked it up here. I didn't even have to set an appointment to pick it up. I just went once I received the notice saying it had arrived. Yes, I had to wait a few minutes because there were lots of people picking things up. But once I got my phone, they were very helpful answering questions while I got acquainted with my new device. They've always been very helpful with their support, being able to gear it to my mom, who is, admittedly, not very technologically savvy. Every person has been very patient with her and we always leave satisfied. It's a bonus that Manhattan Village is a relatively nice mall. The other stores here are decent and there are some nice restaurants. There's even a little artificial grass park with a fountain where you'll see lots of families letting their kids play.

And this "date base" of yours is non-existent, you guys didn't even ask for my name or anything beyond my phone number to call me when my phone was ready. Please don't make me a liar here by saying you have no such name on your "data base" and that it was another store that I'm speaking of. I will say this, it's possible that you don't purposely not fix the issue so that the customer can return. So maybe you just don't fix it correctly because of lack of knowledge, idk.... but what I do know is that it wasn't fixed correctly.
