It looks as though they're busy and/or short staffed because there's not much movement in here today and according to the app they sent me to check my place in line I am still in 9th place, which I was later told isn't the same as what they see on their end. I've had issues with my iPhone 17 so I want them to troubleshoot for me. Service at this location has varied from year to year. The last time I was here they had lots of young men doing nothing and not being helpful at all. The folks working here now seem more professional, which I will discover shortly once I get looked after. Fingers crossed. I then received an email that my order was cancelled because the "pick up has expired". I received NO notifications that a pickup was ready. The order status said "order in process". I just went to a regular retail sales store; I wanted to get rid of a business account, that one of my late parents had (with their discontinued/deactivated cell phone number), according to Hawaiian Tel.com. I brought my parents' death certificate and old State IDs. The sales rep was like call *611 (from a Verizon phone) aka a 1-800 customer service hotline. The moment you entered the store, a welcoming atmosphere will follow. Very friendly staffs & are very accommodating as well. We ran to a several Verizon store before here & there is always a problem that can't be solve regarding our plan. Such a frustrating errand to comply. Hiding fees that aren't showed & discuss to us before we decide to switch Verizon. Every month we got this bill that doesn't make sense at all & they can't give us straight answers on what is going to our plan. So goodness we came up to here. We look for a corporate location & we found one closer to where we live. Super convenient! We should have gone in here at the very beginning! Anyhow, I'm super satisfied for the service. Fix the billing problem, & got our right bill the next month. It's not easy though but the customer representative (whom I forgot the name) is so patient & knowledgeable enough to keep everything in control. The store is bigger too. Cleaned & smells good by far. The interior design is a typical service provider business store. And at the time of our visit, they had enough staff to attend their customers. Been a Verizon Customer for 20 plus years. Use to go to the stores because the people there were friendly and customer service was excellent. This was back when they had technical people in the stores. They would help you with any technical setups. Mifi, home internet, and any issues you might have. Then they got rid of the in-store and put them in technical support. Seems now the folks there are flipping phones like I used to flip burgers in Highschool. I went to this location to upgrade my phone and plan. I am an engineer so I ask questions. I really am a heavy phone user. I needed a rugged phone with a large battery capacity and onboard storage. I'm going to purchase a pricey phone that I can rely on for several years. I am speaking to the associate when the manager comes and interrupts the conversation. She says "are you gonna purchase a phone already". I'm like excuse me!!! Who are you!!??? She says..."I'm da manager". I'm in a business suit, she was wearing what looked like pajamas she slept in last night and didn't change for "da work". She threatened to call the Police if I didn't leave the store. Bear in mind I have my wallet in my hand and they have my account history In there iPad. I politely said I've been a loyal customer for 20 plus years. I leave and go home to My Verizon to order my phone and now I can't get a human being on any line or prompt and the webpage is even worse. The call in is an AI disaster and there isn't even a hint of human interaction. It's a load of AI horse manure. Started with technical difficulties and then wondering why the 'cheaper' plan wasn't so cheap - I remember seeing the unlimited welcome at $25 and the unlimited welcome plus at $30. I was quoted $40 instead of $25 and $50 instead of $30. I'm paying $50 already. The guy left me to complete a credit card application and started servicing another customer‍. Check back once and went back to purchasing customer. Checked again after 10 minutes - got his answer and said "okay" and walked away. Back to the other customer. Not even a thank you, have a nice day.‍ Customer service is key, and that is why I purchase unlocked phones. I haven't gone through Verizon to get a new phone in a while. Went to Verizon and switched my family of 4 over from T-Mobile since they have a better deal on 4-5 lines plus they give discounts for first responders and extra fro trade ins. I was rocking an iPhone 6s for years lol and it was doing what a phone is supposed to until my screen popped outta the frame because the battery was going bad and expanding to the point of possibly blowing up in my face. My wife and kids were rocking a Galaxy S9 and LG Aristo 5 lol. Anyways, we got the iPhone 12 Pro (practically free with the trade in and transferring our phone numbers over) and the Samsung Galaxy S20 (all free if you order online). Huge upgrade from the last phones plus the monthly bill was about $15 cheaper than my last provider. Anyways, Pauline, Owen, and Manager, Jake were all amazing with us because we had a ton of questions and they had a lot of patiences. We even witnessed Jake dealing with an irate old lady customer who was yelling and being borderline disorderly. She ended up being walked out of the store and security in the area were helpful. These guys helped us out within 2 days. We parked on the street next to Keeaumoku Walmart, but they also have a parking structure that are open Mon-Fri from what I'm told. read more

He was not helpful at all, seemed like he didnt want to be at work, kept yawning infront of us, had no personality towards me or my mom. And when he finally finished helping me, he took my old phone and walked off without letting me know he was done, never said thank you, or let me know i can leave, never gave me a bag for my new phone, had to grab my own paper work off his computer. So i had to go up to another worker and ask them if he was done helping me because he never said anything. This is the second encounter with an employee who didnt have good customer service. I just switched over to Verizon after being with another carrier for 17 years. Unfortunately the Verizon promo has proven to be a scam with all the fees activation, taxes, and not a good explanation from the "Specialist" who assisted me with switching over. THe specialist was in a hurry, didn't go through the plans clearly and didn't explain the promo very well. As it turned out, my phone started freezing numerous times while doing research, sending emails, and editing presentation material. After continuous frustration of freezing and having to turn the iPad and iPhone on and off I decided to visit Verizon and long story short they told me I've passed the 30 day window. So they suggest that I call the corporate office and of course I've been on hold now for 19 minutes because I explained to them how unhappy I am with the service and I'd like to return all devices and cut plan and of course they tell me I have to pay for everything !!!!! Over 8,000 dollars now is that a promo for real?!!! I was initially calm and now it's elevated to a higher tone as I continue to wait on hold......And I'm Going to file a complaint to the BBB and I can't imagine how many other people have gone through this, and Verizon continues to reiterate that "we have a policy". Well, everyone has a policy, when people are not happy with services we try to resolve, I understand that, but for my resolution I want to return the items and be sure that there is no financial obligation , because they are saying that I have to pay for everything! Again over $8000 for products and service that I am completely unhappy with! Stanley and the other Asia guy working there Saturday night are incapable, rude CLOWNS. I came to the store right before closing time to get help with porting a number over from another carrier to Verizon for my bf. Stanley has done the initial "add a line" setup a week earlier and gave us a Verizon number to call to port the number over. We've tried the number several times over the week AND went to another Verizon store to try port the number over with no success, so I came back to Stanley hoping he can finish what he started. He gave me the shrug and "well that sucks" after I explained to him the time and effort my bf and I spent so far. He then failed to port over the number himself and gave me the "you gotta come back on Monday". I asked him if all he can do is to call the Verizon port center which I can do MYSELF, and he said yes. My bf parked his car and came to the store shortly after 7pm (the store closing hour). The door was closed and I asked the other Asian guy working there to please open it for my bf. He went "when the store is closed it's closed I can't do anything for you". I patiently explained to him I'm here to port over my bf's number so he needs to be in the store. Guy gave me a nasty attitude and insisted he can't unlock the door. After the failure, the guy's refusal to let my bf in, and ALL THE ATTITUDE, I've had enough. I asked Stanley to reverse the "add a line" transaction and get me a refund. He spent another 10 minutes and came back telling me he can't do anything and I need to CALL Verizon. As you can tell from the story so far, they CAN'T DO ANYTHING FOR YOU at this store. As I was leaving I confronted these two people "you should be more apologetic in situations as this as customer service specialists". Guy went "well there is nothing I can do, you can make an appointment to come back on Monday". WTF, you wanna waste MORE of my time?!?! WHAT A BUNCH OF CLOWNS. Walked in today with my husband to upgrade our cellular phone plan since I received a reminder text message to do so. When we entered the store, we were immediately greeted and were asked for our phone number to sign in and state our purpose for this visit. There were 9 people ahead of us but we weren't in a rush and there were so many new Android phones (eh, he likes them) available to try. The wait wasn't longer than 20 minutes when a representative, Reginald, came and got us. Reginald was our service representative who kindly took us through the options for plan upgrade and eligible trade-in savings. He was very thorough in explaining the latest Verizon wireless plan which we received an extra GB of data for LESS money than what we've been paying for, carry-over data for a month to the next, an app which can provide our data usage and a "safe-mode" to prevent overages. We were pleased that Reginald spent about an hour with us while helping my husband get the best possible plan and getting him to upgrade his old DROID Turbo. We've been loyal customers of Verizon for many years because of their wireless coverage on and off-island. Thank you, Verizon! read more

I don't know what everyone's complaining about, but you're going to love this review. Parking: Probably not many options. Me and my brother went to check out the phones at Sam's Club and Walmart before going to Verizon. Hence, our car was parked at Walmart. Service: I couldn't ask for anyone better. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and signed in to be served. 2-3 minutes later, Sia came out and greeted us. Simply put, we needed to find out what our options were since we were adding another line to our plan. He explained that we would have to move to the share everything plan which we already knew because we did our research. However, this did not stop me from taking the iPhone 5 home later that night. Sia was really helpful and although the systems had a technical glitch, he was able to solve the issue through an alternative route. We had some time to chat for a bit about the company, the phones, and some other stuff. It was pretty chill. I think what also helped pass the time while the computers were lagging was this guy busted out the Black Ops II drone and started flying it with his iPhone. We were all just watching him flip that thing. It's unreal how much a $300 toy can make a 30-40 something year old smile. This other guy came bustin' in asking if they had an ipad without contract, but the price wasn't in his range and he bailed out saying, "Ah... I gotta keep tryin'. Imma keep tryin. Thanks!'" -- and I was thinking, "I like the spirit!" Product: The iPhone 5 is pretty awesome. The price is a big hit on the wallet though which is unfortunate. If you ever need to save that extra bit of cash, Walmart and Sam's Club were having sales on their iPhone 5's for $127 w/ 2 year contract (sold out fast). THAT IS EPIC. BUT you won't get the same service as you do here. No way bro. Is the SERVICE worth the extra $70? No. My time was worth the extra $70. I had some problem with prepaid services, and he helped me any way he could. Although prepaid system is not user friendly, because of the good monthly charge, I decided to keep it. Mike was also, a good sales rep, introduced me with different types of products, explained me the benefits and usage of each items very well so I can understand them. I end up buying four items for myself for Christmas, and I am very satisfied with all of them! Although I went in to the store with prepaid service complaints, Mike's positive attitude, effort, and overall wonderful professionalism helped me leaving store with happy feeling. Walked into the Verizon store as my company uses Verizon and they were going to get me a new phone. first of all I was ignored while there were 3 sales people two of which were chatting away with each other. finally I asked the two that were closest to me who were chatting away if they had a Certain Samsung phone he gave me a look like I was bothering him, and proceeded to answer my questions in a condescending way which naturally I thought was uncool for a salesperson. i asked about a newer phone which he snidely remarked we don't have that one and looked back at his coworker ready to continue chatting. With that I had enough and decided to leave the store since talking to each other seemed more important than a customer. I rate this a pretty bad experience and I am happy I am with a different provider for my personal phone I have never been treated like that at my own provider. We've had "okay" to poor service at other locations, but whenever we've come to the Ala Moana location, the salespeople have always been friendly and over the top helpful. Had a problem with a defective screen protector and since I happened to be near this location I went in. Very busy location so wait was a bit long - but in their defense it was during the holidays. One of the managers (Che) was attentive and checked people in promptly and ended up assisting me. Friendly staff here from observing during my wait. It's so spacious they should put in a coffee bar.. LoL Unfortunately the protector is not adhering to one side of my screen even after he said to give it a few days (it's been a couple of weeks) so I think I will have to take it back for replacement. read more

Shayna is the best customer rep I have interacted with in recent memory..anywhere! Exemplary customer service. I did not want a new phone, but I needed one. I am a tech-dinosaur and have little knowledge about smartphones. I got there at 9:45 am Saturday, there was a reasonable line. At 10:00 a nice, friendly guy rep took names and info questions, the line moved in a timely and organized manner. I can't say enough about Shayna; she was patient with me, informed, friendly, not pushy....I got the feeling other customer service reps way above average. The place is set up for covid, it's very comfortable and spacious. I was a bit nervous to go to this location because of past negative reviews, but once I got there and interacted with staff, my mind was put at ease.
