I was a Tmobile customer for a long time. Switched over to AT&T and it has been one of the worst decisions of my entire life. Crappy service, slow data, nickle and dimed for everything. Poor customer support on the phone and I always need to go into a store after speaking to a rep for over an hour. If you are thinking of switching carriers be warned!!! AT&T is horrible. I am locked in for 36 months and I dont want anyone else to have to suffer through what Im going through. If you travel internationally, their roaming plan sucks. If you prefer apple care and want insurance, it is very different from Tmobile. I am only able to do a group insurance that covers only a couple phones at a time. It CRAP. No apple care. I highly discourage the switch to AT&T. read more

Mark, the manager at this location treated me with respect, professionalism, and solidified why I will always be an AT&T customer. Super terrible customer service. Specifically the girl, her name is Agnes. I came to the store for cancel a phone line from my family plan that I registered over 14 years. She never greeting and no smile. Once she heard I wanted to cancel a line she was impatient. They just focus on selling business and getting commission. Terrible service that they don't know what is a long term relationship for royalty clients. I'm planning to change my whole plan to different companies. Over the nearly 20 years I've spent as an AT&T customer, a visit to this store was probably the best customer service experience I've had with the company. I originally stopped by to speak with a representative because there was an issue with some charges on my cellphone bill and online support could not assist. Agnes was the representative that assisted me and was excellent. She actually listened to my situation after I spent an hour and a half speaking to online support with no resolution and she, along with her manager Mark, was able to get my billing issues resolved. I would 100% return to this store for any other services I'd need. I also like the location of this one; not as busy as the Ala Moana location and there's lots of parking out back. Tip: You're able to schedule an appointment online ahead of time if you're pressed for time; I scheduled an appointment for 1:00 PM and was checked in and with a representative in under five minutes. read more

So... decided to make the drive passing around 3 AT&T stores, from my house... to this location near NBC. The service was so superior than the pervious location yesterday. We had an appointment, but arrived around 15 mins early, they took us in and gave service so superior that we decided for our whole family to choose this location as primary. At first, I tried to resolve my problem, which is unlocking my old inactive phone, calling AT&T customer service and spent over 30 minutes. I ended up going to the store and Patrick was very patient and helpful. He tried every way possible to help me. I left the store, still with my locked phone, but I am not as frustrated because I know Patrick did everything he can. I live just few blocks from Kahala AT&T store and closer to Kapahulu, even Ala Moana, but I always go back to this store since I consistently get best service here. Took my 95-years-young Aunty here for help with her new 5G cell phone, and Earvin was the absolute best! He was so patient, kind and provided attentive care with clear explanations on what he could do to help resolve the situation. He even took the time to show us how she could save more each month by switching to a pre-paid plan (since she doesn't need much data) and capped off our time there by walking us to the door and graciously holding the door open for Aunty who was walking slowly with her cane. Very helpful in getting my new iPhone. The trade in process was very easy. Make sure you bring your Identification card so they can look up your info. It's usually not busy around opening and in the evening time. Best thing to do is schedule an appointment if you can. Besides phones, they do have phone accessories. As always, useless! I needed to activate a SIM card because I decided to try out a cheaper plan - as cheap as T-Mobile is, the reception as everyone knows is spotty unless you're in an uncovered area. My employer is on the first floor of a cement castle. So as you know, not the best.. When I received the SIM card, I went online per the directions and was told it was activated but it wouldn't register on my iPhone. I called the AT&T store to avoid going in if it was futile, and was told to come in as they can assist. An African American gentleman helped me, didn't get a name as they don't wear name tags, and was useless. No viable options, no customer-centric focus, and just wanted me out. What a joke! I so regret getting this! At least T-Mobile offers Netflix! read more

I walked into a very quiet store. There were others who also seemed to be waiting for help. Only one sales associate was visible, and he was in a conversation with a customer. I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted to buy an iPhone. But after 15 minutes, there was still no progress. Another sales associate did emerge, and he helped a couple who had been waiting. An elderly lady was standing around. I asked her if there was a sign in, and she said yes. She pointed to a screen with her name on it, but said I'd have to interrupt one of the two sales associates to get my name on the list. I never got my name on the list. I walked out after 20 minutes without a phone. I figured if I wanted to be ignored and get bad service, I could just go to the Apple store. Which is exactly what I did. read more

I have been with AT&T for decades even before cell phones. A couple of months ago I needed a new phone and happily trotted down to the store. I am 77 years old and not a tech wizard. AT&T has always been lovely and helping me out. On that particular day, a woman greeted me and said "we don't have very many phones right now "I was a palled, but said that I wasn't looking for the newest model or anything like that. Then she informed me that they would not help me with transferring my data or basically anything else. She told me to go online. She was rude, the experience was terrible, and I immediately transferred from the service that I've been using in Hawaii for 31 years and in California before that . I transferred to T-Mobile where they did everything for me the way AT&T used to. read more

I have to say that I've had very hit or miss customer service when it comes to AT&T. About a week before coming into this store, I went to AT&T's Pearl City location for some help with a service issue and the person who helped us was not friendly at all. I was so frustrated that I wanted to drop my AT&T service altogether. On a whim, I decided to try to get help at this AT&T store before going into work. I was helped by an associate named Tyace who was very friendly and very patient--he gave detailed explanations for each question I had and was just so helpful overall. I ended up keeping my AT&T service for now thanks to Tyace. I really hope the company knows how helpful he is. On a logistical level, this should have been my go-to AT&T store. It's so conveniently located near downtown and the parking lot behind the store is so easy and convenient. Checked in, waited patiently for my turn in line. While I was there, they allowed a guy to come in with a mask under chin. When it was my turn to be helped, I noticed they did nothing to sanitize the seats or table that I was called to after the people before me used. When asked how I can be helped, told Mason I was interested in a particular phone. He went and checked and said they don't have it but he can order it in about a week. Asked about upgrade options and was told what the options were. He said I would be charged the full amount of the phone and I'd get credit for the trade-in. Asked if I had to pay for the full amount of the phone, he said "that's what I said". I asked about monthly payment options, again he said "that's what I said, it's the full amount of the phone over 30 months". 2 different statements. Then he says the monthly payments would roughly whatever the amount of the phone is, less the trade-in, divided by 30, whatever that comes out to. Basically I wasted time and didn't want to deal with people that aren't there to help customers. If I wanted approximate prices, I can do that in my head. AT&T usually has good customer service. I walked into an AT&T store today and was helped by the kindest young man with THE most amazing customer service. His name is Andre Facey and I'm SO glad that he helped me today. I've been having issues with my phone charging and he found a charger that wasn't on it's last leg and actually worked lol. He was funny, charismatic and made the entire visit just an all around pleasure! It's hard to find people like this in customer service who possess such EFFORTLESS charm and customer service. I come to this location because it's usually not busy. This time I came here to do some changes to my service. My associate that assisted me was Earvin P., he is informative and great. He answered all my questions, he guided me on how to work family sharing, able to discuss with me the best promotion, provided suggestions on the questions I had, and was able to find me additional discounts (work discount)(he broke the down the numbers, and for me that is great because that is how understand). Lastly, he was able to let me know the solution to deactivating an account, since I had a special situation that no one else could assist me with. I'm definitely going to come back here, I definitely found a rep that I trust! Best part when I would text him he would respond in a timely manner. This was related to restoring the phone. Thank you! My experience here was really bad, -I actually just walked in with no appointment, was helped right away, by Syd or Sid. -I wanted to purchase a new phone in full, and to also pay off the prior phone I had. So he did all that, I also felt like I was being rushed. I also purchased a screen protector and case, he didn't even apply the screen protector well, there was a couple bubbles and he said to keep applying pressure and it'll go away, and if it doesn't he said to come back in and he'll give me a new one. (Keep in mind this was a day before I went on a 2 month trip of of the country) -the air bubbles didn't go away, and it's partially covering my earpiece whole at a certain volume you can here the protector buzzing. So I was all good to go, went on my trip, during my trip I had a call from my mom saying that she can't purchase a new phone cuz there's no insurance! Yes! He took out our insurance on all of the phone lines. I'm really upset, and my screen protector is much more worse than what it was. If you want a higher chance of getting good customer service go elsewhere. I do not recommend to come here, unless they do something to make things right on their part. If there was a zero star rating I'd rate it a negative zero. read more

I just had a very good experience at this AT&T Store with Earvin. Yelp Reviews once again proved useful as I saw other reviews that were positive about this store and it's sales associates/business experts, I was able to get an appointment with Earvin. He was knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Earvin made the process of upgrading from an IPhone 11 to an IPhone 12, a pleasant experience. I also appreciated that he installed a screen saver that I brought with me, even though I was open to purchasing one if mine did not fit my new phone. Earvin could have easily just sold me one in the store. He patiently explained everything from the features of my new phone to how my purchase would reflect in my monthly billing. He also transferred all the data from my old phone to my new one. I never felt rushed or pressured. I will definitely be back to this AT&T store and I highly recommend going here. Parking is available and the vibe of this store is very friendly (from my observation of the interaction between staff and other customers). As a senior citizen, it's really nice when you feel you are treated honestly. I'm always apprehensive when buying a product I have very little knowledge of, like a new IPhone. I was here to return two damaged tablets that I ordered through AT&T which they shipped using FedEx. Upon delivery, I opened the boxes and discovered that one tablet was fully destroyed and both tablets were missing the accessory keyboard. Customer care instructed me to take both devices in their boxes to the nearest AT&T store to have them take it back and help with ordering new ones. I arrived and spoke to two employees there. One of them was an associate whose name is Kelley and this guy is useless, showed no care to my concerns and never said anything. The manager, Michael Davis was somewhat helpful up until the point where he commented that ATT is not responsible for damaged devices during shipment and that I, the customer needs to initiate a claim with FedEx. Bullshit. Nonetheless, I left after waiting two hours for nothing. They obviously didn't know what to do, it's horrible sending your customers away with broken devices. I later called another AT&T location and tweeted @attcustomercare, they confirmed that they should have handled my devices and taken them back. Michael Davis has still yet to contact me, as he promised to do so. I followed through with my word by emailing him my contact information and scanned copies of my invoice and packing slips. After visiting this AT&T store, I refuse to return to this location due to their unprofessional service and lack of training to help their customers. Two stars for the lack of proper service. Of all the times I've had to visit an at&t store, why haven't I gone to this one?! My husband has always used this as his primary store for any of his wireless needs. I always went to the kamehameha shopping center one. It just seemed convenient for me while living in kalihi, even if I sometimes received bad service there. Anyway, when my husband went from his iphone to a htc one, it also inspired me to get an android os based phone so I started my research. I liked the htc one, but only because it had front-facing speakers. I liked the samsung note when it first came out so I read up on the 3, watched videos and asked my coworker who had it. When I was pretty set on getting it, i told my husband we could go to pick up my new phablet. Kris is the guy who took care of my husband when he got his phone & ended up assisting me on my first visit (I had to return). He was awesome; knowledgeable, easy to talk to & definitely not pushy. I had the intention of selling my iPhone back, but didn't back it up or anything so I couldn't go any further that night. I did receive all the info I needed from him. It's a shame I couldn't give him the sale. I went back the next day and some other dude helped me. He was a bit aggressive & attempted to get me to change my plan to a slightly cheaper one where I'd lose my unlimited data. He was persistent, but of course I declined over and over again. I don't think any one at&t customer in their right mind would give up their unlimited plan. Anyway, all that matters is I got what I wanted! Don't visit this location. They will try and swindle you into unnecessary upgrades to your plan and omit details that could completely change your current plan. Also they outright refused to allow us to buy a phone in full to replace a broken one for an already existing line. Claiming that paying for a phone in full is not possible and they only offer monthly installment plans. Turns out that's a COMPLETE LIE! Be warned about this location and go elsewhere. read more
