Very sad that they closed....they provide such great and convenient service!…read more I rented portable Wifi a couple of times, and it is really convenient to just pick it up before my trip, then after I return, to drop it off... No need to fret about wondering, "gee, I hope my wifi unit was delivered okay to the first hotel I'm staying at and it is waiting for me..." Also it is nice to have wifi when catching transportation from the airport to the 1st hotel, to see where the driver (or train) is going, and if it going in the right direction!!! Dang...hope another company decides to offer this service in Waikiki in the future...

I prefer to get my pocket wifi before leaving for my trip so I dont have to worry about it once landing. I usually book online and get a phone confirmation. Pick up is a day before your trip at their Waikiki location. The only hard part is their pick up location, but if you bring a friend with you to wait in the car, it should be fine - or you could grab a bite in the Waikiki shopping plaza since you're already driving there! The wifi itself is easy to use. They explain to you when you pick up, but its all pretty self explanatory. The battery lasted pretty much the whole day if fully charged and is small enough to carry around with you all day without adding extra weight. You can return the wifi when you get back to Hawaii on the departures floor after getting your luggage. Would highly recommend booking for your next Japan trip!

One of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a very long time. The amount of time I…read morehad to sit around waiting was absolutely ridiculous. I understand that businesses get busy and that unexpected issues happen, but there is absolutely no excuse for leaving customers waiting this long with little to no communication. At a certain point, you start wondering if anyone actually cares that you're there. You make the effort to come in, set aside your time, and wait patiently, only to sit there watching the clock while nothing happens. If there is going to be an extremely long wait, the least Spectrum can do is be upfront about it and communicate with customers instead of leaving them completely in the dark. What makes it even more frustrating is that customers are essentially forced to waste a huge portion of their day just to get basic assistance. People have jobs, appointments, families, errands, and other responsibilities. Our time matters too. Spectrum shouldn't expect customers to simply sit around indefinitely because their system or staffing can't keep up with demand. I honestly cannot understand how this is considered acceptable customer service. Waiting an unreasonable amount of time should not be treated as normal, especially when customers are paying for the service in the first place. Spectrum needs to seriously rethink how it handles customers and wait times. Better staffing, better communication, and a basic level of respect for customers' time would go a very long way. I left this experience feeling completely frustrated and disappointed. The service itself is one thing, but customer service is a huge part of the overall experience. When a company makes you feel like your time means absolutely nothing, it makes you seriously question why you're giving them your business in the first place. Do better, Spectrum. Customers deserve better than this.

Poor customer support on the phone and I always need to go into a store after speaking to a rep for over an hour. If you are thinking of switching carriers be warned!!! AT&T is horrible. I am locked in for 36 months and I dont want anyone else to have to suffer through what Im going through. If you travel internationally, their roaming plan sucks. If you prefer apple care and want insurance, it is very different from Tmobile. I am only able to do a group insurance that covers only a couple phones at a time. It CRAP. No apple care. I highly discourage the switch to AT&T.

I originally purchased the case at the Ala Moana location. Before I left, I specifically asked the employee who helped me if I could return it at ANY location without the account/contract holder being present. He clearly told me YES, any store could process the return. I went to the Kahala location first and was told, "Sorry, you can't return this here." So I then drove all the way to the Kapahulu location just to make this simple return. When I walked into the Kapahulu store, there were THREE employees working, and not one of them acknowledged me for at least 20 minutes. No "Hi," no "We'll be right with you," nothing. I just stood there waiting while being completely ignored. When someone was finally available, Kaylee helped me. I explained that I simply needed to return the phone case. Without even checking anything, she immediately told me she couldn't return it without the contract holder's ID. I explained that I purchased the case separately. Then suddenly the reason changed -- now she said she couldn't refund me because there was a discount on it. At that point, it honestly felt like I was just being given excuse after excuse and the runaround because she simply did not want to process the return. She made absolutely no effort to even TRY to help until it turned into an argument. And after arguing for several minutes, what happened? Kaylee simply ran my card and processed the refund. That was it! So clearly it COULD be done the entire time. I cannot believe I had to drive to multiple locations, stand around for 20 minutes without even being acknowledged, be given multiple excuses, and then ARGUE with an employee just to get a simple refund that ultimately took seconds to process. PLEASE, some customer service! A simple "Let me see what I can do" would have gone a long way. Customers should not have to ARGUE with employees just to get them to attempt to help. Absolutely terrible and disappointing experience.

The next morning, I Yelped T Mobile and found this to be the nearest store. Parked at Long's, we were unaware of the store location so I went to the information kiosk to ask. It was a bit of a trek, especially since the store was near where we originally parked. With one set of escalators out of service, it took a little under ten minutes to make our way here. When we arrived, all of the staff were busy with customers. One gentleman greeted me and told me that I would be next despite seeing two people sitting at opposite ends of the entrance. It turned out both were waiting for their friend or relative who were already being helped. A few minutes later, Dante introduced himself and asked me what I needed. Describing the situation and my friend's phone information, he started working on the phone. A few minutes later, he asked me to call the number and the problem persisted as it went directly to voicemail. We tried again unsuccessfully tinkering with the phone. He excused himself and walked to his work station. When he returned, we tried again and this time it worked. We tried it again once more to confirm there were no more issues. Thanks to T Mobile for having store locations and Dante and our greeter in making our visit fruitful and seamless.
