Verizon store inside of Kahala Mall. Due to Covid-19, you must wait outside until a Verizon representative comes out to assist you.

Bu-loop! Bu-loop! Bu-loop! As I layed down to sleep, all of a sudden I kept hearing a - "Ba-loop! Ba-loop! Ba-loop!" What was that sound? Why it was my phone that was on my phone charger, and that sound usually happens when I first put my phone on the charger to charge up. Now the real question is - "why was my phone repeatedly making that noise???" Especially since I just put it on the charger before I went to bed....... After a few more - "Ba-loop's", I just couldn't stand the noise anymore so I got off my bed, and walked back into the room where my phone was being charged. At first, I thought something was wrong with my new phone, but after I touched my phone charger, my charger was on FIYAH!!!! Oweeee!!! That's what happened when I touched the HOT phone charger to disconnect the charger from the electrical outlet! Well, that charger went straight into the trash can, and that's how I ended up at the Verizon store inside of the Kahala Mall shopping center da next day. What can I say about my experience shopping at Verizon? Safe, and very good customer service! The discount on my phone charger was just a bonus! Kinda like puttin' da cherry on top of my custard pie! :D So here's how it works during Covid-19 times......... As I arrived at the Verizon store (they are located just across from T&C Surf - Town & Country Surf), you can't just enter the store. You must wait outside until a Verizon representative comes out to assist you. I guess they are doing this to limit how many customers can go into the establishment at once, due to capacity limits during Covid-19 times. A good thing, as it keeps everyone safe! The clerk that helped me (darn, I forgot to get his name) was very helpful in assisting me on finding the charger I was looking for. As a bonus, I got the charger for 1/2 off! Can we say "DEALAGES Yo!" After picking up my charger, the friendly clerk guides me to this kiosk machine, and I just make my payment via credit card to this machine. I get my receipt, and BOOM! I'm out da door like a flash! What a wonderful shopping experience! Should I need something else in the near future, I'll be sure to head back to this Verizon store!

My concern remains with the overall troubleshooting approach. Multiple technicians quickly blamed my personal router, even though the outage started immediately after Hawaiian Telcom removed my TV Advantage package. The fix ultimately came from Hawaiian Telcom's side, not mine. They needed to clear the MAC address. Hopefully, future support does not default to "customer-owned equipment" before fully checking recent service changes. A less tech-savvy customer could have been without internet for days. Thank you Ms Maria O. for the robotic response/offer to provide assistance. I'll consider the issue closed.

We had a sales guy come to each one of our doors at Makakilo Gardens. Said he could install fiber…read moreoptic for faster internet and that everyone was doing it . So we switched over. Sales rep said he would schedule a day. We agreed and said weekends. Within a week, technician came, he just started working, didn't even acknowledge us. Where was the communication saying you were coming down? To make it even worse he left a big roll of the fiber optic line, I told him I just had it fixed where nothing was sticking out, and my other half told the guy we aren't suppose to have anything mounted on our walls because of HOA violation. He still mounted it on the wall and left a big roll of fiber optic hanging on my wall like we ghetto or something. Couple weeks later another technician came and left our swing chair all the way out and I thought that was weird. Next thing I know I have two @#$&!!! Boxes on my dam wall. Now I know why he left a big ass roll. Unbelievable . ALL UNITS ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE ONE BOX EACH. Now my walls get two !!!!!!! F $&@! Bull $&@!. I left it because it is not my neighbors fault . We called customer service and these mutha $&@ wanted to charge us for redoing it?!!!!! Even though the technician knows that it's wrong , just try walking in the back of all our units. All UNITS HAVE 1 f$&@! Box. believe within the company there is no communication, no guidance for technicians (or proper training) , no customer service, etc. I give this nice lady this though, we called once and she was very apologetic and said to return the box and keep the line. But what about the other box mounted next to ours ???!!! No body fixed it yet. We gave them this whole month to come down. No one came. We called a second time and that's when they said they want to charge us to get it re routed to our neighbors ??? Guess what June 24, 2026 still f$&@@@@@ there. I had enough of this bull $$$$&&&&&@@@@ . Don't go with Hawaiian Telcom. I guess I gotta be stuck with two mutha f$$$&&@@??? Boxes on my wall. I had my other half mount the two boxes on the brick walls instead of the wall to our unit . Still yet YOUR TECHNICIANS COULDVE DONE BETTER. Shall I even talk about how they be parking in any kind parking stalls when we have home owners that park in specific spots. I gotta tell them not once but twice to move their truck even if they aren't working on my unit ?? Do better. Better yet fix this problem . (AND NO I DON'T WANT TO BE PAST AROUND ON THE PHONE, NEED SOMEONE LOCALLY TO FIX THIS) Side note: The picture below is proof that technician left a big roll hanging on my wall . A must when traveling to Japan. Vision Mobile offers affordable pocket wifi rentals which make it…read moreeasy in Japan. I prefer to get my pocket wifi before leaving for my trip so I dont have to worry about it once landing. I usually book online and get a phone confirmation. Pick up is a day before your trip at their Waikiki location. The only hard part is their pick up location, but if you bring a friend with you to wait in the car, it should be fine - or you could grab a bite in the Waikiki shopping plaza since you're already driving there! The wifi itself is easy to use. They explain to you when you pick up, but its all pretty self explanatory. The battery lasted pretty much the whole day if fully charged and is small enough to carry around with you all day without adding extra weight. You can return the wifi when you get back to Hawaii on the departures floor after getting your luggage. Would highly recommend booking for your next Japan trip!

Visions Mobile Hawaii is still my go-to to get pocket WiFi for Japan. We booked another pocket wifi…read morefor our trip to Japan earlier this year and we appreciate how we were able to booked without placing a down payment for a reservation. The pocket WiFi was different from what we used before. It was newer, thinner, and lighter. The only downside was that there's no indication on how much battery is left. You need to scan the QR code sticker on the back of the pocket WiFi and the status will be shown on your phone. It is a little inconvenient and the website to show the status was pretty wonky and in Japanese. Regardless, the WiFi was good. The signal was great when we were visiting major cities such at Tokyo and Osaka. There was an issue with connecting when we first arrived but we reset the WiFi using the paper clip pin provided in the bag. The bag included instructions, paper clip, and charger. Overall, the WiFi signal is not perfect but it is good enough to last your whole trip in Japan without any major issues. It lasted about little over 10 hours on a full charge. The pocket WiFi is convenient and pretty affordable to share among 5 people without having slow data.

If I could rate this company with zero I would. DO NOT ENGAGE with this company. Run away. They…read moretalk a good story but implementation and service is the worst I have experienced in 30 years in business. The call the center is in the Philippines. When you need local help you need to go through layers of "so-called" offsite help. When you need a tech to be onsite especially when doing the cutover. They told us you can do it yourselves. That didn't work and now they are sending a tech over since our phone service still doesn't work when we asked several times for a tech to be onsite. It has taken us over a month from porting to still not having phone service. Their solution is that you have to buy more services which then takes LONGER to implement. I get companies are enamored with saving money with outsourcing, but at the end you end up losing clients with the crappy service. Wake up ServPac. We are trying to help local companies, but you need to step it up!

It's actually written in big letters, but it says 5 years in a smaller letter font in the order sheet. After 4 years in their contract, we had to cut costs during this hard pandemic situation and we are down sizing and wanted to terminate the contract. But they are still asking an early termination fee over $1800. No other communication company recently is asking for a 5 year contract. It's sad... In addition, they raised the monthly fee from $136.07 on the contract to $146.31 without any notice. It is automatic pay from my checking account, so nothing I can do.

Luxury electronics…read more.. IQ Gadgets is located in the International Marketplace on the second level overlooking the center grassy courtyard which one of favorite location of this mall. First thing you see are the giant bougie massage chairs and there already was a couple shopping in there that seem to have an interest in a product which of course has the salesperson very focused in a positive note I got to browse at my leisure as he basically didn't blink as I was walking around. With that I never got a greet or much attention and that didn't really bother me as I seriously was looking at some of their products which what seems to be majority targeting to the smart phone accessories...with chargers, headphones, car mount and battery cases. As I browsed further I came to realize a couple items I've seen at a craft/product show and have purchased a charger only for it to stop charging like it originally did and it wasn't cheap. As my older phone can't handle a day without a good charge I was talked into a product only for it to shop working and am sad but learned the hard way but hope that other products are good but I'm not willing to risk it.
