I would never take my phone or laptop to this guy ever again. My phone was bent, so the screen and housing needed replacement. I had given him all of the parts he needed to perform the repair, but he insisted on using my NEW screen with my DAMAGED housing. He actually had the nerve to charge me full price when explicitly not following my directions. The replacement housing was not used. A waste of money. I gave him a second chance (out of convenience) to repair my laptop screen. He took two weeks to order the part. He also took another 2 weeks to follow up with me. Not only did he buy the wrong part, he told me that a big chip in the corner of the screen was "glue". It wasn't. The lcd did NOT fit and the laptop did NOT close properly. Frustrated after a month of waiting, I gave him his "salvage yard" screen back and left with my laptop. I went home, ordered the correct part, and completed my laptop repair on my own. I'll give credit where credit is due. My phone has a new screen, but it is still bent out of shape due to him using the old housing. read more

I spilled a mason jar of water on my Mac book air my laptop immediately shut off after I was done freaking out I found ray on fb and brought in my laptop for diagnosis. He said there was a 50/50 chance my laptop would work. I bought a loaner from him while he worked on my laptop. After two days of patience and praying he let me know that my laptop is dried out is working but the battery is fried (expected that) he replaced the battery and my laptop was back to normal!!! I have been taking my computers/laptops to Ray for a while now. He definitely knows what he's doing and has very fair pricing. This most recent visit to his place totally has me convinced of this. My old ASUS Zenbook was no longer useable because the AC port broke which prohibited me from being able to charge it. I contacted ASUS and they said it would cost almost $300 to fix and in turn recommended that since it was several years old, I should just purchase a new laptop which I eventually did. When I got my new laptop, I wasn't able to transfer any of my music from iTunes (because it wasn't purchased music). I took it to Best Buy (since I bought my new laptop from them) and asked them if they could retrieve the music and do a data transfer. The Geek Squad said that because it had an SSD versus a regular HD, they were unable to do it. I thought all hope was lost until I called Ray. He said to just bring it in as he had a special tool to do the job. When I brought it in, it proved a little harder than he anticipated. He told me to leave the old laptop and he'll research it. About a week or so later, he contacted me and said he had everything on a thumb drive. I brought my laptop down and he transferred all the data to my new laptop within about five minutes! Ever since I moved into my new apartment, the wifi on my HP laptop kept dropping off. After a frustrating phone call to the HP customer service, I called Ray at Agile because his office was nearby. He was able to fix the problem in about 10 minutes and refused payment. He just told me to remember him next time I had a computer issue. Ray is a great computer guy to get know if you're living in the Kaimuki area. I think Ray's main business is on-site IT assistance, but at his office, he also sells, services, and repairs laptops. He probably has 150 laptops lying around... quite a scene. I actually got a laptop from him as well. I'm pretty keen with computers, but I have an issue with indecision (I had been spending hours on Amazon and had tried out all laptops at Best Buy). So, I went to his office on 12th Avenue, told him my needs, and he pulled a couple suitable ones from his library of refurbished laptops. Granted, these aren't the latest systems and it's not new hardware, but they're inexpensive (especially Windows laptops), perfectly fine for work, and I can just use them until I feel like I want a new laptop. He also provides a warranty for them, because they are refurbished after all. Parking: you can park in that big lot inside the 12th avenue block. A couple of months ago, my boyfriend dropped his laptop and the screen was completely broken. You couldn't see anything on the screen but cracks, and the joint that holds the keyboard and screen together was damaged. My boyfriend gave them a call and was able to bring the laptop down the same day so they could get a look at it. They told us it was repairable but it would take about a week for parts. A week later, the laptop was as good as new. I was hesitant at first to give a rating because I wanted to make sure the computer was still working weeks later. My Macbook Pro stopped holding a charge and became very slow. I took it to Apple and they cleaned it up (removed unnecessary data/apps), and told me they could repair it, but would cost a lot (almost the same as a new Macbook). They mentioned I could go to an unauthorized repair center to repair it for less than they would charge. It worked well (enough) after they cleaned it, so I decided not to get it repaired; however, this only lasted about 1 month. I decided I may as well look up options for other places to get it repaired besides Apple. Agile had a great rating, and with only 18 reviews. After reading the reviews, I decided to take it there. When I got there Ray listened to what was wrong, looked at my battery, software, and memory, and gave me an idea of how much it'd cost ($140 to revert my OS, transfer data, tighten my hinges, and check the battery connection-extra $50 if the battery needed to be replaced). He told me he could have it fixed at the earliest tomorrow, at the latest 2 days. I got a text at about 4 hours later saying he was done, the battery needed to be replaced, and he gave me rush service. At pick up, I mentioned the $10 for $20 deal on Yelp, and he gave me a choice of that, or 2 portable chargers. I have a lot of portable chargers, so decided to take the discount, and he still gave me 1 portable charger! I paid cash, and when I told him he could keep the coins, he insisted that I take it because it was good to have for meter parking. Ray was very nice and professional. He explained everything he thought he'd have to do for me, and why he thought that would be best. I can honestly say I trust that he knew what he was doing, and I didn't feel taken advantage of at all. I thought I'd have to pay around $500, and I wouldn't have my Macbook for at least a couple days to a week. The price and turn around time was awesome! If I ever have problems with my Macbook again I know where I'll go, and I'll definitely recommend him to others!! read more

I recommend going to another place to service your computer. I had to call multiple times as my messages were not returned. After about a week, I finally got a call back and brought my computer in. I was told it would only take a day or two and it ended up taking almost 2 weeks by the time I got my computer back. The problem wasn't fixed and I still had to pay! Brought my computer to this computer repair shop in Kaimuki. Ray the owner was so helpful. Apparently my Windows was updated to Windows 10 from 7 without my knowledge. Lost my bookmarks on Firefox. Had over 100 of them. Ray was able to retrieve them and reload back into my current window. He's a lifesaver. I plan to try to use Windows 10 for a while and see how it goes. Amazing experience - above and beyond. ' My computer has never crashed before. I was working in Waikiki and I had a huge project due on the mainland when my computer crashed and was wholly unresponsive (time on many levels was not on my side). In a panic, I yelped to find someone that could save me from this worst-case scenario. I had an unfortunate first encounter with another business; thank goodness for that is how I found Ray. I called Agile Computing Services and informed them of my situation. They had great customer service and genuine care which translated into the best moral support during a high-stress situation. Ray welcomed me to his shop and found an immediate solution to ensure I met my deadline. He extracted my must-needed files and sent to me via email. He copied my hard drive on a new external HD and lent me a computer to finish my work at home while he looked to repair my laptop. My macbook pro laptop was dropped and the screen blacked out. I went to best buy and apple but was told they would need to send the laptop out to the mainland for repair. I am leaving for a trip in a week and needed my laptop by then so there was no way that I had time to send my laptop out to the mainland. I decided to do a little more research and look for a local company and heard about Ray through a friend. I am so glad that I took my laptop to him. He was very accommodating with his hours and I took my laptop to him the same day that I called him. Ray first took a look at the laptop and did everything he could to repair the issue from the exterior of the laptop. He was not able to repair the issue externally and needed to open the back of the laptop to determine if it was an internal problem. In the worst case scenario, Ray mentioned that I would have to replace my entire screen which could be very expensive. Ray needed a couple of days to diagnose the problem. He called me in two days and fixed my laptop! I paid a reasonable price for his services and I am extremely happy with his customer service and knowledge of computers.
