After my first interaction with Mobile IT Force, everything seemed great - hence my previous 5-star review. However, since then it's been all downhill. They had supposedly fixed my computer camera, but when the issue returned soon after, I contacted the company again. However, they did not respond. It wasn't until after I submitted a poor review to the manufacturer, Lenovo, that Mobile IT Force got back in touch with me to fix the problem. They supposedly fixed the problem again, but the problem returned. That seems like a problem with thoroughness. At that point I decided to just buy an external camera. I work from home and only have one computer, so to have to take my computer into the shop for repairs and not be able to work while it's in the shop is quite costly for me.
I'm not sure why I went back to Mobile IT Force when my battery started draining too quickly, but I have an extended warrantee from a third party. I guess I figured I'd support a small business. Sadly, communication has been poor, and my problem is not fixed. I scheduled an appointment two weeks after a replacement battery arrived because I need my computer for work. I cleared two days of meetings so that I wouldn't need my computer, which I previously explained. However, half an hour after dropping my computer off, I got a call that they just realized that the battery they had was defective. They had two weeks to check the new battery, but didn't do so. And the only diagnosis they gave me is: it's not the battery. And they still didn't figure out what the actual problem is. Again, seems like a problem of thoroughness. I was charged $85 for a diagnosis that's not really a diagnosis. The owner took 15% off what was supposed to be $100, so I guess they got that going for them.
I rarely ever give 1-star reviews, but I'm so frustrated with poor service. I will not be returning to Mobile IT Force, and I will probably not be buying a Lenovo again because Mobile IT Force is the only place nearby that services Lenovo warrantees. read more
