Our first interaction was very helpful and he got me quoted pretty decently and had a set price for the rebuild. From there, he helped me order the right parts and took me step by step to doing a PC rebuild to make sure everything works and none of my data was lost. The parts came in and Korey came and picked all the parts up and began the rebuild, taking me step by step through the process. Communication was Excellent and he sent photos of the assembly. Korey did an awesome job with this rebuild, entire setup was clean, cables were very organised, and he gave me specs and even offered advice on how to make the rebuild more efficient. He delivered the PC back to my house and the rest was history. Highly recommend Korey for all your PC needs. He really knows his stuff.

The value of the work is incredible--I expected to pay an arm and a leg, but it genuinely feels like I received more than I could have asked for. One star -- unclear charges, inadequate explanation, poor communication, and lost property…read more I brought H Power Computing an external hard drive on June 29 because it was clicking and could not be detected. Their website advertises a free basic diagnostic followed by a quote for further work, but I was charged $189.95 for "diagnosis/disassembly." On July 7, they emailed me that the drive would require Level 5 service costing between $1,999.95 and $3,499.95. At intake, they had set me up to receive text messages, so I expected important status updates by text. The email went into my junk folder, and I did not see it for weeks. More importantly, I was never given a meaningful diagnostic report explaining what they opened, what tests they performed, what they actually found, or why Level 5 service was supposedly required. When I retrieved the drive yesterday, it had visible pry marks and scratches. My original white data cable was also missing. They could not return it and instead gave me a black replacement cable. For $189.95, you would expect -- at least clear -- advance disclosure, documented diagnostic findings, responsible communication, and the return of all of my original property. Instead, I received a very expensive recovery estimate, no new findings, little explanation of the work performed, visible marks on the device, and a substitute cable. Based on this experience, I would not use H Power Computing again.

If you're spending the day walking around, having nowhere to go can be incredibly inconvenient. I honestly don't think people talk about this enough. This place was a lifesaver when I needed a restroom, and because of that, I'll definitely remember it for future visits. It also made me understand why certain parts of the city sometimes have the smell that they do, when there aren't enough accessible public restrooms, people are left with very few options. So thank you, Best Buy, for having public bathroom access to your customers. On another note, I was able to purchase an AirTag today finally and I was able to check out Geek Squad. I asked them how much it would be to fix my iPhone screen and it was $300 with my T-Mobile Insurance. I'm glad I got the insight so I know the price but I'll definitely try out another option and price compare.

Explained and diagnosed the situation very effectively. Gave me tons of options while understanding my needs with the urgency and what I wanted to pay. She cared a lot about my situation and that was really nice. Having your phone down can feel very panicky and most people could take advantage of this to upsell things but she was very assuring and extremely knowledgeable. Easy to talk to. Very satisfied with it. To be honest, this was my fault and she could've let me reap the consequences (which I understand) but she gave me a small quote and unwillingly installed my ordered, new screen while testing the phones functionalities. I came to Safari Tech because my hard drive died out and thought I lost all of my data. When I called, they answered right away and told me it was something they could possibly fix and I was able to come in the same day! When I came in, the owner made me feel very comfortable with everything, explaining all that he would do to try to get my data saved. It only took a few hours for him to call me back and let me know that he was able to save everything. He explained to me why my hard drive failed and also told me he could replace it with a new one at a very reasonable price! It saved me from having to buy a completely new laptop and I got all my data back! I asked if he could look at my external hard drives as well to see if they were still good and he kindly checked them for me. Everything was finished within the next day and I was able to pick up my devices. He even helped me over the phone when I called with questions for help with the new hard drive. I would definitely come back here if I have other tech issues and fully recommend them to anyone who needs help with tech. Service here is amazing, informative and very fast. This is a condensed version of my experience with E&A 808 Repair…read more My Dell laptop that cost me over $2,000. only needed a CPU fan, so I called this business and October 24 2025, Eric picked my computer up from the house and I gave him the nonrefundable $100. in cash as per his terms. I asked him to be careful with my PC as it was in perfect condition as he put it in the back of his vehicle on top and among other PCs and things to my disbelief. When he brought it back November 5, 2025, I gave him $109. in cash and asked for a receipt. I discovered the next day that the new fan made a lot of noise so I called him and November 17 he picked the computer up from the house. Again I asked him to be careful with it but it went back into his vehicle on top of PCs and things. November 24th he returned it, handed it to me and drove off. I went inside turned it on and not only did the fan still make the same noise, I got one critical message after another and could not get the laptop to load up. I called Eric immediately and said I just want you to know that I just turned my computer on and I am getting one critical message after another and it will not load up/turn on and I don't want to talk right now as I am very upset/angry about losing my computer and I hung up. Eric called back and I picked up and said the same thing and hung up. He called again and I did not pick up and he left a threatening message and repeated it 3 times. He said that I was rude and not a nice person and I was not to contact his company ever again or he would call the police and press charges for harassment and would never do work for me again. How convenient to ruin my expensive laptop both physically and mechanically and get $209. in cash and then renege on his 6 months warranty and threaten me! For the record I always treated Eric with respect and never used vulgar/foul language even when he ruined my PC. He always seemed to be on edge and ready to argue as I bit my tongue numerous times to avoid arguing on what he said or how he said something, he was consistently late on pick up/drop off, he does not take care of or respect customer's PCs from what I saw and experienced as he piled them in the back of his vehicle without any padding/protection. He scratched and scuffed up the outer case of my Dell laptop that was in perfect condition in which I was not able to get them out. He had my computer tied up for a month when he told me the replacement fan would only take a few days. I have tried to keep this short but there is so much more. Please read ALL the reviews on Yelp and the BBB before deciding on a business to repair your electronics and I would recommend a company that is BBB accredited.

During the crazy 2 weeks of rain, my son's computer stopped working. Richard was still working helping businesses with their network failures through the storm. Always good to call ahead and he can work out time to meet if necessary. Reasonable pricing for both labor and parts. Easy to understand explanation. My son's laptop is an ASUS Vivobook 14, model number X1404V. He claims it isn't charging despite it being plugged into the laptop charger. He's tried at different outlets. We tried getting a replacement charging cord and that didn't work, so it's for sure something with the computer itself. We spoke to Yoda at Gadget Guyz about the issue and he let us know it will require bench work and gave a referral to Easy Computer. Dropped off on Tuesday for diagnosis. Results of diagnosis on Thursday. Richard confirmed that there was at least one bad component in the motherboard, so it would require a full motherboard replacement. A motherboard replacement would require dismantling the entire computer and replacing it and putting it completely back together. For a motherboard replacement they are not done in-house, they are sent out to New York. Parts alone would be nearly the cost of the computer brand new. Labor and to send out would double it. Picked up Friday. Richard gave a good recommendation on next steps. Consider if it was still covered under warranty, where I purchased it, what would be covered. He was very sweet to work with.

Victor, my buddy, my pal, my dude…read more.. A general rule of thumb in regards to human decency: when you are wrong, or when you cannot do something you thought you could do, say so. Own it. Be real. Do not try to refuse someone service or return someone a laptop they thought you could repair for a nonsense reason that doesn't even apply in this situation. You couldn't fix a laptop? That's fine, but don't pull the BS you did with me and say it's due to my 'unpredictable behavior' that you're 'not comfortable' with holding my laptop you couldn't fix. I had a similar incident with TCA Wireless where I brought my phone in to be fixed due to a busted digitizer. They admitted to me that even after replacing the screen 5 times the phone still acted buggy. They were very apologetic that they couldn't fix it, and I understood and paid them for their attempts to try. That is the difference between them and you. You couldn't even look me in the eye when you handed my computer off to me. You didn't outright admit you couldn't fix it, and you didn't even apologize for your own unpredictable and ridiculous behavior. Because I wondered if you'd be able to pick up the charger from me that day? Did I demand you pick it up from me that day? All it was was just me thinking maybe you might be in the area and I could meet with you wherever was convenient to drop it off. I clearly specify that I didn't expect you to pick up from me that time, or even that day. And I apologize for the misunderstanding. But you, whether because of anxiety or just plain flakiness, decide to be so unprofessional that instead of just owning up to the fact you couldn't fix it, you want to try and blow this up to make it seem like I threatened you or made advances to you, or that I was being demanding. I was being nothing but lax and you decided that because my laptop was a lost cause you could act this way to me. On top of that, "unpredictable behavior"? You are dealing in a business full of unpredictable accidents and mishaps, and with technology, of all things. If this kind of thing is enough to make you uncomfortable, maybe you shouldn't be fixing computers. Let me be clear to the rest of Yelp: I am NOT saying you shouldn't stop giving Victor work. By all means, do so. Perhaps he's the closest to you, perhaps you want to see if your problem is something minor that could save you money and the hassle of finding a company that repairs computers for more. Do with your money what you feel is best. But if he pulls this unprofessional, unpredictable behavior with you, don't say I didn't warn you.

He asked me for the necessary computer information and was able to give me a reasonable price that was way cheaper than buying a new laptop! He was very responsive throughout the process and let me know when he had ordered the part for my computer screen fix. The repair was done within a few days of him receiving my computer, which he had very graciously picked up while he happened to be in my city. Once the fix was done, he had sent me pictures with my new screen and a video to confirm the touch screen was working too! It looked great, and he ended up giving a bubble wrap case for the computer! He was available during a wide time range for pickup, which was very quick and easy as he had sent the invoice ahead of time. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend for any tech needs and fixes!
