Provides excellent service at a reasonable price. Doesn't overcharge and has referred me to get warranty service from the manufacturer versus charging me to do the repair. read more

Was in the next day for service. Nice guy.. Communicates well and gave my son quick service with his PC.

I thought I posted a first review when they helped me recover most of my pics and transferred it to my portable hard drive but I guess I didn't, this time I had them put all my address into my hard drive so I could restart/reset my iPhone as someone had hacked it. Anyways, their patience and diligence are very noteworthy as I was totally clueless when it comes to technology. Thank you safari tech. I appreciate you for sure. read more

Safari Tech Hawaii - My safari tech advisor I always go to. - IT Services & Computer Repair Near Me - Aiea, Hawaii

I needed help resolving a computer warranty problem. I was tired of spending hours waiting on the phone, waiting for email responses and dealing with people who live far away that are unable to fix your problem computer. Went down to the Safari Tech (based on Yelp reviews) and talked to John to resolve the issue. Thank you, Yelpers! John is knowledgeable and diagnosed my problem and wrote a professional letter to use for my warranty issue (My computer failed 3 days after the strict 90- day return window). I am going to update my old computer (after talking to John) from Safari Tech now. I know that you can get friendly tech support (which you will need because all computers eventually have problems) and great service from a local company. Tired of big box stores that pass your problem (on the defective product they sold to you) to someone else. Buy local. 5-star review for safari Tech! read more

John really knows his technology and is willing to spend the time necessary to make sure everything is perfect - all at reasonable prices. I had a seriously damaged Windows 11 HP laptop that contained data I urgently required. I had purchased a new laptop and needed to transfer the data from the non-functional one. John extracted the old hard drive, connected it externally to the new laptop, decrypted the bitlocker data, and ensured that the data transfer was working. He also took the time to instruct me on how to retrieve the decryption key for the encrypted drive and provided me with an external drive case so that I would be able to perform these functions myself in the future. Great service! Great price! read more

Very helpful and thorough! Screen wasn't all the way fixed, however they offered to order and replace it with another new screen to rule out manufacturer issues. read more

Very knowledgeable and explained the entire process well. Great customer service and friendly!

John did the job at a reasonable price. I give him my highest recommendation. Very good service.

Found this place while doing a google search for MacBook repairs. Decided to give them a call to inquire on a battery replacement for my MacBook Pro. He was very informative and helpful from that first call. He ordered my battery and a week later I dropped off my laptop. It was ready for pickup the next business day! His prices are reasonable and service is excellent. I would highly recommend this business! read more

I had an external hard drive that my iMac couldn't mount or repair. I had all my children's pictures on this hard drive. Jon was able to schedule me right away and even on a holiday. His prices are fair and it even included a new hard drive where he loaded all my pictures and documents in. He was very fast at fixing it. Done the next day! Jon is awesome and I will for sure be referring others to him for any computer or data recovery issues. Thank you so much Jon!!! read more

Other places quoted a low to high range for repairing my laptop screen AND said it would take two to three weeks to get the work done. Safari Tech not only came in at the low end of the other places in price, but also did the work the same day in two to three hours! I would definitely use them again and would recommend them highly to everyone. The gentleman with whom I worked was great and the quality of work made my laptop like new. It looks even cleaner than when I dropped it off. Instead of having to dole out $800 for the company to repair, or higher prices somewhere else, I got the fix I needed at a reasonable price adding years to my usage. Try them first, you won't be disappointed. read more

So I brought in my sons OMEN gaming laptop because it shut off and wouldn't start back up. After diagnosing it he was able to fix it, clean it and add a 18 month virus protection to it. At the same time I brought my personal MacBook laptop. It had different issues with the screen not working all the time. But after diagnosing it he was able to fix it and add the 18 months virus protection to. The tech that helped us was Jon who was super nice and very knowledgeable. He also was able to finish both our laptops in the same day! I really appreciate that he stayed 1.5 hours after his closing time so I could come by to pick up my laptops. If anyone needs their computer fixed I highly recommend to check this place out! read more

My pc was hanging up, getting slower, refusing to open common websites. I watched a ton of videos, trying to fix it. No change. I found Safari Tech while looking for computer repair near me. John was awesome. Answered the phone, listened to my issue, said it was probably the hard drive. I brought it in the same day. He gave me an estimate, told me it would be about a week. Six days later he called me. It was done, working great and the price was exactly as quoted. I cannot say enough good things about John and this company. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a computer issue. read more

Fixed my laptop in one day! Provided an accurate fast quote over the phone. My laptop screen broke and I was unsure why it wasn't working, when I took it into apple they quoted me about $600 i only bought this laptop back in march so that was pretty frustrating, the employee at apple was incredibly rude so when I called around I was already in not the greatest mood. When I called safari tech they were so helpful and nice providing me a quote within a few minutes, they quoted me $350 way cheaper than apple, we ordered the parts and a few days later I bought my laptop in and it was fixed that day, quick and easy. Thank you! read more

My ancient Sony Vaio laptop decided to crap out on me. It literally would turn in then immediately shut off. I brought it in and they told me they'd check it out to see what's the issue. While my laptop was in their service, they kept me updated via text which was very assuring. Unfortunately the root of the problem was gonna cost more than the laptop itself. They told me they were able to save my files which was awesome. I mentioned that I'll be shopping for a new laptop so they offered me a deal. If I was to purchase a laptop from them, they'll waive the service fee that I was originally told to pay. So I went in found what I needed and I must say it was a good deal. Most of their laptops they sell are decent and has the most updated OS. Overall, great & friendly service and I recommend this place. read more

John (owner operator) exceeded my expectations. I submitted quotes from various Mac repair companies. He responded in a very timely manner and was able to see me same day. Repaired my 2015 MacBook Pro in one week with a new hard drive, OS and battery. Runs very efficiently and operationally sound. Costs was very reasonable. He answered all my questions and concerns even after the repair. Very pleasant and affable guy to work and converse with. I wish and hope more businesses operate this way, personal, caring, and professional. Thank you John! read more

I came here to fix my trackpad on my MacBook. He was well knowledgeable, reasonable price and great turn around time.

The battery on my MacBook Air started swelling. I was told that this was extremely dangerous so I was looking to someone to replace the battery since the computer worked perfectly except for the swelling battery. I took the computer to an authorized Apple repair facility and they refused to touch it, claiming the computer was extremely hazardous. I then took it to Safari Tech who replaced the battery within 2 hours. If it weren't for Safari Tech, I would have been faced with having to replace my MacBook Air. read more

Amazing experience! Yelp sent out a bunch of inquiries to tech businesses to help me with my laptop issues. Safari Tech not only responded, but went above and beyond to get my laptop back up and running the same day. The business owner answered my call personally. Despite having staff training that day, he left to meet me at the shop so that I could drop off my device. Excellent, constant communication via text the entire time my laptop was in his care, problem solved for a fair price. CC accepted. Also does notary services. I had accidentally left my charger on the counter and when I came back, the business owner personally walked downstairs to drop it off to me in the car. Highly professional. Highly recommend. Safari Tech exceeded my expectations. When my husband's iPhone 12 mini unexpectedly died due to overheating, we went straight to Apple for help. Unfortunately they couldn't get the phone to power on or recover the photos and videos that my hubz had not backed up. We turned to Yelp and found Safari Tech and received a response in minutes. I asked to pay extra for a rush job and it was amazingly completed in three days. The total cost was much lower than what mainland data recovery companies are charging. Customer service was great too. So pleased that I felt compelled to write my first Yelp review. Highly recommend! read more
