I've been here, maybe twice befoe picking up some used CD's and books. BookOff is a used book,…read moremovie, gaming, and music store. They are on Cooke Street with 3 dedicated stalls in a shared lot. Entrance/exit is on Cooke. They buy as well as sell. They do offer new collectibles such as Funko Pops and figurines. They also have a sizeable collection of Japanese books, manga, games, movies, anime, and records. They have a discount area in all or most sections...$1 books, music, etc. I am not sure when their buying hours are but I am sure it is posted in-store. Today, I picked up a Heatwave hits collection on CD - I have an older vehicle witha CD player. This was a 70's R&B/disco band with a Philly Soul influence in the harmonies...members from Spain, Switzerland, UK, and USA. Open daily from 1000a till 800p.

More importantly, they had a nice selection of both sealed product and individual packs and cards. Prices were reasonable, especially in this market. Best of all the people who ran the shop were friendly and helpful. SELECTION: Pokemon and Magic the Gathering are plentiful here. They had more than most shops and a good selection of Japanese Pokemon. Sadly no Japanese MTG in stock, but a really good selection otherwise. SERVICE: Excellent! Very helpful staff and friendly. Definitely would shop here if we lived in the area. COST: Reasonable. The service makes it even more worthwhile.

This store has absolutely everything from comic books, collectibles, MTG/TCG, D&D items and books, Warhammer, and also board games. Honestly if you are into any of those then this place is the place to come to. The absolute widespread level of inventory is only matched by how friendly the staff is and how comfortable of an environment they've created to spend your time there. They even put on events on nearly a daily basis depending what you're into. Pricing is very reasonable and I do majority of my shopping here as it is extremely competitive with online pricing. Not to mention being able to find the product that you're looking for locally is hard to find for most shops. The gameplay areas of the store are clean, tidy, and do not smell (yes... we know the stereotype of hobby shops). Plus they're always willing to spend the time to explain and help you get into any of the games they sell. I haven't played MTG for decades since I was a child and they were so kind to take me thru the differences from what I knew then to the large and vast game that it has become. They also make it simple to sign up on their website for Prerelease events and specialty game nights. I'm so glad to have found a store that has a staff that is passionate about the games as much as its customers. Thank you so much for having such a great shop to keep coming back to.

Real orderly (not surprised) and clean large comic book and other fantasy games. They seem to have alot of employees working and stocking. It seemed like a lot of them may have been lacking in social skills or customer service. Upon entering I stood at the main check out counter and a handful of workers looked up saw me and did not acknowledge me or call somebody to help me and nobody smiled. I was about to walk out feeling I was outside to their realm because essentially I was! Just came by to get a gift card. My visit left me with the impression from my experience as "what are you doing here outsider" or "you can wait we dont need your business" kind of vibe. So anyways nice clean well stocked store but the vibe meh!!

Even items that are 50-75% off retail price are priced nearly double their competitors. So many cool items, gift ideas, holiday stocking stuffers, but I cant justify the price. Im commenting on the layout of the store as well, which I assume is like a maze to deter theft, loitering, but it is nauseating. Stay away if youre easily overstimulated.

The classic place that we've been associated as a seasonal shop to pick up the calendars for they year weather for yourself or gifting it to someone which I've done as everyone needs a calendar every year and why not pick up one in a type that's just for that person weather it's a cartoon, sports or that K-pop thang it does make a great gift. It used to be majority calendars with some toys are now slightly reversed as the toy section has grown much more and besides losing a lot of major toy stores does make the inventory at this store higher in demand. The calendar section is empty as they start to bring in the new ones though the toys and novelties here are quite funny and unique that I actually found a stress squeeze thing for myself that I thought would be fun and entertaining lol!! The staff here are a delight and can help you to find anything you might be looking for but I'm sure you'll walk out with something you least expect...in a great way ;-) Thank you!

Recently made my way to Windward Collectibles this place is a normal stop for me but haven't really…read moreposted about them. On this particular day a young lady was working she was really cool so they have a card/ hobby side and across is retro games and game systems. I asked to check out the game side and she happily helped me out. The selection of games is vast they have n.e.s to newer gen stuff. They also have japanese games as well. I grabbed a couple of games and we headed back over to the hobby side to pay. The card shop is fairly well stocked they also have anime stickers/ car decals for sale. I saw some pokemon, one piece yu gi oh and various sports cards. All in all I enjoy coming here and they have a free card bin for anyone who would like to go through it.

He just ignored me. No "I'll be right with you" or anything. Just silence. After 10 min of standing at the register I put the card sleeves back and left. It would be 1 star if the worker was rude, but he was just oblivious.

Came in yesterday with two shopping carts stuffed with books…read moreand honestly didn't know what to expect -- but wow, this place totally exceeded my expectations! The owner greeted me right away with that warm, aloha spirit energy. No attitude, no long drawn-out process. She got straight to scanning my old dusty books while I waited, and when she was done, she texted me -- yes, texted me -- to let me know. Walked up, got my receipt, got my quote. Super professional, super smooth. Here's the best part: while I was waiting, I browsed around and found three gifts for my grandchildren that I knew they'd love. So in one trip I freed up a ton of space at home from books that had been taking up way too much room and knocked out some gift shopping. Win-win-win! The whole setup is easy too -- rolled the carts right from my car into the store, no stress. My friend was chillin' in the massage chair outside the whole time, so nobody's time was wasted. I was originally just gonna dump everything at Goodwill. So glad I didn't. I'm already planning to come back with my old DVDs and CDs just sitting my shed in the backyard. If you've got stuff collecting dust at home, bring it here first. You might walk out with cash in your pocket and a smile on your face. Highly recommend. 5/5, no question!
