Alex at the Verizon store in Galt was AMAZING! He helped me with my Verizon issues and then went way above and beyond by helping me change a flat tire. Horrible horrible horrible!!! HAD great service with Verizon, no issues for the first 3 years, then BOOM! Nothing but problems. They traded out their faulty equipment for equipment that didn't solve the issues and-or did-not work properly. Since March I have spend close to 24 hours combined with customer service, DOING THE WORK THAT A TECHNICIAN SHOULD BE DOING!! If you think they will send a technician to solve the problem.... hahahaha!... I'm a grandma, why the hell am I spending my golden years dealing with this BS???!!! If you get Verizon, prepared to go weeks without WiFi while they make excuse after excuse for their buffering and lost connections. Be prepared to be lied to about "gift cards" they say they will send to make up for the subpar service. And whatever you do... KEEP ALL RECEIPTS FROM ANY EQUIPMENT YOU RETURN (HAVE UPS OR WHATEVER CARRIER GIVE YOU A PRINT OUT LISTING EACH DEVICE INDIVIDUALLY THAT IS RETURNED) ALSO WHATEVER YOU DO, AVOID GETTING "FREE" PHONES (They aren't free as this locks you in with them until it's paid for ... pretty shady, I know) Fortunately there are several alternative carriers (like Starlink) becoming available. DO NOT GO HERE. Upgraded my phone on 1/2/25 and was told to turn the old one in with the salesman. Turns out I was supposed to receive a shipping label to mail the old phone back to Verizon myself. The salesman stole my phone. They are charging me $476.85 for that old phone saying they didn't receive it. My service has been interrupted 3-4 times while I've constantly received the runaround between Verizon corporate not wanting to take responsibility for this third party stores theft and not being able to find a manager at this one or being told two weeks later the old one quit and now there's a new guy! Who finally seemed like he was helpful, was supposed to receive a check in the mail for the amount. Well times up phone is off again and no check, no text back from the manager! Left me on read. The manager, Drake, was hostile and rude, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. We felt pressured to make a purchase, especially when they advertised a "free" device with a new phone that absolutely did not end up being free. By far has to be one my worse experiences with a store. I normally don't go into stores for help but I really wanted to get my hands on this upgrade today. They left one person to close the store by herself and for all intents and purposes she couldn't have been over her 90 days. Every transaction required a phone call on how to. He lied and costed over $500. Verizon addressed this concern on their website and says you should read the fine print. I won't be reading the fine print, I'll shove it right back in his face. I WAS COMPLETELY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AT THIS STORE! Do not go here! Yesterday, Shenon ( clerk) was the only one working and I was the first customer. I told him I wanted a new phone (S23), no change to my plan or anything else, and a dust free cover. I was told the phone was $800, the transfer of data was included due to the upgrade, and I could trade my S9 in for $100 credit. I left with the total invoice unseen, but the clerk had emailed it. My phone was still configuring when I left the Verizon store. I retrieved my invoice at home, and was outraged about the charges!! No answer at the Galt Verizon store, so called Verizon directly. Shenon had: 1. Changed my plan 2. Added Redux insurance 29.99 3. Added cloud coverage 4. Added phone insurance 5. Charged me $39.99 to transfer the data from my old phone 6. Hadn't processed the return of my S9. 7. Verizon charged $35 fee for device upgrade (he did advise me of this) 8. Charged me $815 for the phone, which online said $799 I spent almost an hour on the phone with Verizon getting most of this corrected and the gal from Verizon was horrified on my behalf. Today I visited the store. Monique agreed to credit the insurance 29.99, refused to immediately contact the manager for the phone fee of 39.99 and said Shenon would email a receipt for the return of my S9 (100.00). Monique said she would contact me when the manager agreed to waive the fee of $39.99, and I could return to the store for the credit. At this point, I am still out $139.99 through no fault of my own. If this is not an example of illegal and horrible customer service, I don't know what is!! Completely wrong and handled horribly. I will update if this is resolved correctly. read more

The location is clean and neat in a large shopping center next to Raleys. The only drawback is I told him I'm not ready to purchase a Verizon at this time and he said I have to ask you to leave because we have a two minute conversion ratio and you can't stay in here unless you're buying. read more

The representative said I still get my companies discount when I changed my plan. I asked are you sure? He said yes. Come to find out it's now $30 more then what he said. Make sure when you go to A Verizon store don't go to a "Authorized Dealer" ask if they are a corporate store. If they are an authorized store leave. They are not trained or knowledgeable and the end result is they don't Know what they are talking about and you could pay more and also pay additional set up fees over and above what a Verizon Co would charge The issue was the misinformation from your employee due to lack of training. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. The management has changed dramatically and when that happens for the bad any place is quick to go down. The websites quotes "that tireless drive and interpersonal skills will help you succeed" i dont see that with the manager no interpersonal skills maybe i see it with specific customers but if your not buying a phone or doing what he says..that attitude is very different towards you. You get better service from his employees the girl and the two guys. Or go to walmart they are cheaper anyways. This store is the most derelict store in the entire U.S. I almost feel sorry for its employees except they text their boyfriends while working on your account and wasting 2 hours of my time! The Manager is unprofessional and cares nothing about her employees knowledge or skills. If you want to open a Verizon account I highly suggest you do it elsewhere. BEWARE!! We went in for the Black Friday deals last November. We dealt with Daniel Enriquez & told him we ABSOLUTELY HAD to get our bill under $300 or we couldn't continue with Verizon. After hours of working things out (& having to hear him try to brag about being hungover & how he left his wallet & phone at the bar his friend manages) we got 4 phones & our bill was supposed to be $277.90. I asked Dan to sign the paper next to where he wrote the 277.90 because last time I renewed in that store my bill was supposed to be $245 & ended up being $300. He said, " it's all good, I'm giving you my personal cell # so if in a few months it's still high just give me a call" & drew an arrow from the $277.90 to his name/#. Well it's 6 months later & my bill is $371. I've talked to Dan once who was supposed to have a manger call me back but never did, & spoke with customer service who the 1st time was supposed to look into it & get back to me but didn't & second time after an hour & a half on the phone said they couldn't do anything. They even tried to contact Dan while I was on the phone but Dan said he was off & would not help. They said they couldn't see the Black Friday deals & all they could offer is a one time refund of activation fees. Dan is no longer at the Galt store which is why he wrote Arden fair mall because he knew he would be leaving Galt. Be careful people. read more

Worst customer service ever. Went in because my phone screen was blank. Two employees looked at my phone and said the screen was shot. All of one minute diagnosis. Said I need a new phone. I said okay. 3 hours later I had my phone. Felt as so I was being robbed the whole time. After not agreeing to buy $170 worth of accessories I was treated even worse. No instruction whatsoever on operation of the phone. Managers attitude extremely poor. After leaving the store took my old phone to the local repair shop and in 15 seconds the gentleman had my phone working. Simply turned it on and off. Returned the following morning to return my new phone. Was hit with a $50 restocking fee. To be expected from these Crooks. Did not need a new phone to start with but these Crooks did not have the want or the knowledge not sure what to diagnose a simple issue with my phone. Won't be returning to this store ever again after many years of patronizing my local store. I am a believer and supporting my local businesses. But that is a two-way street. Simple respect and Trust and we will keep coming back. Neither one of these was given and even small doses. Sad what customer service has turned into. However, the sales representative that I worked with, Toni Lopez, was extremely diligent and patient throughout the process. If I could give them negitive stars I would, for goodness sakes I've spent two and ha half months being screwed around by every employee and every district manager they have gone through it that amount of time witch says it all in and of itself. So I went in back in October simply to switch my damaged Samsung s6 over to my old old old smart phone because my damaged Samsung wasn't working yes I did drop it in the toilet twice no it did not want to work after the second time, I was 100% honest with the guy about the phone it has water damage it does not work properly and in front of three employees at that , he says oh well I'm pretty sure we can get you and upgrade and it looks like you only owe 24.95 on your Samsung, I said oh well shoot I can pay that if it means a knew phone rather than switch service to my lucid lg witch is really old, so I pick out an I phone7 and he takes my samsung tries to charge it, I tell him it doesn't change and if your lucky enough to get it to charge it doesn't stay charged and hold a charge next time this is why I was just gonna switch to my old old old phone he says well I'm gonna call my distract manager and see if we can take this in on trade comes back from the back and says we are all good to go all you have to do is pay the 25 you owe on it and the 100 for the new phone and ur good, ssweet I can do that. He tells me I have to send my Samsung into Verizon. Well as you can imagine Verizon sent my phone back said we can't take that it doesn't work and oh btw you owe 125 on the phone and we will put that on your next bill, so I've spent the last couple months on the phone with every employee there who swears they will talk to their district manager and call me back, well in two months I've receive one call back from Karen a regular employee who told me she was a manager but turns out isn't and swore the district manger would call me himself Tuesday well guess what it's Tuesday and no call. I would like to give a big shout out to Cameron the newest manger whom I've delt the most with, for two weeks he has promised he would take care of it he would talk to his general manager he swears he has emails him and cc me in the email he has promised call backs, never once has any of that happened and honestly I hope he's the next fired. I spoke with him yesterday and he says I'm gonna take care of this right now I'm going to give you 125 credit to your account right now, well I was sitting in the Seattle airport on my way back from my moms funeral trying to take care of this so I said I will call Verizon when we get off the phone to make sure the credit is there, me. Cameron says oh oh well it won't be on there for 30 minutes, well shit I have a two hour layover I'll call in thirty minutes, so low and behold thirty minutes later no freaking credit to my account. Thankfully while speaking with the kind Verizon rep he was able to reverse the charge because they had documented eight pages of me dealing with this god forsaken bs store. So to the galt Verizon premium retailer you all suck at customer service and your jobs, seriously you have one job c.u.s.t.o.m.e.r s.e.r.v.i.c.e. And you failed. Cameron I hope you do better at your next job because never should you ever tell a customer that you have sworn a call back to that you didn't call them because you didn't get anything done. I buy alot of new phones, usually a new one every month or two. With different phones, sometimes I need a new sim card for them. This place began charging $2 for a sim card a while back, then raised it to $5 not long after. I went in yesterday to get a new sim card and they told me that they're now $10. It's literally cheaper to drive to the next town and get one for free at an actual Verizon store. I'm sad to say that I'll never be back. read more
