The young man that helped me, his name started with an E (I feel terrible that I can't remember his name) was incredibly helpful. He still had to call Verizon to actually terminate the service but was prepared for the process, handled the whole thing professionally and with patience. The Verizon representative that I experienced is NOT interested in making sells. The experience started off pleasant. I told him that I was interested in changing my plan and upgrading my phone. I specified that I wasn't particular on either (the plan type or the iPhone), just whichever was closest to what I was currently paying. He proposed some items and tried to ask if I wanted to add features. I informed him that I would rather see the total before I add features. After going back and forth, he punched some numbers on the calculator and showed the price of my new phone, plan, and insurance including discounts. I told him I would like to go forward. One flag I should've heeded to was him asking his coworkers for discount and phone prices. They knew it off the top of their heads, but he did not. He goes to pull the phone and informs me that the one he had picked was not available. I could go to the lower storage capacity or the base model. I chose the lower storage capacity. Once he grabs the phone and starts processing on the computer and not his handy dandy calculator, that's when things went left. He pulled up the new monthly price going forward. It was $45 more than what he quoted. I asked him to clarify the difference in price. He got very defensive and said I went over 4 different quotes while talking with you. I told him I remember the price I said to go forward. He then pulls out his calculator and can't get back to the original price he gave. He even goes on to say that ' You can go think about it and put your groceries up'. The tone was cold. I felt slighted, but paused and explained that I wanted him to walk me through the price difference. He then tries to throw out that this price includes insurance. I informed him that he had that included on the original price. He said that was not true. He then goes back on his calculator and, low and behold, he can't get back to the original quoted price. He then starts talking slowly as if I can't understand. I still ask him to go through the difference from the original quote. Mind you, many times as I was speaking he would look and stare off into space and then ask me to repeat myself. He tells me that a quotation is not locked in and is subject to change. In my field of work, that's an estimate not a quote, if it's subject to change. After that, I decided to finally end this horrible interaction. I left and realized I never got his name (maybe a blessing in disguise). I called back but Verizon has a separate answering system. I tell them the location and requested a call back from the manager. This happened on Saturday, March 1 around 1:30-2:00 pm. I have yet to receive a call. Maybe he was the manager. If so, not knowing the prices and products looks really bad. I did get the number for the Verizon corporate office, so maybe I can reach someone to discuss further. I've been with Verizon for 10 years. I already hate calling into Verizon customer service (they have perfected the way to not connect you to a live person), but if I can't go into a location, maybe it's time to leave Verizon altogether. read more

I came in for assistance to complete the set up on my dad's new phone. The store was empty except for the two employees standing around. I had both my dad's old iPhone 6 and his new iPhone 14 pro max. I explained that everything had been transferred to the new phone except the phone number wouldn't update and my dad was a Verizon customer. They said they couldn't help me and gave me a phone number I could call or I could pay $29.95 for their assistance. I left. Such poor customer service. I figured it out on my own. read more

Little slow but maybe that's the nature of the beast Update: The $65 dollar screen protector I bought cracked within two days. I never even dropped it. When I went to an actual Verizon store I found out just how much they swindled me. The Verizon associate told me they can't do anything for the screen protector and that they don't even sell that brand because they aren't reliable. Victra charged me $755 for a Samsung Galaxy s10e. The Verizon associate tells me they only charge $599 for that model. The Victra associate told me she would waive the activation fee, but she just put it on next month's bill. Upon heading into this store I thought it was a legit Verizon store...it looks the same and everything, but this is a third party store that upcharges for their phones and swindles customers with expensive and poorly designed products. They are a subcontractor with their own practices and rules. I traded in my iPhone 11 and it has been a nightmare ever since! The staff here is incompetent and have made a mess of my payments. Do not buy a phone here, or set it as a pick up location. Just go to a real Verizon store or have it mailed. It will be faster. I can't leave 0 stars so I will leave 1 for Geo/Gio -however you spell his nickname- was really nice and tried everything he could to overcome the apparent incompetence of whoever did the inventory. Apparently this wasn't the first time. I had already paid for the phone that I ordered online. I chose this store because they were open late enough for me to pick up after work. It was a surprise upgrade for my daughter who has done so well adapting to a new home and school, and been a great daughter. Surprise, you would have to wait a week for that gift, at least, at this point!!!! Victra held onto my phone. They opened a ticket with their tech people to fix the issue. I contacted Verizon the next day when it was apparent the fix would not be immediate. Verizon opened a ticket as well. The problem I now had was that even though I could not leave with my phone, my order showed complete, delivered, satisfied. Verizon could not do anything for me except email the Victra General/District Manager. I'm not even sure at this point who it was. Doesn't matter because it still isn't resolved. They don't want to just give me the phone I paid for because it will effect their inventory and they'll be out $800 until they fix the problem, which has no timeline. I see where your priorities are, not customer service. Update within the review: A simple call was made and my phone was returned. Now I am free to go through the process at a real Verizon retailer, just before they close. Management here clearly has no idea what its doing and the management's management clearly doesn't care about how their service is viewed. read more

I was in this morning and needed to upgrade my iPhone and was helped by the most helpful, knowledgeable and the nicest sales representative named Geo. Geo worked tirelessly finding me the best price on my new iPhone 11 and iPad 7th generation. Geo also hooked up my new iPhone to my Toyota Highlander and reminded me if I had any questions to please call him or come by the store. I can't say enough how efficient he was helping me as well as helping a couple of walk-ins quickly and politely. If you're in the market for a new cellphone head over to Verizon and ask for Geo. UPDATE: I wish I could give them ZERO STARS. When I got my bill, it had doubled! I was not given the promotional trade in credit I was told. Turns out it wasn't $350, it was only $100 based on the condition of my phone when I traded it in. There was also a $35 activation fee - and prorated charges for changing plans. it was my fault for not getting everything in writing (they told me they couldn't make copies of what they had written down). I reached out to the Victra corporate office in February and was told they would get back to me in 72 hours. It has now been two months with no response. Again, all I can say is BUYER BEWARE. This place is a scam. We went in to upgrade a phone and they push you to buy all these accessories with the promise that on your next bill you will receive a $160 credit. Foolishly we believed them. We Called when we didn't get the credit on the next bill and they assured us sometimes it takes another month to see the credit. I said ok I will give them the benefit of the doubt and wait til next months bill. Again no credit. Called and the manager Ian said he remembered us and said he remembers telling us that the $160 credit is credited to your bill over a 2 year period. Never once did he mention this when he was trying to up sell all these accessories. Had I known that I would have never agreed. This place is a complete scam and we will never return. It's a knock off verizon store. They use the Verizon logo but it's not a real Verizon store. Avoid at all costs. I hate leaving bad reviews for businesses but this really angered me. read more

As the other reviews here mention, we were pushed into buying accessories that are probably cheaper at Best Buy, and we were charged $20 (without being told up front) for them to "set up" the phone we bought and transfer the data from the old phone. However, the phone was the same price as the "regular" Verizon store, they had plenty in stock, we were able to get in and out without an appointment, and overall found them very helpful. We had gone to the Verizon Store on Laguna the day before and couldn't even get in the store without an appointment, and they were booked for the entire week. My son is only in town for this week and needed to upgrade his phone. I was fine with paying a little extra for the accessories and walking out the same day with what we wanted. read more

My son and I visited the store last night to get him a new phone. We had to wait a while because Lauren was swamped with needy customers and was handling everything on her own (I felt bad for her). This place is horrible and they only want to help you if you buy a phone. I purchased an iPhone 8 and came back to turn my old phone in and was signed in and received a text saying I was next. 4 people walked in and got service. A saleswoman noticed me waiting and never said anything to me but talked to 4 other sales people who were all talking to each other with no customers. The lady could see I was getting upset that's when the 5th person walked in and one of the salespeople who were just standing around shooting the $@&$ walked up and said let me help you. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I don't know what to call them scammers or ?? Went to the store to transfer my 4 phone line to Verizon and get some new phones, they order the phone for me after waiting one week receive a call to pick up the phone and start the service, reached at store and Employee name Larry Guillen start working on my service but after spend more then one hour still not be able to start it because the phone they order with different phone numbers and can't release it. So I have to wait two more days and receive call again for pick up the phones spend more then one hour to do the process and now he erase the data from my wife iPhone instead of restore to new iPhone, thank god we have back up in iCloud otherwise we lost all the data, finally got the phone and they charged me approx. $600.00 for taxes and fees but didn't give me any receipt till now after asking for my transaction or plan details Larry told me he is sending me via email. Next day found one of my phone number is Port wrong my business name totally wrong, try to create the online account to setup the payment and my email he mention in the account is also wrong. He port someone else number to my plan. Call again to talk to Manager but couldn't hold her. After leaving my call back number still didn't receive the call back. Stop picking up the phone. So I went to the store again to fix the problem and took almost 2 hours to get my number back. Now having issues again with phone service not be able to receive the call on two of the phone lines. Such a horrible experience. If anyone have corporate number please send me. I don't want to visit the store again. read more

First things first, let me just say that Ive never experienced such great customer service from ANY cellular company or store. Ive visited the corporate store on laguna a few times and everytime I did, I had such horrible service and always felt that the employees there were not honest nor did they have the best intentions for their customers. Now this location is NOT corporate however they did a much better job and I trust them with my phone and plan everytime I visit this store. I had an issue where my phone wasnt working and I needed to find a backup phone asap. Joseph and Emily were very helpful and patient as they helped me find a backup. When I came back to get my service switched back to my original phone and Adill helped me with that too. All three employees were very professional, patient, kind and thoughtful. Even though I was really stressed about my phone situation, they really helped me through it and actually made my experience less stressful than it really was. I appreciate these three so much not just as employees but as people. I will definitely keep coming back and will tell others about my great experience. Thank you guys so much! Things to note if you decide to use this store. 1. They will try to add on extras WITHOUT asking you if you want them. By extras, I mean a car charger, case, etc... They told my son it was going to be over $250 out the door and it wasn't until we pressed them about what they were charging us for, did they tell us about all the accessories that they automatically added to our bill without asking if we wanted them. Keep in mind they work on commission. 2. The markup on retail items is rediculous. They tried to sell my son a phone case for $47 that sells for $16.99 on Amazon. 3. They will tell you things before the sale that are untrue. My son told them that he wanted to trade in his old phone. They said that it was worth $115 and the value could be applied to our next bill. After all the paperwork was signed and completed, they then told my son that he could only use the $115 towards accessories. Needless to say, we kept the old phone and ended up getting $131 cash for it at Game Stop. 4. They will charge you a "set up fee" whether you ask them to set up your phone or not. We didn't realize this until we looked at the receipt after we left the store. We didn't ask them to set up anything, and, in reality, my son had to basically finish everything they had started after we got home. Total rip off. If you do decide to do business here-and I recommend that you go to Costco for your cell phone needs-be very aware of the extra charges, hidden fees and outright lies. read more

This store is a joke and the workers they hire are liars and scammers. They make me regret switching to Verizon. One of their workers scammed and lied to my boyfriend and I when I switched over. I was told if I traded in my old Apple Watch that it would be used towards a down payment on my new watch and come to find out the worker never used that money for a down payment and lied to me and now I'm stuck paying for a watch that I never wanted and he forced me to get. They trick you into buying stuff by telling you it's including but they don't tell u it's included at a discount. You end up getting charged for these over priced accessories that you probably wouldn't have wanted in the first place but they tell you it's included. I just bought 2 iPhone, 2 iPad and 2 Apple Watch. This people are scam my wife with $2000 out of the pocket today. At first they said no down payment since they are already checked my credit score but today they said you have to put money down $1018 because of the credit score is not good. This price was not included tax and fee so tax and fee is $600 and also they are lie to my wife they told her has to buy all the accessories to get $600 off for switching the carrier (actually you don't have to but they said you have to buy the accessories) and the bill monthly payment get higher too not as that they mentioned on the first day. It wastes my time to been there 3 time at the store which each time we spent time at least 3 hours to talk to buy a phone. Very sad day for us . The first time, we went to the store on freeport and they couldn't help us. So because we were short on time - we tried this store despite the score. We were SO HAPPY we did!
