Just got my iPhone 6s screen repaired. Bryan did a great job. He works from his home and you can just wait in your car. The repair itself takes about 10-15 minutes. For just $5 more, I got a new screen protector as well. This is the best deal I've found for getting a broken screen replaced. I had actually made an appointment with iCracked online for them to come to my house this morning and fix my broken screen. They no showed!! Lol. But it was a blessing in disguise because I found this business (AppTech) on Yelp. Not only does Bryan charge less than iCracked, he's also very professional. I'll be using AppTech from now on for any future iPhone repair needs.

my daughters phone cracked and I came to have it fixed here. He is very knowledgeable in his work and will not be overpriced. I have been going to him for years to bring my apple products to be worked on and my family has used him as well. Never had to come back for any issues. I was glad to find this business in Elk Grove. I was helped by Bryan who showed me my iPhone was missing over 7 screws before he began to work on fixing the screen (most likely the ShopSmart repair folks I've taken the iPhone to 3 or more times in the past). I never thought to look at the screws since I was looking at the glass after it was fixed. He did a great job and price was super reasonable! He also let me know I didn't have an iPhone6S which is kind of embarrassing cause that's what I believed I had. And he explained how it wasn't which if you are too busy to research what you and your husband got then you can relate. . He replaced the glass in less than 10 minutes. I emailed Brian at AppTech for a semi complicated issue with my iPhone. The complicated part was the logistics because I was sending my phone up from Mexico for repair. I was going to have him mail it back to my son in California. Not only did I not get a response from my email, I phoned twice and left two messages. I provided a toll free number to call me back, nothing. I originally contacted them as their profile made it look like they were professional and would take care of me. I was obviously wrong. I am a person who always cracks their phone. But at the same time, I am a person who wants to fix it themselves to save money. I ended up going to a professional I am so happy I went to Bryan for my cracked iPhone 5s. After calling around to find the best deal. Bryan gave the best price. $55, when the average is around $70. You know that saying, "you get what you paid for." Well I got the BEST SERVICE from any business I've been to for an AMAZING PRICE. Bryan was super friendly and knowledgable. He answered all of my questions without hesitation. He fixed my phone in 10 minutes. After using a cracked phone for a few days, my newly fixed phone felt so smooth. LOL. Bryan said if I had any troubles to message him. The following day, I noticed that my main camera was black and had an icon say "flash disabled, needs to cool down before use." My front (selfie) camera was just fine. Right away, thinking it was probably from the screen replacement, I messaged Bryan. He told me that the main camera is not connected to any of the screen replacement deconstruction, but he will take a look at it for me. We met the next day and he was willing to open the phone back up to see if there was something loose. Right when he took the phone out of the case, he noticed it was hot to touch, which is not normal. He opened it up and replaced the camera to see it was truly the camera that was broken and not a wiring issue. Low and behold, the replacement camera worked just fine. It was just a coincidence that my camera messed up after the screen was replaced. Bryan was super awesome and replacement my camera!! LIFESAVER! I use my camera a lot, like most people do and I honestly wanted to give him a hug because I was so happy. To sum it all up: Go to Bryan for all of your repairs. He has the BEST PRICES and the BEST SERVICE. I would definitely come back if I need repairs for anything in the future. And that's coming from a person who likes to do things herself to save money. My daughter dropped her phone (with an otter case still on it) from the bed to the floor today and totally cracked the entire front until shards of glass were poking out and cutting her fingers. The Iphone 6 plus s was absolutely unusable and we had to tape the entire front to even lift it up. I looked on Craigs and found a place nearby our home that offered to fix the screen for only 50 bucks. This was 100 less than when we called apple, plus we could go right away vs waiting in line and driving all the way to Arden Fair. Brian replaced it and put a safety glass cover on top PLUS fixed my own glass cover which had a small crack with new for a total of 60 bucks in less time than it took us to enjoy sushi at a local restaurant. Bryan was awesome! Even though both of our days were a little busy, he still stayed in contact and got it done. He did an amazing job and he definitely kept his word! The pricing was reasonable. Very fast and efficient. The screen that he put on did have a small scratch near the home button, but you can tell it was NOT HIS FAULT! It was the manufacturers default! It wasn't necessarily a scratch, more of a chip in the glass like it wasn't made right, if that makes any sense. I contacted him to let him know and he offered to give me a free screen protector. They quickly ordered the correct replacement screen for my model and had me back in just two days later to complete the repair. After the fix, my phone did show a notification stating: "Unknown Part: The display for this iPhone is not recognized. An Apple Authorized Service Provider can repair or replace the display to restore full functionality." Personally, I see this more as Apple's way of limiting repair options rather than a reflection on the quality of the work. The shop was able to work around the notification/issue, and restored my phone so that it was fully functional again. Of course, if you have the budget to go directly through Apple, that will always ensure an original part and complete manufacturer support. But for those of us who can't afford to replace a device every time life happens, this repair was a reliable, cost-effective solution.

#UPDATE After a little over a week of use. The caveats below…read morestill persist. One thing I've also been noticing is my screen will sometimes lag heavily. This goes for watching a video as well. Video will be choppy/laggy and this never happened to my original screen. Sometimes if I charge my phone and play music and use Apple Maps, the screen will also lag heavily I'll. Again this never happened with original screen. I've also noticed greatly that my battery % is being drained a lot faster. Even if it's regular use like how I did with my original Apple screen. I suspect it's the aftermarket screen. However, the 4 star review will still stay. Just an update. Will probably buy a new phone soon but this is still decent for $85. Great customer service. Fast service. I replaced my iPhone 15pro screen due to cracked screen. The only downside that resulted in 4/5 star is the aftermarket screen. It's great for a quick on the go if you don't want to spend $180+ for an original screen. The lighting on the aftermarket screen does have a light blue led color to it and it is not as vibrant as an orignal Apple screen. This you can tell. I don't mind this as my eyes will get adjusted to it. However, my biggest gripe to where I can tell a big difference on is the lag input on swiping. Just swiping the Home Screen to the next screen, the apps become blurry and it isn't a smooth transition. Another, big issue is the touch screen. I did put another screen protector layer on top of the new after market seal (the seal is part of a warranty depending on if it breaks or not). So I decided to try and protect my screen further. Upon doing so, I can tell a big difference in typing my letters especially the letters to the side of the screen "A a S P L & backspace". I now have to press my screen ALOT harder to register the letter I want. I find myself having to backspace and retype my words a lot more as pressing the letters do not register sometimes. Sometimes swiping from bottom screen up to close an app also does not work and I would have to press my screen hard to swipe up. Overall, this is a good purchase for a quick $85 on the go. If you do not mind the caveats I have listed here (maybe it's just my screen) then $85 is great. Other than that, you may want to spend more and get an original Apple screen.

So then I went poking around in the device itself, and it had a copy of Minecraft inside AND there's a sticker on the back with someone's name on it.... not mine. Seems like whatever happened, they got our Switches mixed up, so now this woman has my Switch (and has probably factory reset it by now) and I have hers. THANKFULLY most of my saves are in the cloud, so the only true loss in all of this is my pokemon saves, since those won't let me backup to my memory card and/or the cloud... but ugh that's still quite a few hours of lost playtime. They quickly ordered the correct replacement screen for my model and had me back in just two days later to complete the repair. After the fix, my phone did show a notification stating: "Unknown Part: The display for this iPhone is not recognized. An Apple Authorized Service Provider can repair or replace the display to restore full functionality." Personally, I see this more as Apple's way of limiting repair options rather than a reflection on the quality of the work. The shop was able to work around the notification/issue, and restored my phone so that it was fully functional again. Of course, if you have the budget to go directly through Apple, that will always ensure an original part and complete manufacturer support. But for those of us who can't afford to replace a device every time life happens, this repair was a reliable, cost-effective solution.

#UPDATE After a little over a week of use. The caveats below…read morestill persist. One thing I've also been noticing is my screen will sometimes lag heavily. This goes for watching a video as well. First, I checked online at Batteries Plus /$119 but they were closed for four more hours. I then contacted Bryan with AppTech Pro who had a great price and had immediate availability for me to drop it off. I drove right over (only 2 minute drive from my house...can't beat that in EG). He's located near Stonelake Elementary in Laguna West. He was very professional and funny (told me if he couldn't fix it in 10 minutes it would be free). It would have been nice to get a freebie, but he took only 9 minutes. He also gave me great suggestions on better phone cases and screen protectors. He takes cash only I think, no credit cards. Ive been to Apptech a couple times to fix my phones. And get some software things done. Always very professional and there whenever I needed them, So this weekend I went out and was getting in my car and couldn't find my phone.. I get out and the next car in the stall ran it over (by accident it must have fell somehow when I was walking. I have a special needs daughter and she has cerebral palsy and she's very rough on her phones. I went to the Apple Store and it was a joke they basically said they couldn't do nothing and I have to replace the phone. I called I called around many different text but Bryan made an appointment the same day and got the phone up and working within 15-20 minutes . He was so awesome and understanding. Kids with special needs obsess and need things done right away, they don't have a time of waiting ability.
