They are nice and they are hot. But I don't think they actually really take care of the phone. Or like legit fix it I got my phone screen replaced and it's been acting super weird and strange like it won't update and stuff like that. I don't know what they did but they do not. I don't think they do it right I would not recommend. And they charge a lot $220. My phone won't even update anymore. My apps cannot be put back on it. The ones that were on it before they fixed it not worth it. Do not come here. read more

I brought my daughter's phone here to have the screen replaced. The service was quick. We got the cheapest screen, because the more expensive screens were getting close to questioning whether to just buy a new phone. The cheapest screen does not come with any warranty, it's thicker than the original and the color seems to be off. I will probably trade the phone in for a new model. Prices were fair, and the job was done in less then a day (my phone looks good and how I was hoping after the repair) For those who've never been here before, I'd note two things: 1) You can't pay with a regular credit card, I ended up paying with Zelle. 2) You DO NOT have to go up any stairs to get to the store. While waiting for a new screen protector, I've seen these guys go out of their way to help families--even when it's inconvenient or not profitable for the business. They still do their best to help the community, and that says a lot about their character. They also checked out my laptop and helped me clean out storage, delete large files, clear downloads, remove unused apps, empty trash, clear system caches, and turn off unnecessary startup/background apps. They even walked me through resetting SMC and NVRAM and showed me which apps were using too much power. They checked my battery health and confirmed it was completely fine--no upselling, just honesty. Fell into Lake Natoma the day before Labor Day and when I got out my camera lenses all had moisture in it and I lost Face ID. This was for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I thought I would wait it out to dry but the next day I had the same issues. I hit a few places and Hot Tech responded quick and offered to do it on Labor Day. I came here to get my iPhone camera lens fixed and then came another time to get my son's iPad fixed. They are very knowledgeable and courteous and will give you a quote before committing. My son's iPad stopped working after a hard drop on the ground and they had to fix the bracket and also decided they would change the battery for free as it was still under warranty from the last time I got the battery changed. I did a very last minute drop in for my ipad that I thought is unfixable as it was bent and crushed. However Dariy told me to bring it in and he'll take a look at it which to my luck he did! I am so thankful as I did not want to buy another one as it was very expensive and the generation of my ipad is no longer being made. My son has a Nintendo Switch OLED that was having a black screen issue and needed repair, if anyone has a 6 yr old with a Switch that's broken, you feel my pain. Dropped my iPhone 7 Plus and screen was not functioning. Wouldn't even let me turn off phone or unlock screen. Yelp messaged these guys and sent a photo of what it looked like. They were immediately able to tell me that it was the LCD. They quoted me $100 Plus tax. My budget was not ready for that, but I knew I needed it fixed before the wedding that I would be heading to the next day... they worked with me on price since I was a returning customer. They had it fixed within 30 min so I only went without a functioning phone for a short amount of time. These guys are great and I will go to them and recommend to my friends and fam for any phone disasters. Lastly, when they were finished they asked if there were any other issues and I told them that it overheats and the screen freaks out sometimes and randomly opens apps and calls people. They said it could be a defective board or something. Not sure if the LCD fix had anything to do with it or maybe the season change, but I have not been dealing with any overheating issues since then. read more
