I needed a glass LCD/glass replacement for my iPhone 6 plus. The LCD screen was going bad from water damage and a drop directly to the face of phone. The screen wasn't responding but the glass was in perfect condition. The initial service was great. Ricardo arrived 10 mins early and got started right away. The pricing was competitive and as an added bonus Ricardo gave me a Yelp discount. The replacement took about 25 - 30 mins. Customer beware, the glass is fragile compared to OEM and the home button sits more recessed than normal. From experience, I've dropped my phone from a standing height multiple times on various surfaces. Luckily the OEM gorillas glass did not shatter or crack. Two days after the glass replacement, I had my phone on the passenger seat, I reached for my phone to move it to my lap and accidentally hit the corner of the phone to a ceramic cup that was in the center cup holder. I was shocked, I got a hair line crack from such a low impact tap. I was concerned with the durability and quality of the glass, so I called Mr. iPhone Mobile. Ricardo answered, I explained what had happened and my concerns of the weak glass. I was expecting Ricardo to give me options, however his communication from the beginning was hostile and not professional. Ricardo spoke to me as if I was being dishonest and generalized my experience with all issues that would cause a glass to crack. I didn't ask for a free replacement or discount, so I'm not sure why he spoke to me in this manner. Ricardo stated that under warranty, cracked glass is not covered and that he stands by his product. I didn't disagree with him, as a tech person myself I wanted to have an open discussion on the specs of the glass. At the end of our discussion Ricardo says "some customer will be satisfied and some will not." Be cautious when going with a non certified apple repair company. Up front let me just say I am disappointed with the quality of the product and the customer service. I called to get my iPhone 8 Plus screen repaired. It had major cracks. We scheduled a time and 5 mins before the appointment the next day he text to reschedule because of car issues. Inconvenience for me but I still rescheduled for the next day. I was trusting the positive reviews from yelp to supply a good product. I was not available when he arrived but my family was. He fixed my phone and at the time I felt like my phone was good as new. We tipped him well for a service we thought we were satisfied with. I immediately placed a quality, durable protective case and tempered glass on my phone. A few days later I look down at my phone and there was a hair line fracture from the corner to the middle of the screen. I had NOT dropped my phone whatsoever!!!!!! When I contacted him I let him know what happens and he said he does not cover that and if I wanted to get it replaced again he would give me a discount. I asked how much and he said $60. I still think he was professional and fixed my phone in a timely matter, but unfortunately I'm kicking myself for not just sucking it up and paying a few extra bucks at the Apple store. Now my phone doesn't dim when I have it up to my face, so I randomly dial numbers and try to FaceTime people.
