This is probably the best phone repair service in the greater Sacramento area. Marcel was extremely professional, punctual and definitely an expert in iphone repair! My phone was in pretty bad shape and he made it like new, my sensors were even off not reading my typing or sensing my finger at times, he was able to fix it no problem. Plus he is mobile and can come to you if you're in the Sacramento area! Very convenient. read more

My iPhone fell out of my pocket on a Monday and the front screen cracked. By Tuesday afternoon the next day, it was as good as new thanks to Marcel. When this happened, I immediately went on my favorite site; Yelp and looked up iPhone screen repairs. iPhone Restored was the first thing that came up. I HAD TO contact Marcel after reading all of the great reviews. I shot him a text and told him what had happened and what kind of phone I had. He wanted to meet up the next day in the early afternoon at a local Starbucks. We met up, he replaced the front screen of my iPhone right in front of my eyes within 20 minutes, I paid him and we went our separate ways. He was a pleasure to talk to. Marcel knows exactly what he was doing and is professional. He even recommended great cases to get to prevent something like this from happening in the future. Of course, I had to take his advice so I got myself a lifeproof case on eBay. If something happens to your iPhone and you need it fixed ASAP, call or text Marcel. He will fix your problem quickly and efficiently. read more

Excellent customer service. I've had my phone screen replaced by Marcel twice and each time I'm impressed with how efficient and quick he is plus super friendly. Highly recommend his services and he'll drive to you. read more

Repaired My Spider-Cracked Screen for $80 SITREP Tripped, caught myself, but not before letting go of my iPhone 4S that was in my hand, and watching it smash face first onto an uneven cement jag abutted off the sidewalk. THE SETUP I should first note that this wasn't the first time I'd drop my iPhone. Usually the rubberized Jam Case has protected my iPhone 95% of the time when the impact is on a relatively flat hard surface of a floor or sidewalk. And I STILL swear by the Jam Case just to be fair to it's protective quality. But I don't want a hard front cover on my iPhone. Makes the phone's profile too thick in my shirt or pant packets, and I don't like having to fumble things open. I recognize that there are those freak accidents where no amount of planning is going to be able to protect a phone: * Such as when I left my iPhone 2 on top of my car roof - and forgot it was still there when I got in my car after loading the truck, accelerated up the freeway onramp, and when hitting 50 MPH, heard the *rattle, kerthunk, and kerplunk* as the iPhone fell of the roof and I watched it smash into smithereens on the freeway. Luckily, I had an upgrade and got my iPhone 3GS. * And in this case, dropping the phone over such an odd configuration of warped sidewalk (which also caused my tripping) caused the phone to land on a jagged uneven surface such that the glass was the impact point first. APPOINTMENT & REPAIR All I needed to know is that my friend Pon had valued this talented techie independent vendor (NOT part of the Apple or AT&T mafia) for her own repair and so I called Marcel right away, left a voice message, and he texted me back with some suggested times and the specifics of my iPhone and the nature of the needed repair. I got an appointment set up for the very next morning at Insight Coffee Roasters for 9:30am, we met, and Marcel went right to work with a replacement "smart glass screen" (he explained to me in detail how amazing this touch-screen technology is, created & manufactured IN THE GLASS), lots of miniature tools, and a great conversation about both our extensive family histories ranging all over the Mediterranean. Within 30 minutes, he had finished and my iPhone 4s was a good as new. RESPECT Because Marcel's technical work is very discreet and vulnerable to duplication, I am following his request and not posting pictures of the process. Suffice it to say that his work is very efficient, diligent, professional, and you get more than your money's worth, and he saves you the headache - as you would have to endure in the "old days" - of getting, and by "getting" I mean "PAYING", for an entire new phone. THE LOWDOWN My hats off to Marcel and "iPhone Repair" for a great job at repairing my iPhone 4s. read more

Straight out of a movie: I texted him, he texted back, we met at Starbucks, we chatted over power rangers, 15 minutes later I'm happy, and I gladly paid for his service. By service, I mean replacing a cracked iPhone screen. Excellent job! read more

I didn't even meet this person, but he still deserves 5 stars. My phone wasn't getting reception anywhere, and after 4 phone calls to Verizon tech support and one store visit, I was finally told that I needed a new phone because my antenna appeared to be broken. I texted Marcel and after he asked me a few questions, he gave me advice on a different way to hard reset my phone (the standard "erase all" button on my phone kept displaying an error message). It didn't work at first but it worked after 2 more attempts - and my phone is fine! It was a software issue, not a hardware one. I'm so thankful that he was so helpful without wasting his or my time, and gave me free advice! Top notch. read more

Second time using them and they are always so quick and professiknal in fixing my Apple products

My iPhone is broke story occurred Wednesday night at midnight. After a quick Yelp scan of iPhone repair, I found iPhone Repair, a mobile service for fixing your broke iPhone. Thank you, Yelp! Miracle for me, yay. In less than 12 hours, my phone glass screen was new, fixed, perfect. And as other reviewers noted, he's fun to talk to about anything! We chatted about travel. And then, like the professional that he is, he fixes your phone at the same time. read more

Through Yelp, I located Marcel and his iPhone repair business. He was prompt to respond to my request, was very polite and social during the repair process at a local Starbucks, and completed the repair very quickly. I was very happy with the screen repair that Marcel provided. It was easy to set up an appointment through text messaging. He arrived at the local cafe on time, and went to work on the phone. He knows what he's doing, and he is fast. My iPhone 6 plus is just like new, thanks to his service. The price was right, the mobile service was convenient, and Marcel's work is excellent. 5:00 pm: My iPhone dropped and shattered into a million pieces (insert devastation) 5:10 pm: I find Marcel on Yelp and leave a message (insert hopeless sigh). 5:15 pm: Marcel calls me back and gives estimated time and FIXED price. 5:30 pm: I meet Marcel at a coffee shop. 6:00 pm: My phone looks like it just got shipped from China - BRAND NEW! I wanted to hug Marcel out of joy, but kept it professional and shook his hand instead. read more

I doubt all the reviews that write about Marcel here. First time i called and texted was a year ago. He respond the next day and said i should bring it to Apple (for some reasons). Second time (i shattered my phone again) i texted and called but again only go straight to voice mail, waited for couple hours with no responses. You know how pathetic it is when we shattered the phone and really want it to be repaired. There are a bunch of stores but you just have to sit and wait for HIS text. No professional at all. The price of repair is the same with Apple then, why should this still in business. read more

Marcel is amazing. I couldn't believe I dropped my iPhone 6 plus and just stood there staring at the shattered screen in shock. Found him on yelp and called and left him a voicemail since it was past his office hours. He texted me immediately and was accommodating enough to meet me that hour at the local Starbucks. He met me there on time, entertained my four year old and I was out of there in 20 min. Thank you!!! read more

Marcel was GREAT! I text him early this morning and made an appointment to repair my iPhone 6 screen at 2:00pm. He agreed to meet me at my work, arrived early, and had the entire thing done in about 15 minutes. You can't beat his professional demeanor and willingness to meet you just about anywhere in Sacramento. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking to get their iPhone screen repaired. read more

Fast and convenient--well worth the reasonable price. Marcel was great...honest, professional, accommodating and personable. My office was a bit out of his service area but made the trip anyway. We chatted for 20 mins and it was done! Thanks again Marcel!!! read more

So glad I found Marcel on yelp!! He is really responsive and flexible about timing/location. I dropped my iPhone and shattered the screen, and Marcel was able to fix it the same day that I texted him about his availability. His pricing is also amazing. I had asked for quotes from Apple and some other midtown repair shops, which were at least $120 to have it fixed. Marcel's rate ($80 for the iphone 5) was WAY cheaper and included tax. After watching him fix the screen, I can't imagine doing it myself without losing a screw or messing something up horribly. Now the phone looks brand new and works great. THANKS! Definitely contact Marcel if you need an iPhone screen replaced. read more

I hands down recommend Marcel's services. He is extremely professional and knows exactly what he is doing. It's almost effortless for him as he can repair your phone and carry a conversation without skipping a beat. He met me at Starbucks and he was done replacing the speakers on my phone before I finished my cup of coffee. His prices are extremely reasonable. I recommended him to my husband who had his screen and battery replaced and my husband was surprisingly very happy with Marcel's services. read more

Every review on here is accurate and Marcel/Iphone Repair is worthy of every Star on Yelp. Just as advertised, I text Marcel and he responded right away and was available to meet me within 15 minutes. He worked around my schedule and came to a coffee shop right next to my work in downtown Sacramento. Just as advertised, he was prompt, courteous and very professional and repaired my Iphone 6 screen in under 15 minutes. I would recommend his service to any friends or family for his knowledge, service and professionalism. One thing to note that I asked him is that Marcel gets his screens from the same manufacturer in China where Apple has their screens made so you are not sacrificing any quality with generic parts like some other phone repair facilities. 5 stars for sure! read more

After a month of trying to conceal the embarrassing spiderwebbed crack on my phone, I finally located an honest repair company. The owner, Marcel, agreed to meet me at a Starbucks of my choosing, and like every positive review of Marcel, he did the following: -was easily accessible by text -updated me on his ETA -was extremely professional and courteous -easily replaced my dilapidated screen without a hitch -held a pleasant conversation fielding any tech questions I had while replacing the phone -and best of all, he replaced my phone in front of my eyes (read: he's not plugging my phone anywhere and downloading my data) This is the best option you have go to replace your iPhone. Marcel is honest and can replace your phone blindfolded. Hopefully I don't smash my phone again, but if I do, I know who to call. read more

Marcel was awesome and an excellent communicator! One call and he immediately got back to me. 2 hours later we met, and he went straight to work. 10 minutes later my iPhone 6 screen was replaced and I was out the door. Thanks again for your skilled hands and pleasant demeanor. read more

Wow. Just wow. I dropped my iphone on vacation, and was seriously considering just buying a new one, but...who wants to spend $500 of their vacation money on a phone. Got back Monday night, sent Marcel an email on Tuesday evening, and we met Wednesday morning at a Starbuck's near my house. Everything was repaired within 20 minutes, and for just $85 (they were having a special). Marcel is professional, thorough, and engaging. We chatted the whole time he was replacing the screen. I can't say enough good things about the service. If you're thinking about getting your screen replaced rather than buying a new phone, don't hesitate to contact Marcel!!! I'm so glad I did. read more

I texted Marcel this morning about my iphone 5s cracked screen. He replied promptly and was nice enough to give me a early discount ( discount was for tmr for Veteran's Day). Marcel gave me the best price in Sacramento. I've called many stores before and was quoted $90-$100 to replace a cracked screen. i scheduled an appointment with Marcel at 2pm at Starbucks, but got there a bit early. I waited for about 10 minutes and when he arrived he immediately started fixing my phone. He was very friendly and knew what he was doing. My phone was brand new in less then 30 mins! I would recommend his service to everyone! read more

The bad news is I shattered my screen AGAIN. The good news is I found this business on Yelp and everything was better again, lickety split! I was contacted right away, appointment made within an hour at a Starbucks 5 minutes from my house. He was done in about 20 minutes and has a Square so I could pay with a card right there. Holy cow what an awesome experience! Marcel is a wizard phone surgeon - the whole process was easy and quick, but very thorough. We met at a Starbucks and in less than a half hour the phone was repaired! I should never be allowed to touch electronics due to my eternal clumsiness. The old Fisher Price baby phones are more my level. But now I can appear normal like all of the other cool creatures on the planet. Absolutely would use again (cmon, I break everything, it's bound to happen) and recommend to everyone! read more

My wife dropped and shattered her screen over the weekend. Rather than buy a new phone, I knew we could find someone to replace the screen. Luckily, her phone still functioned well enough to call Marcel after we found him on Yelp. He met my wife at a secure public location (Starbucks on Alhambra) the same day she called. Within 10 minutes, he had the screen completely repaired and looking brand new. He did an absolutely amazing job. I can't stress that enough. Highly recommend. read more

iPhone Repair - Before and After. Marcel is legit! - Electronics Repair Near Me

This is my first yelp review ever, but after dealing with Marcel I felt this was the least I could do. I had dropped my phone last night and shattered the screen, this was a first for me. So I looked around the next morning on yelp for a couple iPhone repair stores and got a couple quotes, some claimed it would be a couple days before having the necessary parts available. And then I came across Marcel on Yelp. After reading all the positive reviews I decided to give him a shot. I texted him first thing in the morning and even though he was closed, he made the effort to respond right away and we arranged to meet up that same day in the afternoon. He actually came all the way out to my work to accommodate my schedule, so it was very convenient for me. Marcel was very polite, clean and very knowledgable. Within seconds he started working on replacing the screen, and after about 10 minutes I had a brand new screen on my phone. He was polite and held a conversation with me during the whole process. I hope that I never break my screen again, but if I do I know who to contact. I will be recommending him to my friends if they ever have an issue with their phones. Thanks again Marcel! read more

I can't say enough great things about this experience. I met Marcel at a local Starbucks and watched the entire process. He knows exactly what he's doing and can even walk you through the process as he fixes your phone. I had a crack in my screen and he fixed it in less than 20 minutes. I did some research prior to calling Marcel--including looking up some Do-It-Yourself options; but I couldn't be happier with my choice. Save yourself the trouble and leave it to someone who knows what he's doing! read more

I dropped my cell phone and broke the glass. I waited a couple weeks since I was traveling. I called Marcel when I came back and he called me back the same day and we set up and appointment to fix the screen. He brought everything, fixed it right in front of me, as we exchanged small talk from education to politics. There were some issues after he fixed the phone, something about the digitizer (sp?) (not his fault but an manufacturer's error) so I called him back the next day and told him my issue, he set up another time to meet me the same day and fixed it again. (the Screen needed to be replaced.) He a is a great person with a kind personality and great integrity. Thanks again for the repair! He was pretty much awesome. If you need to get a phone repaired, but don't have enough time give him a call.! read more

The most convient way to fix an iPhone in Sacramento by far. Marcel was able to fix my shattered 5s screen hours after it broke for less than the Apple store would have chareged. Big thanks to Marcel. read more

I had a great experience with Marcel. I broke the screen of my iPhone 5 while having a little too much fun on Halloween, and it was so ugly I decided I needed to get it fixed even though it still worked. I sent him a text and he replied quickly. We decided to meet at a Starbucks that is a few blocks from my apartment. He was on time, and totally fixed my screen in about 20 minutes. Its expensive, but the convenience and good work made it totally worth it. Hopefully I won't have to use him again... but lets face it, I drink enough that I probably will! read more

I dropped my 4s a couple of weeks ago and was happy when I was able to finally get a hold of Marcel on Monday. Marcel met me at a Starbucks and was able to quickly replace my broken front screen. This is my boyfriends review. So I cracked my screen a few days ago at work after a long rough day. I got my I phone a month ago and didn't get insurance. Yes yes, I should've got apple insurance but nonetheless here I am with a broken screen fumbling with what to do. In watching you tube and reading the multiple sites and reviews there was no way I was going to try to do this myself. Inexperienced and afraid my clumsiness well cause further damage I needed a professional. So I got multiple quotes from various companies and independent repair people and I can say MARCEL is AWESOME!! Extremely convenient for being in the east sac/midtown area. Plus BEST PRICE POINT!!!! He was extremely informative and very easy going person to talk to. 30-45 MIN is all he needs then you got a brand new phone without killing your wallet!
