Found this on Craigslist to replace an iPhone 7plus cracked screen. Met Bryan at his house and was told to wait outside while he work on it. Definitely felt a little iffy in the beginning but still went through with it. Few minutes Went by and he came back outside to point out little things about my phone, telling me about a missing screw (job done from previous cracked screen replaced by someone else that I wasn't aware of). This is a home based business which is fine but it does negatively impact the convenience of the repair. The owner is nice enough and initially the repair on my iPhone 8(screen replacement) seemed great but problems were soon to come. I asked about the price of an OEM quality screen over the phone and he gave me a price but when I got there he said he was out of stock. A little annoyed about the lack of transparency, but okay, I'll take an aftermarket. I should have not accepted an aftermarket. Nothing but problems from the second day I've had it and the owner does not want to honor the warranty he promised. So, honestly I don't know where to start. I have an iPhone that needed a replacement screen and this guy was an affordable option. The screen was replaced in a timely fashion, maybe 20 minutes, but this is an in home business. Therefore, myself and the person I arrived with had to wait outside which made this exchange awkward and uncomfortable. Especially with it being in a gated community.
