Dear Verizon Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at one of your store locations. I went in to pay my bill since my account was recently changed to "cash only." However, the employee assisting me informed me that he could not accept cash payments, which was already frustrating considering the inconvenience of having to come into the store to make a payment. To make matters worse, I was charged a service fee -- which doesn't seem fair when I'm the one going out of my way to pay my bill in person. When I asked the representative a few questions regarding my account, his response was simply "I don't know." That level of customer service is disappointing and reflects a lack of proper training. I strongly suggest that management provides additional training to ensure employees are knowledgeable and equipped to handle customer inquiries professionally. Customers should feel supported and confident that their issues will be addressed effectively, not dismissed. Thank you for taking the time to review this matter. This store my family member and I went in to the store to pick up both of our phones. Came to find out that the phone that was ready was mine and my family members phone was back order. When they had called us told us that our phone had arrived but did not specify which phone up until we had gone in person to find out. Also, to add more one minute the guy that helped put my family and I told us that one minute I would need to trade in my phone then shortly after told my mom I didn't need too and that I could keep both our phones. read more

He didn't hesitate to troubleshoot and make it happen, even though I had almost given up. His kindness, patience, and problem-solving skills truly impressed me. Placed an order online and they were out of stock of one of our phones, they did not cancel the order or call us to let us know. Told me I had to call Verizon to settle it all. The young Asian guy who helped me set up and replace my iPhone, is no longer here. He was beyond awesome. Now, seems no one who WAS HERE TO HELP, is working here. A young man is here who said " no cannot help you, come back tomorrow" nope. I have spent HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH VERIZON,, not giving any more of my time or my FUEL TO GET HELP. BOTTOM LINE,, they are charging customers the highest rate, but your HELP,, is only going to be a recording or a CHAT,, no one is TRAINED TO HELP. ONLY PASS YOU along till you just give up. My husband & I went in to upgrade our phones. Larry was very helpful & professional. He took his time to go over our offers. My husband had a stressful morning so he was pretty rude to Larry. But that didn't stop Larry from providing excellent customer service. I also work in customer care, so Ive had my fair share of rude customers. Larry would be someone I would hire. I recommend this store! The staff (Phylicia) took the time to explain my plan in detail. I'm a veteran and she helped me get my discount. I don't change phones often and I needed my plan updated to the current 5G plan. Her knowledge and experience of making sure that I got everything I need for a new phone. The worst customer service possible. We checked in around 4. They told us they would text us when it's our turn and so we were waiting outside. Of course they didn't text us and so we ended up waiting almost 1.5-2 hours. There were 2 associates (out of which 1 was a trainee) to begin with when we walked in. One of them left the store at 4;30pm leaving a single trainee associate behind to help the customers. At 5:10pm, the associate asked us what we were looking for and said they close at 6 but, hello I've been waiting for almost 1.5 hours now! She then came back 10mins later with a grand idea- telling us to book an appointment for tomm because they won't be able to accommodate us today. Like seriously??!! All we wanted was to switch my number to Verizon but, never again will I go to Verizon! Please don't go here unless you want to waste your time. I expected better from Verizon! We then went to T-Mobile close by, they had 3 associates willing to happily help us even though they were scheduled to close in 10mins. I made an appt and went to this location today. I saw Sterling. He was wonderful. Even tho I took a badly smashed Galaxy S9 which prevented all the easy ways to transfer everything to a new phone, he quickly did work arounds to accomplish this. Just to be upfront, I've always enjoyed Verizon's service and their customer service over the phone has been superb for me throughout all my time with them. However, Victra is not a true representative of Verizon but is instead a retailer with the Verizon name--two different entities under one name. With that being said, this store sucks and their customer service skills are extremely poor. I called in awhile back asking if I could pay my final bill and I was told to come in to the store because "oh sure we can do that." Dude even put me on hold to ask if that's what they do there. I go in to the store only to be met with a "no we don't do that here, you'll have to go to a Verizon corporate store," after they realized there was no incentive to help because I no longer had an existing account with Verizon. As a former representative on the sales floor, I could easily see right through the scheme they were trying to pull and they shifted me out as soon as they realized my intentions. To say that it wasn't possible to help me out because they "didn't have access to do so" is a load of nonsense, they either need to be retrained or the level of standards to be a victra employee have sunk to new lows. Frankly if I decided to join sales again I could easily do their job better than them and I could prove it, what a sham to call yourself a manager but yet you don't even fully know the operations of the job your employed to do. I displayed my frustration on the floor saying I thought it was ridiculous to do that to me considering I was a former rep: I couldn't believe the lack of effort considering no one was in the store but two employees and myself. As for upper management, I did not catch any names I'll be straight up but it was a Mexican male and an Asian female; this is not meant to be racist--after all I'm Mexican-American myself--but in case you were wondering about the employees I encountered. A bit of bitter ending to such a good time (service wise) with Verizon that I couldn't just walk away without giving others a heads up before having to deal with shady salespeople. So if you want to pay a bill and want to avoid the stores, or maybe your final payment is due and they tell you to go to the store to make this payment, you can simply look up "Verizon pay my bill," and you'll be able to proceed from there with the necessary details. This store in particular does not care about your time and they do not value you as a person considering they made me drive to the store in an effort to make money. Their work ethic is not respectable and they really bring no value to the table when they're either going to tell you they can't do something or that you have to a "Verizon corporate store." So why waste your time here or at any Victra for that matter? Trust me, there are countless times that they do this stuff to people I'm just speaking up about it. 2/24/2021 The worse service when to the store on Saturday and they system went down I understand it and when back next day because the person that was helping me out was nice and check the promotion. After I got my taxes on the 3 phones and it seem higher but when I was looking at my invoice after few days later they charge 19.99 per line to set up but they never did only activate the phone and I did everything else when I got home but I still got charged that. When I went back the following weekend I was told that the manager will call me but it never happen after 2 days been calling the store with no answer I went in and they were not even with customer and wasn't answering calls. After going to the store after 3 days got told manager is not here today and he will be back tomorrow and he will call you or u could come back. Where is the customer service here. This was the worst Customer experience ever. Manger (Christian) is untrustworthy. We brought over 4 new lines, were told we would get $200.00 in rebates per new line activation, that's 800.00 in total. Months later when they were not received I came into the store about 4+5 times he was never there, and I was never called back by him. I finally made one of his employees call him on the spot so I can talk to him. He said he would investigate and get back to me. All he said to me was was he made an honest mistake and he was sorry. In NO WAY WAS THIS MADE RIGHT, OR COMPENSATED IN ANY WAY. NO ACT OF GOOD WILL. NOTHING. He,CHRISTIAN, the manger of the store, completely misled me with his promise of $200 in rebates FOR SWITCHING. READ ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF REBATES. DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORD FOR IT. I SPENT HOURS AND DAYS WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE for 2 months, they finally informed me months later that the issue was that we did not qualify for the 200.00 because we did not purchases phones with a VALUES of $500.00 or more. but we did purchase 3 new phones for lesser value. WE WERE NOT TOLD THIS WAS A TERM AND CONDITION OF THE 200.00 rebate. BAD REPRESENTATION OF THE MANGER. I will never go into this location again.. Store manager, Morgan, and his representative, Jason, were terrific. They helped us decide on the right phones for us without simply selling us the most expensive items in the store. We ended up with the Google Pixel XL. They did not have the color that my wife wanted and Morgan called another store that had it. Jason drove right over and picked it up for us. They ended up staying after closing to help us transfer all our data from the old phones to the new ones. Great guys, funny, entertaining, knowledgeable and very helpful. This store scam people. I do not recommend anyone to go there. I have to pay for something that manager told me to take home and try and if I do not like or I can return it. He did not tell me he will charge me restocking fee for something that he forces me to take home. He also told me my bill will only go up $40 but my bill went up $90. Do not go there if you want honest people to service you, they will scam you with activation and restocking, and other hidden fees. They are not there help, they just want your hard working money. I went in to Verizon today to get a new phone case. I was approached right off the bat by Will. He asked how i was doing and what i was looking for, he helped be by showing me all the phone case some of which he has used and tried. From Gear4 to Scooch to Spec i finally agreed to go with the Clear Otter-box. During the process he also helped me reset the password on my account since i was having trouble logging in.
