Not his problem, it seems. The entire time I was there he would not stop yelling at me. I could not focus on finding shoes to buy at all. 1st incident--I walked in with an empty Skechers blue bag--he thought I was stealing and yelled "hey, return is that way". I showed him the bag and he said "Ok". No apologies. Maybe at least look closely before accusing? Anyways, fine. 2nd incident--I tried on various shoes, and some shoes were left on the floor in one of the aisle as I try various sizes. He yelled "Hey this is not your home, you can't have shoes on the floor, pick them back up. People need to walk this isn't your home". What does my home got to do with anything? Fine, I moved the shoes, did not feel like engaging him in an argument. At this point I was fed up with him yelling at me, I was trying to focus on looking through all the shoe options and finding the right style and size, and there is constantly this person buzzing at me from behind, I could not focus on finding a pair of shoes to buy. So I left the store 3rd incident--I walked out of the store, and he was also walking out to his car (maybe on his break? Don't know) and, form outside the store in the parking lot, he continued to yell at me for trying shoes on the floor within the aisle. I was done with this Skechers I got in my car and left. Notice that the entire time, I did not say anything back to the security guard, he just kept yelling and yelling and I pretty much ignored him. It was purely one-sided, I did not say anything to him. I voted with my wallet and left. It sucks because the other employees at this Skechers location were quite friendly, and took the time to help me find a new pair of shoes. The next day I went to another Skechers location and bought the pair of shoes I was interested in. What's the point of having a security guard, if the guard prevents customers from buying shoes? At that point you are just paying someone's salary in exchange for them lowering your sales.

Every time, service has always been helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, the store is clean, and the aisles are spacious -- easy place for kids to try on shoes. Tip: if you don't see what you're looking for, even if you're not sure what that is because your 6 year old's stated preferences are moving targets, ask a staff person for suggestions or guidance. They don't proactively try to get in your business, but once you engage them they are on your mission with you.

So the "Jeggings" section was the more standard fit that she was looking for. I also noticed that American Eagle will take your old jeans and give you a discount on your next pair. Originally I though it was a buy back offer which I though was pretty cool, but later realized it more of a $10 credit to the next pair bought in store. There were also a number of 50% off deals on various garments for both men & women, which is definitely a good incentive to purchase clothing here.

They looked amazing and I tried them on. They felt good and I thought they looked good. When I used them the next day. The tongue of the shoe hurt my foot really bad when I would lace them up. I had to tie them loosely and when I would take a step they were uncomfortable. I called Red Wing and just like that Sunday when they showed me great customer service in the store they also showed me great customer service over the phone. They said I had 30 days to return them. They said to try them out for 2 weeks and see if maybe all they need is to be broken in. Like I said customer service was really top notch the store was clean the employees were super nice and friendly. Only thing I would say is that the work boots did get more expensive the most I've spent before was about 250. This time the bill was 320, They are good shoes and your feet are your money makers so you need good boots to protect them. Red wings is what you want.

Heard good things about the Irish setters from Red Wing so decided to get a pair. The place in Elk Grove was nice and clean. When I walked in the employees were friendly but it was short lived. Long story short the employee that was helping me swore he could get me the boots, 3 pairs of socks, boot oil and conditioner for $300. I told him. I didn't want to come out of pocket but he kept insisting. He never once gave me a total because he said the computer system didn't show it till the order is done ‍. Then he said $309. I can come out of pocket for that much merchandise. Then he scanned my voucher and said $339. What!!! I thought you said $309. He said taxes. Very misleading. I just wanted to see a total overall but he rang everything up. I wasn't interested in all that plus that price so I told him to take all that extra stuff off. He proceeded to talk to another employee blaming me because it is difficult to return the items purchased with a voucher. I never told him I wanted to purchase any of that, I just wanted to see a total of all the items he was throwing in because it was a very unbelievable that it would be under $300.. there was such a mixup with everything that I had to scan my ATM so they can throw the return on my card and then I'll be able to purchase the boots that way, which didn't work at all and I was unable to leave the store with anything plus they drained my voucher money. Very un enjoyable experience..
