I picked up a new iPhone 16 Pro Max yesterday from our local T-Mobile store. Marilenna was the agent that helped me and she is really great! She really knew everything about everything and she transferred all the stuff from my old iPhone 12 to the new one while I went out to lunch. Ask for her if you are in the market for a new phone. I bought my first cell phone back in 1987. It was a black box in the trunk of my Lincoln Town Car with a cradle to hold a wired handset attached to the floor of my car. Wow have times changed! It was with PacTel Cellular and they merged into something and finally into AT&T. I never switched carriers. Maybe 5 years ago when they raised their rates again I called and ask that because I have been with you guys since day one can't I get a break on my plan cost? Nope. To start, if you're reading this- please know I gave this location 4 stars only because of the long wait time I experience when visiting this store. No matter the day, somehow it always seems they are short staffed which makes it difficult when you are on a time crunch and need immediate assistance. The staff at this location is very friendly, nice and willing to accomodate requests needed whether it is help picking out the right device, finding what service fits your need best, or even doing a return. I've never had an issue. The store itself is well kept which makes all the difference when visiting. I'd just recommend if you are short on time, maybe try to see if you can get assistance online or over the phone. Visiting the store usually can be time consuming. Especially at this location. Other than that, I would totally recommend this store, if only for the staff alone! read more

Gave them my card. 1 weeks later had fraud charge. I don't use my debit card for anything. Haven't gone to atm or used my debit card in the past three months. We've had t-mobile for over 15 years. Now I can't pay online unless I agree to them pushing adds on my phone and sharing some of my information. If I pay at one of the stores to get around it they have now changed it so I pay an extra $5/month. It feels cringy and unprofessional to me. I'm disappointed. read more

Was reading some reviews of this store before my visit since I knew I would be there for a while. Wanted to be prepared for what to expect. Even though some previous reviews weren't the best, we chose this location as it was close to my home. Upon arrival I was pleasantly greeted by manager Andi. All agents were busy at the moment but within 5 min, Andi took my info so I could be in the queue to be helped by next available agent. Within 10 minutes, Mikey introduced himself and began the process of getting my new upgrade. Mikey also asked if we were veterans or first responders, which past agents never brought it to our attention. Mikey very professionally explained our options and fully assisted us with exactly what we came in the store to do. With his professionalism, knowledge about the products and friendly approach to our transaction, I felt confident and highly satisfied with our purchase upgrade and visit. Customer service by Andi and Mikey at this location is a winner! We would recommend a visit to this store with them and look forward to future visits for our cell phone needs. Normally we hate coming to these stores but we actually had the best customer service experience. We were assisted by Yasmin and she was amazing from the start. My husband needed a new phone and I was thinking of upgrading. Yasmin was very thorough, explained everything to us in a way we could completely understand. I've been with T-mobile for 13 years, and had THE WORST experience today. I went into a different location, to walk through my bill with a rep. Come to find out, I'd been getting charged for a line of internet that I DO NOT HAVE, for more than a year. I raised my concerns, and the manager in that store called customer support, who let me know they couldn't do anything and I'd have to go back to the original store that was suppose to have made sure that line was canceled, when I returned the internet chip. I came, and saw the same person that originally helped me, and he made it seem like there was ZERO he could do without evidence. He did not look at my previous bills to see that there was ZERO usage from a line I don't have access to. I'm HIGHLY frustrated at the service, or lack of service that was provided. read more

This is one store that I will definitely avoid when I can, customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I bought a new phone from them the other day and I don't think I saw one smile from the first two reps. I asked them a few questions and they looked at me with a blank stare like I just asked the most idiotic questions ever. The final rep who actually helped me was helpful, but he should definitely try to influence his coworkers of his ways a little better. It's annoying that when you get disconnected tmobile sends an immediate response to anyone who messages you, telling the person they are blocked. Needed to unlock my friends phone and reactivate her service, she called t mobile per the manager instructions and was on hold for almost 40 minutes only to be told to go back into the store because my friend couldn't remember her pin and to verify identity. Again the store said we had to call back to get the rep on the phone and that we got a bad representative, they can't change pins or unlock phones. Horrible customer service, the manager and his employee were goofing around outside and at least could have offered to look up the account. We ended up going to the t mobile store on delta shores and got a new prepaid account as her prior phone number was taken. Problem solved in 10 minutes. I don't recommend this t mobile location at all! Go to delta shores for much better customer service. read more

I expected to have to wait but was very surprised as the door was opened and I was pleasantly greeted by the security guard. I barely had a chance to glance around when again pleasant service rep asked how he can help. My free gift was promptly provided. Overall a great experience. What was the offer that I had to have after being a subscriber for many years- a Halloween pumpkin! Will be thinking of upgrading to new Galaxy so may give this store a whirl. read more

I went in this particular T-Mobile store to pay my last bill with T-Mobile and finally say goodbye after seven years of service. When I walked into the store, I was automatically greeted by three employees who looked bored out their minds just waiting for a customer to walk in. One employee asked me what brought me in and I said to "pay my last bill" because I went to Verizon. I guess he got offended that someone would actually leave T-Mobile for another carrier and tried to tell me that T-Mobile's 4G network was better then Verizon's 4G LTE network. ARE YOU SERIOUS? YEAH, NICE TRY BUDDY! I bet he can't even sell a homeless man a bag of empty bottles. I'm sorry...that just really irritated me. SERVICE: The service was professional. The representative that helped was very personal and talked to my wife about being from the same city and attending the same high school. This representative was good and didn't make a case to keep our business like the other guy desperately trying to make a case of why T-Mobile was better. LOCATION: The location is in the same parking lot as many other shops and the Nugget Market that is always parked. The parking isn't the best but you'll have plenty of options. The store was been remodeled and looks great! They added new wooden floors and have a more open layout. A lot of natural sunlight and plenty of room to walk around and browse phones and accessories. I've definitely experienced better locations but this location meets the needs of the Elk Grove folks on the west end of the 99 freeway. Give it a shot and see what you think. T-Mobile does have incredible customer service when you call in compared to other carriers and their stores aren't all that bad either. read more

Be careful of your phone if you step inside this store!!My aging parents went in a few months ago to put a glass shield on both of their new iPhone 12's which was purchased from T-Mobile. An employee named Tony helped them and while sweet talking to them, almost stole my dad's phone by literally pocketing it!! Matt is very knowledgeable, entertaining and very professional with dealing with my whole family. Matt is able to answer and correct any of my technical or billing issues. He is very fast and accurate whenever I come into the store. Matt always goes over and beyond for my family in providing excellent customer service and is an excellent representative for TMobile This store is always very polite and professional and we are always helped right away. Avoid this store the best you can!! Tmobile service is great, the best service I have had in Elk Grove. But the management at this store needs to be let go and hire someone that cares to take care of customers. I was lied to when I first bought my phone here that I could upgrade each year, that was a lie. Then I went into upgrade this past weekend as it says on the Tmobile app that you can get 500 dollars back for trading in your phone. The manager choose to argue with me saying that I could not get this deal. I went home talked to the online team and two seconds later I have my phone shipping to me and going to get 500 dollars back. It would have been nice to just take care of this at the store so I could have it done right away. Just avoid this store as they will scary you that Tmobile is not a good service provider but luckily they have a good online service or I would have left Tmobile! read more

They genuinely tried to assist me in my efforts to use my phablet, that is a phone and tablet together in one unit to work. UNFORTUNATELY they were unable to do so.... I noticed when you were with AT&T there was never an effort to alienate 50% of the population, your own gender bashing. Do you have a son? Are you embarrassed of him? John I fully well expect you to lie to me about your coverage area we all do we all look at the maps we all know they're incorrect. Of course T- Mobile is not the only carrier to provide false coverage maps all of the carriers do so and that is what we expect you to lie to us about your coverage. We as consumers don't need to hear gender bashing, obviously we prefer not to. Yes I started the #sorry its a boycott campaign, hopefully you can understand why I did so.. So John hopefully in the future your focus will be on building a better network rather than bashing 50% of the population. T-mobile is the number "4" network in the United States you really could be number 3!
