We bought a used 2014 car that didn't have a remote fob, just a regular key with chip. The Chevy dealer told us they can't help since the remote fobs are discontinued. Two local locksmiths both told us they can't guarantee their work but it would cost $75 just to try, plus the cost of the fob. So we called Batteries Plus. They also said $75 just to try, but only $10 to cut the key. We bought a remote fob on eBay for under $30, took it in to be cut for $10, and the guy programmed it for us for free (it only took 2 minutes). Absolutely nice, professional guy there and we'd definitely come here again.

Walked in showed the representative the battery and walked out with a new replacement. Funny thing: I hooked up the battery and my alarm didn't register there was a battery, so I waited to see it would register...nothing . So back I went to the store to see if I got my original battery back by accident. Other rep tested the battery I brought back in, then pulled and tested my old battery from the back to ensure that they indeed issued a new battery. Yup they sold me a new battery, but the sales rep pulled another new battery from the shelf and said hopefully this one will work for you. After hooking up again a new battery this one registered after half an hour. Bottom line is that they never questioned if I was wrong and focused on a solution for my needs! I recommend Batteries Plus for any battery replacement. **BTW I have had two watch batteries replaced here that have lifetime replacement.

I'm glad I found this issue at the HOUSE, if this was on the ROAD IT WOULD OF BEEN DEADLY ACCIDENT.
