I have had bad experience with this business. Two employees spent over 20 min to change the battery, which i could have done myself in 5 min. They both seemed either first day on job or high on ...they dropped frequently things in the battery area. The funny part is that they tried like 6 or 7 times to find the right wrench to loosen the battery terminals, all right in front of my eyes. I will never go there again. read more

Needed a battery asap... so I bought one here in Tracy 280.00 and to get installed too was another 80.00 I contacted my cuzin to install but I remembered last he told to go somewhere anyway I called again to ask he recommended to this place... I called talked to Brian... told me a quote for 200 and they would install as well... so I said I'm on my way when I got there very friendly. I didn't get that one of gentleman's name but I did speak to Brian. The customer service was on point. Thank you so much anyways the price turned out to only be 100 and with installation very professional just wanted to say thank you again. Absolutely the best deal. Total was 98.92 for a 35N battery. AAA couldn't get a battery in my car. The battery guy sent by AAA insisted my battery was good after the tow guy tested it the night before and said it wasn't good. I got another opinion at Auto Zone and they told me my battery was dead. This place said my battery was definitely dead. Come to find out the business that was suppose to replace my battery just didn't have my battery in stock. All that pointing fingers for no good reason! In the end I didn't have to pay for the $175 before taxes for a battery they couldn't deliver. Thank you BB for the excellent service. Now AAA is suppose to reimburse me the $50 they owe me. We shall see. read more

I went to Battery Bill's through a friend's recommendation to replace an old battery a few months ago. The price was right and the service was great. They changed out the old one and installed a new one in 5 minutes. I purchased a DEKKA battery with a two year warranty but the sales person said it will last over 6-7 years. We'll see it this is true, time will tell. I'm hoping It beats Costco batteries which are not reliable. read more

As store fronts go, it's a no-frills battery shop, carries just about everything from little batteries to the big, 100+ pound commercial truck batteries. And perhaps it's pure luck, but they last -- headed back to replace a pair I bought in January 2008 (yup, nearly five years on a set of batteries I tend to neglect beyond just driving the truck occasionally). They wheeled out their motorized cart, scooped up the batteries from my car, and dropped two new ones in their place in the time it took me to go inside and have 'em swipe my credit card. Great place to go for "WHEELCHAIR BATTERIES" Looked all over for them and they were very expensive to get from a health supply store, or a custom wheelchair supply and parts store. Especially when you need 2 of them. But, at Battery Bill's we bought 2 ready to drop and roll batteries for only 100.00 x 2 = 200.00 best price found. And they sell all kinds of batteries. Very honest people by the way, I went to autozone to have my battery tested they told me that my battery had a bad electrode and i needed to purchase 150 dollar one, so i went to battery bill and he saw the battery and told me that the batttery was almost new that all it needed was to be busted charge, so he charged it for me at no cost, and no problems since! I also got some second hand batteries there for other cars for a very affordable price and it's been working for the last 3 years. Our forklift mechanic recommended this place to us. I thought it was worth checking out. Both men at the Stockton business were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. I was also able to return several old batteries that had been laying around in our shop. So, I get a refurbished Diehard battery that new from Autozone or O'Reilly's or Kragens would have ran me close to $150.00. My cost was $43.00, with a six month warranty!!! Unreal!! Just one of those places that you luck into finding out about!! I live in Turlock but if I need a battery???, I'll make the drive to Stockton. These guys just acquired a long term customer.
