I had purchased the current one needing replacing in 2021. I went on line to there site and entered the model type of the battery. The page popped up with the price and limited stock, so I printed it up and gave them a call. I told the associate that I had seen it online and verified the price and asked if they had one in stock. After a moment he came back I said he had one. I told him I'd be down in about 30 min. to get it. After arriving the battery had been filled and tested for voltage and checked out. After he rung it up the price was $72.99 I showed him the print out and it had $57.99 He said that was for internet only. After returning home I pulled it up and at the top is a little banner that states that. So $80.48 for the battery and a drive to Stockton wasn't worth it. Loyalty to some businesses don't mean squat to some anymore. Needless to say it will be the last battery I buy from them so enjoy the xtra $15.00 you squeezed me for. Another 20+ years of me buying batteries for all our equipment will far exceed what you made today. Terrible customer service!

Absolutely impressed by this place that I kind-of dismissed as "why would we need a store that just…read moresells batteries?" We bought a used 2014 car that didn't have a remote fob, just a regular key with chip. The Chevy dealer told us they can't help since the remote fobs are discontinued. Two local locksmiths both told us they can't guarantee their work but it would cost $75 just to try, plus the cost of the fob. So we called Batteries Plus. They also said $75 just to try, but only $10 to cut the key. We bought a remote fob on eBay for under $30, took it in to be cut for $10, and the guy programmed it for us for free (it only took 2 minutes). Absolutely nice, professional guy there and we'd definitely come here again.

When inside and speaking with the staff, you begin to feel like they are annoyed of you being there. Customer service is lacking and evident. I had a simple request to ask if they had any tire chains in stock and it resulted in an attitude from 2 male employees from what I assume was because they didn't want to check their inventory in the back. All in all, after them not wanting to look up my car in their system or assist in getting the right ones, I felt they could have handled the conversation piece in a better manner. I will not be returning to this location. Do better. Thanks.

Around 1:30 PM, I called the store and spoke with Ian to verify if the required phone screen was in stock before filing a claim through T-Mobile and driving from Tracy to Stockton. Ian confirmed the screen was available and stated that if I filed the claim and arrived by 5:00 PM, he would be able to repair it. I arrived at the store at 4:40 PM. Although Ian acknowledged our earlier conversation, he stated he could not find an appointment. When I provided my claim number, he refused to accept it. Because my screen was completely black, I asked to use the store phone to contact the insurance company, but Ian refused, stating he did not know how long the call would take. I returned to my car, then went back inside to offer to pay $160.00 in cash instead. Ian then refused service again, stating he was currently working on another phone, despite standing at the counter doing nothing both times I entered the store. Due to this treatment, I no longer trusted the store with my device. I drove back to Tracy and had to reschedule the repair at the Pleasant Hill location. This was the worst customer service experience I have encountered, it would be honorable to have this matter addressed and take it as an Opportunity for teaching CUSTOMER SERVICE Skills.

I drove my rig to his shop and he took the time over the period of about an hour on an extremely hot day (101) to fill my house batteries with distilled water, checked my fuses to make sure they were ok, as well as the 12 volt plug in the back bedroom that I have to use for my CPAP machine. And then he didn't charge me for any of it. That was impressive. I'll remember Bill and Lodi Battery the next time I have battery needs.
