Amar was able to quickly assess the problem with my phone and connect me with the best options for my situation. My brother gave me a new phone so I brought it into this location to have it activated and have everything transferred from my blackberry to my new touchscreen phone. I had held out as long as I could before switching to a touchscreen...... I walked into the location and the manager Mahmoud helped me right away. Even though I wasn't buying anything he was very helpful and transferred all my pictures and contacts to my new phone. While he was transferring my info, another salesperson Sydney, helped me find a good case for my phone. Then they gave me a free tablet, which I'm not sure I'll keep yet since I'm not exactly sure what I'd use a tablet for, but they told me to keep it for a week and bring it back if I don't love it. I left with all my questions answered and with a new phone holding all my old contacts, pictures, and text conversations! read more

I have called customer service a few times, but apparently this is just a front store borrowing the Verizon name and they can do whatever the heck they want. Scott and Krystal are bold-faced liars! "The lead supervisor is in Cabo, I'll call you back on Monday..." Then a week goes by and I have to call them "the manager is on vacation, I'll call you back tomorrow..." Whatever, your district manager is not on vacation twice; or maybe he is as this location is scamming everyone. They told customer service that they are working with us to get this resolved, right after they told us we are SOL. I am very disappointed with my service and the run around I've gotten from this location. Next time I will make sure to go to a certified Verizon location. You have nothing to lose, or so we were told...just return it if you change your mind....we found upon reading the contract the "nothing to lose" was 20 dollars a month. We returned the boxes unopened and were still charged a $35 restocking fee. Not happy. Manager would not waive this fee. Don't trust these guys. If I could give zero stars I would! This store is horrible! They straight up lie to get you to sign up or upgrade - it's ridiculous! When my boyfriend and I called verizon to question why our bill was double what they said it would be they told us this location is known for lying directly to their customers. I honestly think the better business bureau needs to get involved - it's completely unethical and borderline illegal what they are doing! The service at this store is terrible. An honest mistake was made by a newish employee, but fixing the problem turned out to be a horrible experience. I went into the store three times, and called twice trying to fix the mistake made by the employee. I was promised that a manager would call me back . . . that didn't happen. When I finally did talk with an assistant manager, I was told that there was nothing she could do, that I would need to call Verizon Service to take care of the problem myself. The best Verizon store around! Amar was super helpful and made sure to answer all of our questions. He stayed past his shift with no hesitation to get us the best possible deal. And when we requested a phone in Rose Gold (which was nowhere to be found) Ivan, the manager, drove to a different location and found one so that we could leave with the phones we wanted that night! Since she left, she has been contacted on FB by the Verizon employee asking her what her plans are this weekend..She was concerned about this and felt uncomfortable. One of the worker's, I think his name was Amar, gave me the BEST phone service I've ever had in my entire life. I honestly have never received such amazing customer service before. Not only did he helped me do an excellent job of switching phone companies, but he also helped me with the HUM device for my car, which another associate named Maria came by to drop off passed midnight from another location because their inventory was out! I've never seen such teamwork and dedication to making the customer a priority not just on a business level, but on a personal level. Amar assured me that Verizon blows the other competition away. He was the ONLY worker that night, yet he stayed PASSED MIDNIGHT just to help my friend and I get new phones as well as helping all the other customers!!! I was SHOCKED that this guy wasn't a manager! I'm 100% going back to this location because of the service that was provided. The worst Verizon store I've ever been to. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. I went into this store with my daughter to upgrade my phone and add a line for my daughter. I ended up purchasing 2 iPhone xr and was charged $199 plus phone taxes and ended up paying over $300. I asked the rep twice what $199 fees were and she said its a service fee. As we were wrapping things up she said we get a choice of screen protector or a phone case with each phone as they are included with iPhone XR. The rep did not go over the invoice or the breakdown of the fees and when I got home I checked the invoice and was stunned. They charged me for set up and go fees, line membership fees, screen protector for $59.99 and phone case for $49.99 total of $204.00 including $117 phone taxes. So I called the store and spoke to a rep who did not know what he was talking about did not make any sense and just kept saying it's the phone taxes and other fees. He couldn't explain the charges. He asked that I call back to speak to his manager And when I called back each time manager was unavailable. I'm reporting this this store to Verizon for investigation and also requesting a full refund. Please go to Verizon corporate stores. read more

I wouldn't even give this store a single star for a rating. I had to call corporate on them 3 times and email their regional manager for my experience and inconvenience. Long story short, the employee who helped me, lied to me to get a sell; changed my plan without confirming with me, changed my name and address on the receipt he printed out, and charged me more than $200 for items I didn't want. Came back again and again only to argue with the manager. Didn't get them to actually do what I originally intended to do until I called corporate on them again. It's an authorized retailer. Their employees lie to customers to get commission. Go to an actual Verizon store; the ones who actually know and cares about what you need and want. read more

I have visited the store on two separate instances within a two week time period. My first initial visit was to find a solution to it A problem with Sprint. My daughter is in a very remote area and we found out sprint only allows 300 GB of roaming per her billing cycle, and she used that in three days. Finding no solution with Sprint, it was time to change. First met with Alex who was very personable and great to work with us. I ended up using their 14 day return policy though because the new tablet did not work in that area either. However, my second visit to the store, I met with the store manager Crystal and her associate Matthew. Their customer service was over-the-top! They were able to speak on the phone to my daughter to assess exactly what was going on, and we were able to maximize on Verizon's current deal and return our item without an issue. They bought out our four contracts with sprint and not only did we walk out with four new phones and accessories and 64 GB of memory instead of 16, we walked out with the assurance that the Verizon people in this Verizon store are going to take care of all of our needs. I have no hesitancy and recommending this store and especially these people to help especially with the confusing and overwhelming process sometimes of switching carriers. They made it so easy! I had a wonderful experience today at this Verizon with my brother. We came in for a Father's Day gift, & left with 2 phones & 3 cases. What made our experience so exceptional was the customer service. Normally, the whole process is pretty boring & awkward, but we were being helped out by Kalena... & let me tell you, she is awesome! Rick also joined in on our conversation. Kalena was very thorough with the transaction & explaining everything we needed to know, she even went as far as giving us copies of an example on how to mail in our rebate... So thoughtful & helpful, she even gave us envelops with the mailing dress, handwritten herself. Majority of the conversation between us four was irrelevant to Verizon & cell phones/data/service in general. They're not just strictly business here, they can get personal! We had such good service at this location, I definitely recommend speaking to Kalena! She's very understanding & knows what she's talking about. Rick is also a good representative to speak to. This place is shady do not go there.I purchased one phone here a couple of years ago no real problems. Except the insurance PROTECTCELL they sold at the time doesn't stop taking money out of your account unless you call and tell them personally. It's been taking money out for over a year for a phone I haven't had and They won't refund the money. The workers at this location are only interested in making a sell. I purchased a phone that turned out to be defective, I took it back and they tried to make me pay the restocking fee of a hundred dollars to get another one. Eventually they gave me another one after forty five minutes. No apologies for the inconvenience of my time wasted there. I get the different phone that is supposed to be brand new and I turn it on and someone else had already synced their email and contacts and downloaded a few apps... I called the store and told them what happened, they assured me the phone was brand new... And that I should peform a factory reset to erase everything on the phone. I didn't feel like dealing with these guys any more so I didn't go back. I reset the phone but it didn't have that new feel to it that I'm paying hundreds of dollars for... Luckily it was stolen and I got a replacent that really was brand new through the ausrion insurance company. If you need a Verizon place to go, head to the real store at the imperial east shopping center. read more

We r not tech experts but Matthew was so patience with us and explained everything to us in layman terms. His customer service was a 110% which is difficult to find these days. NEVER go to this Verizon "authorized retailer" store. Masquerading as a Verizon store, this store uses the credibility of Verizon to LIE to its customers. I went to this store to get a new phone. I got the itemized receipt and noticed they charged me $99.99 for "Total Care Active." When I asked what this was, the employee told me that it was insurance for my new cell phone. The employee said I am required to get it to leave the store with the new phone, but that I could call back any time to cancel it. They also had a separate "Set Up & Go" fee of $30 that they said Verizon charges customers to set up their new phone. Later, I learned from Verizon that this is NOT a Verizon fee, and that this store pockets this charge. When I called back to cancel the insurance, another employee said that the $99.99 charge was not insurance, but an "accessory bundle" and that it was non-refundable. This was my first time hearing about any accessory bundle. The employee named Krystle said that this store charges these two fees for any person who gets a new cell phone at their location, namely $99.99 for what she now called an "accessory bundle" and $30 to set up the phone - so an EXTRA $130 FEE just to get a new phone from their store! Outrageous! If that is their store policy, why would anyone go to this store to get a new phone? You can go to an ACTUAL Verizon store (like the one in Brea on Imperial) and not be charged this ridiculous and unconscionable fee of $99.99 + $30 = $130. I told her that the employee at the time of the transaction told me that the $99.99 was for cell phone insurance I was required to get in order to leave the store with my new phone that I can cancel at any time. Nowhere on the receipt or at the store was I informed I was paying an extra fee of $99.99 just to get a new phone at this store. Krystle said that to off-set the $99.99 fee of getting a new phone at their store, they provide the three accessories for "free" and in that way, this $99.99 charge is considered an accessory bundle. This makes no sense. Telling a customer that something is a required cell phone insurance charge that is refundable at any time, then turning around after the transaction and claiming it is a non-refundable "accessory bundle/direct fee to the store to get a new cell phone there" is STRAIGHT UP FRAUD. The itemized receipt even calls the $99.99 charge "Total Care Active." The accessories are listed separating at the bottom, nowhere near the $99.99 charge. I called Verizon and confirmed with them that if I had gone to an actual Verizon store, I would NOT have been charged this bullshit $99.99 fee. For the $30 Set Up & Go fee, I confirmed with Verizon that it is NOT a Verizon charge to set up a new phone. If I had gone to an actual Verizon store, I would NOT have been charged this bullshit $30 Set Up & Go fee. Since this store refuses to refund me the money that they defrauded me into giving them, I am now working with Verizon, the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company to get my $130 back from this store. Save yourself from this heinous experience and never go here. read more

PLEASE stay away. I walked into this store Over a year ago, and am still paying the consequences for my mistake. This is not a traditional Verizon store. You're dealing with crooks and snakes for the most part. I've spent hours crying, talking to the fraud department for Verizon, but there's nothing I can do. I'm now paying for 3 phones when I only have 1. I didn't read over my contract. I was so naive, don't make the same mistake. Not only that the sales associate had the audacity to rip me off, then get my number from the system and ask to come over to my apartment that night. I've never been taken advantage like this in a sales setting, and I wasn't prepared for it because from the outside the store looks reputable. The manager was no help either.
