I was porting in from Verizon to join my boyfriend's account. The good thing is that I was able to log in online and check the bill and other settings with my line. They even serviced us past the closing time, which was really considerate. We were given a third line that we ended up never using, and I never did get my reimbursement, so I paid nearly $500 to pay off my iPhone 13. I ended up switching to AT&T, and upgrading to the 15 Pro Max, so we went to a different T-Mobile location to figure out how to switch over yet again. I had connectivity issues with my Apple account, such as iMessage disconnecting, and not receiving calls on all devices. So, I would suggest not porting the same number across providers. read more

I had to go into this T-Mobile store in Anaheim on State College a well known store that I've been coming to for years off and on. Anyways I had problems with and existing phone that all of a sudden shut off completely and would not recharge. I came into this store and get my serviced switched out from the old phone to new one. Employee JOSE M. was so accommodating and helpful in order to get my TikTok account up in running even in my current or primary phone that I had problems logging in the first place. Everything was successful with Jose's help. I was able to get my new phone up and running along with my TikTok account being set up properly. This is my local t mobile store and I never really need to go in branch for anything, last time I was here was a couple years ago to go pick out a new phone. Anywho today I needed actual support for something and the rep who helped me (black and grey sleeve glasses, close to 3:30pmish) assisted in exactly what I was looking for. What can really be improved is the customer service and employee training. My mother has service here and is now in debt because one of at&ts employees gave her wrong information about transferring a number we had with AT&T to t mobile , I was the one leaving my moms phone plan cuz my phone had broke and my bf bought me a phone from t mobile and put me on his line and I wanted to keep my number and expressed to the employee that If it wasn't possible it was completely okay the employee then proceeds to tell us that I could transfer the number to T-Mobile where I am now serviced and that my mom could put a pause on that line and phone payment and when my mom was ready to unpause the line that she could submit a insurance claim on the phone... never once said that if we did transfer the phone number to t moblie that we would have to pay right then and there the rest of the remaining balance on the phone to pay off in less than a month! And we did talk to customer service and they did not want to help us at all until we made a payment on the amount left on that phone .. talk about a scam! This review is specific to your associate manager Jairo. I went in over an issue with a phone that was purchased some months back but not immediately activated. When I attempted to activate it, it had apparently been locked by someone's business software. What?!? This was a brand new phone out of the box. The phone had been ordered online so the obvious thing to do was to go in to have the issue resolved. I spoke with Jairo who suggested several times that I had been the one who installed the software. The entire situation was extremely frustrating and he resolved nothing. He then suggested that he email the "account executive" who suggested that I talk to my company IT (this was my small business phone). At the end of the day nothing was resolved and after emailing at least 3 times neither Jairo or this so called account executive had the decency to respond. Fortunately, I escalated this via social media and the issue was resolved the same day. Moral of the story? Don't mess with these people when experiencing difficulty with your device. This manager gave zero cares about resolving an issue for a customer. read more

Because of the excellent customer service I've had over the years, I've remained a T-Mobile client for  15 years.  That said, customer service varies depending on  the location, and this one is no exception. It's a truehit-or-miss situation, depending on who you  happen to meet. For instance, today, Finni was fantastic; she was kind and courteous in answering all of our concerns, and we were in and out quickly. I have to commend her for gracefully addressing our frustrations. That's not always easy. However, I'm deducting a star for the young lady who greeted us. I'm not sure whether she's the manager, but she might benefit from some customer service training. We only spoke with her briefly, but it was sort of embarrassing to watch her deal with other customers who came in after us. She seemed more agitated than concerned when one gentleman was trying to ask for help because he was having difficulty making long distance phone calls. The employees were very respectful professional and efficient. One employee went out of their way to get me from my car when it was my turn but my cell was accidentally off. Then another employee that helped me (Finni) totally did an awesome job by being very one on one, answered all my questions and was fast in replacing my screen cover. She was also very informative. I actually came here twice for assistance on a phone. The first time nothing was really done, but this store is NOT at fault for that. I put all the blame on the customer support for telling me false information. Only reason I mention this moment is because the staff there was really nice and very helpful. The second time, they managed to undo a very big mess that another T-Mobile store created (I visited the one on Katella). It took forever, but they managed to get me the phone I waited almost a month for. The guys who helped us were Marty and Max, those guys are the best. Carrier locations are always a hit or miss but I have had nothing but good experiences here. Miguel is the best and greatly helped us when another associate messed up our order. He went above and beyond for us making sure everything was taken care of. We had a tricky situation and he put up with my endless questions and was quick with a resolution. The place is always clean and even if they can't get to you right away they are quick to greeting you and taking your name. Every sign in this store is in Spanish (hello - we speak English here), there is also a ton of people always in there, and the employees either ignore you unless you walk up to them, or are just rude. This is a busy T-Mobile that knows how to handle mass amounts of customers. I've come here for everything from buying a new phone, to getting a friends phone repaired, and everyone is really nice and helpful. Even if it's something they can't help you with in the store, they'll call customer service and get things set up for you, and then pass the phone over. That's a lot better than having to go all the way home again and hope you get some help over the phone. If you come on the weekend this place is usually packed, especially if they're having some kind of special. But you usually don't have to wait too long for someone to help you, and they're pretty good at acknowledging you when you first walk in the store. Overall, one of the nicer T-Mobile stores around. read more

This store has the worst manager ever ! First of all I wanted to upgrade my phone and the inspection wouldn't pass cause they said my phone didn't have the white or red line to show proof that the phone was has water damage so I came here cause this is where I purchase my phone and the manger was so rude and said I had to pay 100 so that I can have it pass and I can trade my phone in she said she couldn't overwrite anything for me ! Meanwhile I purchase the phone here and that means they sold me defective phone ! They sure have no problem for me paying for this phone that came out to over 800 but can't over write me for 100 so I can upgrade keep in mind they gave me the phone defective in. The first place ! The manager kept rolling her eyes and was being the biggest b**** ever ! This by far has been the best T-Mobile location that I've been to. Despite the fact that this is a high volume store they're very quick to assist customers. Although I wasn't able to purchase the phone I wanted during that day due to their systems not functioning properly, they were more than accommodating and told me that they would hold the phone I wanted to purchase until I could come back two days later. When I came back to finally purchase my phone they were able to back up the data from my previous phone and restore it on my new phone in less than an hour. I would definitely recommend a visit to this location for all your phone needs. read more

honestly this is the worst location ever i love tmbile but yestday. october 9th at 10 am .i went trying to switch to the new promotion and the guy kept telling me it would only work if i bought a 200 dollar speakers which i know was bs because im not mental .but he kept insisting that was the only way ..but i know they obviously get paid in commision so i had to double check wemt online to chat to tmobile associate and he confirmed. that i didnt need to buy anything and he signed me up for this new plan he never mentioned i had to purchase this . so to the associate that took my case ur an asshole try fooling someone else . this is the second time this tmobile location has done something similar to this so they get one star because now i have to drive to a different location amd yes i know they work of commision i know how sales work i use to work in retail so i get it but seriously trying to scam someone for 200 bucks what a shitty move . cant believe he thought id be stupid enough to fall for that read more

Really bad costumer service. This is the 4th time I come in this store and it seems they're still bad. First time was when I opened an account. The first time I walked in here I told them I wanted to open an account and they kept me waiting for about 40 minutes even though they weren't busy. 2nd time they ignored me.
