Went in with a certain amount of money I can spend on a phone, I was immediately greeted by Rehman, a sales associate, I asked what can get me the most bang for my buck, he let me know the specials they were having on phones and what would suit me best for what I use the phone for. Everything went nice and smooth. Lastly, I was thinking that I needed to go on Amazon for a protector and case, however, Mr. Rehman granted me a case and protector complimentary. I've spent over 4 months trying to get the ACP program applied to my account with no results. 20+ calls to call center, most resulting in them hanging up, 7 in store visits. I was shocked at how expensive it was to buy a "free" iPhone 11 and 1 month of service. I was disappointed and irritated that all phones in stock at this store are made in China even though other stores and carriers have phones not made in China. I bought an iPhone 11 here last week after my old phone was stolen. I also signed up for the $60/month plan and ported my number from my previous carrier. Marvin was very courteous, professional, and patient especially considering my cranky 2-year-old son. However, I was very disappointed that the phone, activation, tax, and 1st month of service was so expensive, especially since the iPhone 11 was "free" because I ported my number from another carrier. Metro required me to pay for one month of insurance and a charger even though I did not want or need them. I paid $184.11 out the door. Ridiculous. I activated service with Metro before and it probably cost less than half of this. This store had only one iPhone 11 in stock, which was the one that I bought, and it was made in China. I was also considering the iPhone SE, Samsung Galaxy A23, and Nokia G400 but the only ones in stock at this store were made in China. I was extremely disappointed because I bought a iPhone SE from Boost Mobile around December 2022 or January 2023 and it was made in Vietnam. I bought a Samsung Galaxy A13 from Best Buy around January 2023 and it was made in Vietnam as well. I thought this store would have non-Chinese phones as a result but nope, they had only Chinese-made phones. I will be cancelling my Metro service after my one month is up. I will likely never switch back to Metro again. It would be cheaper just to buy an unlocked phone from Best Buy and service with a MVNO like Twigby, Mint, or Tello. Just some advice for this store: Please carry phones that are not made in China and be upfront about the extra required costs such as insurance and the charger. read more

If you don't have the phone don't display and people waste time, or if you want to keep it there to look fuller thats fine but PLEASE place something that says currently NOT avail. Associates - not so great. Out for their commission. Not enough knowledge for their product. Waiting time was LOoong wait. You asked questions about their service, you will get an attitude. The employees here were initially nice but quick to make accusations without basis. I don't think Metro should expect customers to know the history of the numbers that they have that is being ported in. Especailly if they have only had it for a month or so and are porting it in. I had to leave Sprint PCS because even though I had the 'unlimited' plan, my overage charges were CONSTANT. I heard about Metro from my cousin (shouts out to Vonnie Pooh, lol) and at first I was a little bougie about it. Thinking, wtf? Really? Some no name phone plan that will let me talk, text, and get internet for one price?! No way. Needless to say $45 a month looked TONS better than $350+ a month. Anyway, I bum rushed the store ready to snatch up everything in sight, in order to make my unlimited fantasies come true!! Okay, thats the pre-face. Have to tell you, I've never actually been to this store. I'm going to be speaking of the service in general. The phones are okay, they aren't as 'hi tech' as the 'real' (lol) cell phone companies, but wtf do you want ova hea!!!!! You are getting ALL YOU CAN TALK/TEXT/CELL SURF THE WEB for one flat rate price, AND the price doesn't keep adding up if you miss your payment date. They simply shut you down until you pay it, then you are as right as rain again. Thing is, the phones don't have all the bells and whistles and apps that others do, but i have found some pretty cool sites that allow me free ringtones, videos, wallpapers, and all Metro approved and on my touch screen goodie. I do miss the built in apps that OTHER phone plans have, but whateva....the phone STAYS glued to me. I wear it more than I wear clothes. LOL!!! Seriously though, it's just always with me. I went to the AMC Fullerton and I was an hour early to my movie so I decided to go in to the Metro PCS store in the same shopping center to see if they had any bluetooth headsets. I walk in and the four employees are behind the counter chit chatting away. I don't mind that they're talking but the girl and guy were talking about how they would rather be out drinking than working on a Saturday night. I ask one of their employees to see their cheapest bluetooth headset since it will be rarely used. The employee shows me one that is $20 and says he suggests getting the one that's $40 because it's better quality. I pull out my phone to look at the reviews on Amazon and in a very condescending tone the employee asks "checking your bank account?" No asshole I'm looking at the reviews and actually found the $40 bluetooth headset for $10 on Amazon. Horrible customer service. read more

I went to this location on 1/12/18, and had a very pleasant experience. Upon arrival, I was greeted by two different employees - Rosa ended up helping me out. I purchased a new phone & set up a new account. The transaction went very smoothly, she was very professional and helpful. I was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes. I have been to two other locations in Orange County, and I wasn't very happy with either of them, so I decided to give this location a try. I received a text message recently stating that I had to upgrade my phone or risk service termination. I did some research over the legitimacy of this claim and found that the recent t-mobile merger with metro pcs is going to have A LOT of the older phone models permanently disconnected from their service after July 1, 2015. I checked online and discovered that my old LG Spirit was worth 99.99$ (hooray!) in trade in credit towards a new phone, so I wasn't too upset with the whole thing. I visited this metro pcs store because it was the closest corporate store to my house, and I'm sure glad that I did. I waited about an hour in line, but I expected some sort of wait, so I brought a book. What I didn't expect however was such excellent customer service! An employee who shall remain nameless, was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly in the trade-in-credit field. Which I would assume might be considered complicated to some, seeing as how my receipt was about two feet long! By the end of my time with this employee after watching them work their magic, I had traded in my two year old LG Spirit for the new ZTE ZMAX (which the employee had previously put on reserve for me), a Bluetooth headset, a pair of headphones, a portable mini speaker, a 32GB Micro SD card, phone case + screen protector, and a portable battery pack, all for the grand total of $25. So if you're looking for a good deal and you're trading in your old phone, look no further, because it looks like this store is looking to get rid of old (and new) inventory. read more

Unfortunately this is the only Metro PCS that had the most varieties when it comes to phone selection. This place is f*cking ghetto as ghetto can get.1. They have employees who likes to hang out in the back and refuses to help the many customers sitting and waiting to be helped. 2. The customers' representative is helping a customer while talking to his buddy that is on the phone about a party they are planning to go after work. 3. The "security guard" in the store is worthless he can't guard anything or even do anything if someone decides rob the store. 4. They have ghetto ass rap music bumping from their flat screen TVs.
