I do not recommend going to this store. The sales people are condescending. They try to help multiple people at the same time instead of taking the time to work with you. I was waiting around while my sales person went to help others even though I waited my turn. And then I showed him the condition of my phone. Said I wanted to the upgrade that stated any condition. He gave me a price, I was ready to buy and he said that there is in fact a stipulation on the condition. Wasted my time. I'm going to work with a different carrier. I recently visited this Verizon store with my son in law to up grade his phone. We were greeted by a Verizon associate that would be handling our business . I was very dis appointed because she was very rude, spoke to us like we were ignorant and thought she had to give us the definition of "estimate" as if we didn't know . I have been a loyal customer of Verizon for over 25 years , so I was very disappointed. We politely walked out and took our business to the Verizon Store in Sierra Lakes. Went to my neighborhood Verizon store to get a new phone. Dealt with what seemed like a descent salesman by the name of Kenya. I wanted a new phone due to mine getting damaged due to heat. I've had my old phone for going on 4 years and Kenya assured me my monthly bill would not change. Perfect!!! Well guess what, he lied and sold me a level 1 protection plan. A hint for you all, get a paper receipt and check your bill the next day. Funny part is salesman can add to your account without you being the account holder, but to remove the nonsense takes the member. Have had their cell service since their inception. I have NEVER had an issue with their service or iPhones. I kid you not, I've seen family and friends on other services continuously have issues. Typical I drove to this location on Dec 24th because the location by my home has horrible service. I was assured my account was cleared up and all OK after I payed another $300. Less than a month later, my phone was shut off and they want another $300. I drove back to this location. Got there at 10:00. When they advertise they open and there recording states. Let me preface this by mentioning the Verizon corporate office was far more helpful and agreed that what the store associate did was wrong. Jerry G. took advantage of my mom for the sake of his commissions. After her phone's screen cracked, He tried to sell her a full retail price phone by first requiring her to pay a balance on a phone that had a promotional credit. He charged her $500+ to pay off a line that had a $27 monthly credit towards a $31 monthly charge. By making her pay that amount, it voided her credit and failed to save her money off her monthly bill like he told her she would. Mike, the manager was useless about helping the situation citing that the incompetence of his employee was not an issue he could resolve. In my personal experience, dealing with Costco's Verizon selling center is much easier as their employees don't act like misleading car salesmen. They never bothered to tell me that once she released the number and picked up her phone and SIM card that they would not process it until the next billing cycle. Edith has always been very professional and assisted me in any way that she could whether it came to buying equipment, accessories or opening up a new line with Verizon. I appreciated the excellent customer service I received from Edith along with always being acknowledged by the other sales representatives from the time I entered this store to the time I left.
