I don't get the negative reviews, my experience at this store was exceptional. I made an order to switch carriers from another network to Spectrum, I did this online using the Spectrum website. I was then sent a series of emails on how to transfer the phones on my own. I knew if I tried to do this on my own it would end in disaster, so I made an appointment at the Sierra Lakes store. Tony was the Representative that assisted me and my family. I shared the information of what I wanted to do and he assured me that he can make it happen. He patiently took the time to explain and transfer all four phones for me and my family. Thank you Tony for your professional assistance in this matter. I highly recommend this location for any Spectrum matters read more

Been with Spectrum for ten years. They raised our rates over 20%! Called and complained, was sent to the "we don't give a dam" department. Left Spectrum and went to t-Mobile. Spectrum suddenly gives a damn! Too late Spectrum, Adios! read more

Martha (Mgr) and her staff were great! Went in to check services and add a line of mobile service and Martha greeted us. She informed me of multiple savings avenues that I was not aware of even after researching online and in app. Her staff then followed up and were very helpful in completing all the changes and additions to my account. Had gone to a different Spectrum location last week with a much different outcome and decided to leave. Thank you Spectrum Sierra Lakes for your help and professionalism. read more

Came in just to port my number over to a free line , and since it was 20 min til closing they told me it would take to long to initiate a port. I called the spectrum customer service on the phone , and they ported me over within 5 min literally had it done over the phone before the store even closed . So someone was just a bit lazy at this location to do a port over that took less than 5 minutes. Bunch of employees standing around and couldn't do a port over. read more

Anthony helped us for the first attempt to return equipments, however our landline has not ported in yet. Anthony was helpful and explained to return after the phone line is done. This is what makes me so unhappy with Spectrum. An increase of $31 of our bill and they don't prorate so had to pay the full amount of our monthly bill . Only used 15 days of their service and had to pay $182.25!!! I don't think I will recommend Spectrum to anyone. read more

First time in a spectrum store had to drop off equipment . When you walk in there is kiosk right away where you check in. This place should have maybe 2 set up. I was standing outside behind 1 person to check in. That stand was so close to the entrance. Then as I find a seat I noticed what most people here complain about that there was one or two employees here. I don't get if that's one of the biggest complaints why this location hasn't fixed that. T-Mobile is in the same location and they also now service home internet for the same price. Just saying. My service representative was really nice and helpful. But I can see the frustration of a full building and only 2 employees. Also for people just dropping off equipment maybe a drop off kiosk so you're not waiting in line with people with a million questions. read more

Spectrum cable / wifi is horrible and expensive. I would not recommend Spectrum to anyone looking for wifi and cable TV. My service has been going in and out for over a week and I pay $350 a month. I should not have to deal with this, especially paying this amount. read more

This is late but this review is from December 14th. The Customer Service i received at this store was above, beyond and exceptional. Brought my phone to get my sim card providers switched. Calling T Mobile customer service was less than ideal. Humberto a Spectrum rep took the extra steps to make the process easy, and deserves credit for a job well done. read more

It's super busy in store. The service was not very friendly. I was able to call in instead, and the tone was completely different. I felt like I was welcome to ask questions and had a good conversation with the representative. In store, everything I asked for or said felt like it bothered the rep. I recommend calling in and saving a trip. read more

Don't believe anything they tell you about price guarantee. I was told 2 year price guarantee and I have had my bill raised 3 times in the first 1 1/2 year. After speaking with someone in their customer service, they can't provide any proof that anything was told to me or given to me that I signed stating that they can raise their pricing. This location helped me solve my equipment return issues with minimizing my monthly bill payment. Followed the prompts given through phone customer service but all of my equipment was not released from customer service and still had a high monthly payment. The team at this location was able to assist the issue with my account. They were patient and understanding. I can not remember the manager or lead on duty name but the gentleman was very helpful. Spectrum Mobile's Billing Scam: Are You Paying for a Phone You No Longer Own? I am writing to bring attention to a serious and widespread issue with Spectrum Mobile's billing practices, which are not only deceptive but potentially fraudulent, violating both state and federal laws. Recently, my 82-year-old widowed mother visited the Spectrum store in Fontana, CA because her phone powered off despite having a full charge. She called me in a panic from the store after being told her line did not have insurance. I asked the representative to check again, and it was confirmed that there was no insurance on her phone. To my astonishment, I discovered that I have been paying $12.99 a month for insurance on a Galaxy S10 Ultra, a phone I traded in April 2022 when I purchased a Galaxy S22 Ultra. The billing statement showed the insurance charge under my phone number without any IMEI number or other identifying details. This made it impossible to know that I had been paying for insurance on a phone I no longer owned for over two years. When I brought this to Spectrum's attention and asked for the issue to be escalated, I was met with refusal and told nothing could be done. Spectrum's response was to blame me for not reviewing my bill more closely. While I accept that I should have reviewed my bill, the fact remains that the bill did not provide sufficient information to realize I was paying for insurance on a device no longer in my possession. This practice is not only unfair but deceptive, akin to the incorrect overdraft fees charged by banks in the past. There could be thousands of people like me unknowingly paying insurance on devices they no longer own. If this scenario affects just 1,000 people, Spectrum is potentially collecting nearly $159,000 per year through these deceptive practices. Let me break down why this is both unfair and deceptive: - Unfair Practices: Spectrum continued to charge me for insurance on a phone I no longer owned, without providing enough information on the bill for me to realize this was happening. This lack of transparency is a classic example of an unfair business practice. - Deceptive Practices: By not clearly stating which device was insured, Spectrum made it impossible for me to know I was being overcharged. This kind of deception is similar to how banks once incorrectly charged overdraft fees, leading to widespread consumer harm. This is a clear violation of California's Unfair Competition Law (Business and Professions Code § 17200), which prohibits any unlawful, unfair, or fraudulent business act or practice. It also violates the federal Consumer Financial Protection Act, which is designed to protect consumers from unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices. Spectrum's actions amount to defrauding customers, and they must be held accountable. I demand immediate action to: 1. Investigate this issue thoroughly. 2. Refund the insurance charges for the device I no longer own. 3. Ensure that other customers are not subjected to similar deceptive practices. Furthermore, I intend to escalate this matter to the appropriate federal regulatory authorities and consumer protection agencies. Spectrum must be held accountable for these deceptive practices, which amount to defrauding customers. If you or anyone you know has experienced similar issues with Spectrum Mobile, I urge you to speak up. Together, we can hold Spectrum accountable and stop these unfair practices. read more

This branch is extremely slow. Employees take there sweet time & stay in the back for like 15min. It's crazy. Trust me go to another branch

First off, store itself was pretty clean. There isn't much in there to begin with. Upon arrival you check in digitally. On the day of my visit there was initially only 3 employees. Wait time was OK. Was not a quick visit but definitely got help with what I needed and the great customer service I received from India somewhat made up for the wait time. read more

Spectrum is overpriced and has horrible customer service. My billing cycle was on the 15th and I returned and turned off all equipment by the 5th and they still want to charge me a whole month of service even though I did not have them because I didn't cancel before the 1st. I told them my cycle was the 15th and they said that it didn't matter. Don't waste your time. Use frontier read more

Did not have any interactions with this particular spectrum place but this is my concern I don't even have spectrum I've got a spectrum I've got a spectrum box in my front yard the box was so old and metal that had jagged edges on it and a little girl cut her leg.. I called spectrum They came out replace the box and put a gigantic box in my front yard that is way bigger than the original they dug up my yard without my permission And then try to cover it up with dead grass and trash what the heck Did you think I wouldn't notice that And left their orange cones I've called twice they're saying someone will come out to my property within 3to 5 businesses It took you about 5 minutes to F up my front yard but 5 days to come fix it .... So glad I don't have spectrum I've DirecTV.... So my gardener will come and repair my grass and I will send them the bill read more

Terrible customer service, went to spectrum today to fix billing issue, the guy pretty much blamed everything on us. We had our billing on auto pay yesterday. I noticed that it was taken off auto pay when I looked in the app. It was a different card that was not even mine to begin with the guy basically told me I've never had this problem with anyone only you, you can either switch to another carrier or pay the amount. If I could give this review of zero I would. read more

By far the worst customer service we've received! Spectrum has made it close to impossible to cancel service, at least without having to invest hours of your time jumping through their cancellation process. Absolutely unacceptable wait times over phone and store front. Also requesting equipment back from an alarm service "they" discontinued years ago is a bit ridiculous. That should have been addressed when they got out of the alarm business years ago, instead they're trying to trip customers up on a technicality of missing equipment. Spectrum should absolutely be ashamed of their business practices and address the lack thereof immediately! read more

I went there yesterday and was there for an hour and a half and it was close to closing time. an older man with glasses helped me and was very rude unprofessional and didnt care I was there waiting for that long with my crying baby. he gave me wrong information, he didn't give me my product because he was not knowledgeable about the situation! i Would never go there again! it's slow, their rude, and they don't know or respect what customer service (phone) has told you! read more

Only one employee in the building. About 10 people waiting in queue for help, I'm 6th in line. Had to leave after waiting an hour. I received the "It's Your Turn" text 41mins after that. read more

Tranfered my services because I moved,. Simple right, of course not. I told them cable was cut by previous occupant. Spent countless hours speaking to different people for one week and jumping over hoops because every day was something new. No one knows what they're doing. They cut my internet at my old place but still no internet at my new place. Got tired of all the lies and canceled ALL my services for both Internet and mobile. Returned all the equipment. They continued harassing me but when I tell them i cancelled services they can't help me. Called again mobile number and told them i cancelled last week. And still being harassed by phone, text and email that my billing started and activate my phone????? When will this end. Was with no internet for an additional week because I went with AT&T Fiber which I am loving but had to wait for availability. Disrupted my work, my kids school and continued harassment. if I get billed I will need to seek legal counsel and bill them for all my wasted hours on the phone and harassing calls, text and email at all times of the day. These employees are unprofessional!! You shouldn't be talking to people. So sad because I was a customer for many years. read more

Spectrum - Internet Service Providers Near Me - Fontana, California

First let me start by prefacing this complaint with why I was there in the first place. Att, my current internet provider, has had an outage in my area for the last 2 weeks. With that said I was looking elsewhere for more reliable service and Spectrum is within my area. I stopped by the store to start the process and was instantly asked in a demeaning tone "did you sign in"? I responded with "no I did not" which the Spectrum service rep Humberto responded with "Go sign in". .....alright already off to a rocky start as his demeanor, tone, and choice of words was not customer savvy. I tried to use the sign in tablet but unfortunately it was extremely unresponsive and it took me 6 taps and 15 seconds to get past the English or Spanish screen. After trying to type my name in multiple times and the tablet being unresponsive I then told Humberto that he would have to sign me in as the tablet is not working. He replied with "I am not going to sign you in"......after that I told him "well screw this I guess you don't want customers" and walked out. I returned later and asked him for his name, which he provided, and then followed it up with calling me crazy after scoffing. I also found out that the customer he was helping during this whole ordeal did not have a social security # and your rep told him to borrow someone else's. I am extremely dissapointed with your customer service and shady business practices. All he had to say was no problem I will get you setup in a minute and you would have had a new customer without this review. I will also be following this up with the CPUCs Customer Affairs Branch with the details listed above read more
