They were respectful and helpful over the phone. I came in the first time with a device that needed fixing. They fixed it but when I got home I noticed a part that was broken that wasn't broken before and the screen was white. The second time, I came in with an iphone repair. I noticed I couldn't power off the phone so I went back to fix it and then the buttons weren't working. Obviously, it's not the first time I had to come back to fix a problem. I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but I should've trusted the negative reviews -- they were spot on. When I first walked in, I told the guy straight up that the online reviews made me hesitant. He brushed it off, saying, "There's always going to be haters." He seemed confident and reassured me that if anything happened with the screen, I could come back within 30 days. That gave me enough peace of mind to go through with the repair, which cost me $65. Ironically -- and conveniently for them -- the screen started acting up on day 31. Completely black. I went back and explained the issue, thinking they'd stand behind their work. Instead, I was told I was outside the 30-day window and there wasn't much they could do -- but he'd "take a look." What he did next was hold down the side buttons to force a reboot, saw that the phone turned on, and said nothing was wrong. Then he told me, "A lot of customers say the same thing you're saying -- that their phones start acting up only after getting the screen fixed here." That's exactly the problem. If multiple people are saying this, maybe take accountability instead of brushing it off. Here I am a week later, and my screen is black again. I've had this phone for over three years, and never once experienced this kind of issue until I brought it to RepairIt. At this point, I feel scammed. $65 down the drain, no accountability, and a phone that's worse off than before. They'll tell you what you want to hear to get the sale, but don't expect them to back it up once you walk out the door. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere reputable. Entered with one problem on my iPhone and I left with 2 new ones. I Came in for a simple battery replacement on my phone and I left with my camera no longer working and now flash light issues. They give you a 30 day warranty for the part you came in with but never for the other parts they mess up on. They won't own up to their mistakes, they will always find another excuse that brings the responsibility upon you and out of your wallet. What a coincidence that my phones camera and flash light were working perfectly before the battery replacement? And now all of a sudden miraculously they both give out at the same time. The Technician messed it up and really avoided accountability and that's just not fair. Very unprofessional to mess up a job and not guarantee customer satisfaction. Strongly recommend staying away unless you're willing to pay for the newly created issues on your device. they wanted an extra $180 from me, no thank you, never again. Took my daughter's computer to have it cleaned out on Thursday. It was supposed to be ready Saturday, then told Monday. They were supposed to call me once done and they never did. I took it back to them and they refused to replace my screen. They claim my phone was dropped and that's why my screen is lifting. Lies.
