Please make it a point to visit this location by appt only. I walked in just to return a router and…read morenothing more. I figured it would not be too busy on a Sunday, I was so wrong. I was here about 90 min. There were about 15 customers ahead of me and they were all walk ins as well. And because a few of them wanted to either buy a new phone or watch, that caused a longer wait. There were only 3 employees working at the counters, plus, they had to take their breaks, so it was basically two employees working through the line of customers. I saw a few customers leave, they were tired of waiting. When I was finally called, the employee let me know an appt is always best because they are the only Spectrum store in Riverside. so it's a busy store. Side note, I was a little perturbed a customer walked in while some of us had already been there over 30 minutes waiting. He then walks past everyone and goes up to the counter and asks to replace a cable remote control. The employee gives him a new one and took the old one back. He then walked out. I didn't think that was right, he should have waited his turn like everyone else. So that chapped my hide a little. But I digress, the employees were nice, it's not their fault Spectrum doesn't hire more employees at this location. They do the best they can and they do take the time to help each customer with their requests. Just remember, if you walk in without an appt, especially on the weekends, expect to be there for awhile. Lesson learned for sure.

Rocky the Manager came in to take over the situation, and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me more than I couldve hoped for. I was truly impressed with how much she wanted to help me and all she did for me. Cant thank Rocky enough, she is excellent. I was extremely grateful and satisfied with my experience at her store. I waited about 10 minutes, not too bad. A young lady greeted me who was going to assist me in my upgrade. As I was explaining what I had for a trade in, she cut me off and interrupted me as I was telling her what I had, then she asked me a question about what my cell phone was doing, I started to explain and she cut me off again, got past that question and she asked me another question and again as I was explaining again she cut me off one more time, I was fuming at this point, but I stayed in control, she did it one more time as I spoke and I told her she needs to quit talking over me as it was rude, she just looked at me like I did something wrong. I was so mad at this point, I told her she was being very rude talking over me and she began to talk her salesmen nonsense. I told her I had enough because of her rudeness and I got up to leave the store. The rep who helped me looked at me like I did something wrong and told him she needs to quit drinking so much coffee. I don't know anyone who likes to be talked over like it's normal, I was so pissed as I left the store. If you need to buy or upgrade your Verizon cell phone from this store beware you will be dealing with rude sales staff. Best Buy was right across the street so I went there and the Verizon young lady there was so helpful and went over my options. I hope Verizon or the store manager or store owner calls me so I can file a complaint. 23 June 2026 UPDATE from Business Owner (see their response) It's a disappointment seeing that the business owner classifies being treated badly by rude company employees as a "bad experience". If the store had an HR department I would visit them, my question to the business owner is: how are you correcting bad behavior by your employees? I will NEVER go back to this store again, sort of questioning my long term partnership with Verizon.

He was friendly, fast and very professional. I live in a two-story home and Chris was up on the roof no problem and had my Starlink installed super fast. Chris was great and the price is a great value for the service Empire Satellites provide.

Practically everything in the follow up response by the owner is a blatant lie, further proving my…read morepoint that the guy has no integrity. 1. Original quote given did not specify a "covered cable" install. I would have declined right then and there. My router is located inside a room with no exterior walls. 2. I never "insisted" on using the mount that I bought. If it was indeed not suitable (which of course was not the case), it should have been explained exactly why. All this particular mount needed was a small block of 2x4 behind it, to clear the edge of tile roof. But Chris was too lazy and rushed to think it through. Instead, he claimed that it needed "an extension" (nope, it didn't), and proceeded to butcher my brand new fascia by driving six (!) lag bolts through the mount at haphazard angles. When I re-mounted the dish properly myself a few days later, I was appalled at the damage that was inflicted. 3. He is obviously not used to his customers checking the quality of his installs. He came up with "oh, it's not finished yet" line only after I showed him the photo of the shoddy work he has done, got up the ladder myself, and demonstrated how wobbly the mount still was. Before then, he kept insisting that the mount was installed perfectly. 4. Before he left, he did offer to install his "professional" mount for $100. It was NOT free of charge, as he claims. This sleazy used car salesman's last ditch upsell was the final straw for me. That's when I knew I had to post my review. I have nothing more to say - it is up to the reader to decide who is telling the truth. If you still decide to hire Empire Satellites to work on your home, be prepared to live with the consequences.
