Today, a young man knocked on my mother's senior apartment door, seemingly delivering medication. He said, *"Oh, I got this for you, I was told to bring it to you."* Naturally, I believed it was hospice medicine delivery. However, when I asked where he was from, he admitted, *"TruConnect."* This was deeply upsetting--he blatantly misled us, attempting to gain entry by deception. This type of behavior is **misleading, unsafe, and a violation of our community's strict **NO SOLICITING** policy**. I immediately shut the door, outraged at the attempt to take advantage of vulnerable seniors. How dare he assume the residents here wouldn't recognize his deceit? I will be reporting this to TruConnect's main office and notifying our security guard to ensure this does not happen again. For reference, the individual was a young man in his early 20s, with light brown curly hair and a slim build. **Residents--do not open your doors to strangers.** If anyone else has experienced this, I strongly encourage you to report it.
