The worst service I have encountered yet at a Verizon store. My phone has been malfunctioning and I just wanted them to order me a referb like all of the other Verizon stores have done in the past. Mind you my phone is not even a year old and is still under manufacturers warranty. They told me I would have to pay the insurance deductible to get any kind of a new phone. There is no physical damage to my phone and it is not lost or stolen, and it is under warranty it just doesn't allow me to answer all of my calls, freezes, and drops calls so while the hell would I have to go through the insurance?! I told them to take a hike. I will be going to the Pleasanton store where I know I will actually be able to get help. Unbelievable. You can get better service over the phone with tech support than u can in this store. read more

Strongly recommend going elsewhere, preferably to a company-owned store rather than a retailer, and particularly this retailer. They misrepresent, their business ethics are deplorable, and they simply cannot be trusted to do as they represent. One example: A customer orders a phone and before he can pick it up they sell it to someone else. They then try to switch phones by giving a phone to the customer with much lower memory. Not a good way to do business. Further, in general terms, if you need repairs, want to put something such as a charge on your account, etc., they are unable to accomplish this for you. That's why a company store such as Walnut Creek, despite the inevitable wait for service, is preferable. As to this specific retailer, while the people are nice, the level of service and trust are minimal. Don't look for trouble. GO ELSEWHERE. read more

I went to the guys at 4G after alot of wasted time trying to set up the family locator on my child's phone. They had never seen her phone before but we're willing to jump in and help. As it turns out the phone had not been completely set-up up by the last store. After fixing this they went through the whole process of setting up the GPS on both of our phones, book marked it for me and tested it. What a horrible experience. Shame on us....it's our second time we have had a bad experience, but because it's in a convenient location we went here. We were the first customers in the store. Wanted to add a line and new phone, as well as up-grade my husbands phone. The total time spent was 4.5 hours. They completely screwed up the data transfer and then took forever trying to fix it. All while still juggling other customers and extending our stay. While they told us it would take 45 minutes to complete the transfer we left and told them we would come back in an hour. When we came back an hour later the phone is on the counter and they have not completed the transfer because still with other customers. We then left with the agreement that they would call as soon as ready so we could come pick it up. After an hour they had not called, so when we called them they said yes it was ready....again total lack of following through. Try the Walnut Creek store. read more

I called the corporate number to dispute being charged in store as well as on my monthly bill for a new phone activation. They said to get a receipt from the store I went to, so I had a paper trail. Called the store and asked for them to send me a copy of my receipt since I was charged twice on my bill. First they said it wasn't possible to get a receipt for my transaction. I had to haggle with them, and they said they had no way of sending me a copy, that I'd have to come pick up a paper copy in person. Sort of funny considering it's a communication company. Then after arguing back and forth, he agreed to text me a copy. I give him my number, wait 15 minutes. Nothing. Then I receive a text from him trying to tell me why the charge is valid and that a receipt isn't necessary. Again, I ask to just send it anyway. An hour goes by, still nothing. Frustrating to have to call, text, and email for what should be a simple transaction, and still no resolution. read more

After being disappointed by the service I received the day before, I went back in the next day and Noabe fixed all the issues the employee who helped me the day before could not. Came to this store to get a new phone and the manager told me that it would take up to 6 weeks to receive it. Ended up buying a color I didn't want as much because I didn't want to wait that long, and found out later that it would have shipped in 4 days. When I tried to return it 2 days later, they told me that it would cost $50 for a restocking fee, and they wouldn't waive the fee even though they lied about how long it would take to get the phone. They also sold me insurance even though I already had an insurance plan. These guys are all about commission and aren't there to help you. Go to a Verizon Corporate store instead of this knock-off. Verizon Corporate would have accepted the return and been honest about me already having insurance instead of trying to make a commission off the additional insurance plan. read more

It is the worse customer service. I walked into the store on Saturday asking about upgraded my phone, with an expired 2 year contract. Store manager explained that there is no 2 years contract anymore so I had no choice but to do month to month and I found out after calling Verizon customer service that I had been signed up to make payments of $30 a month for a phone that I was only supposed to get for $99??? Nobody answers the phone at this store and mailbox is full. I just wonder how many people gets bad customer service and signed up for things that they didn't ask for. Unfortunately went to another store and they can't solve the issue, neither phone customer service, only Danville store can and the person that took my case on Saturday doesn't even work at that store. I agree with all the other reviews. we got totally ripped off. bait and switch of the worst kind. they lied and lied and lied. I finally went to a corporate store in Walnut Creek and was able to trade in my old phones on the spot and instantly get trade in credit and a receipt to send in for the Switch program. I will never go back to that store. the also gave us a 32 gig phone when we asked for a 16 and never told us till we got our bills from Verizon. read more

I've had occasion to go to this store at least six times in the past year for help/assistance with my IPhone. I have worked with Alberto, Mike, Paul and Channelle. Every single time I not only got my questions answered, and/or my problem(s) fixed, but all of the four above named people treated me with kindness, patience (no matter how busy the store was they never rushed me), humor and respect. I am very electronically challenged but was never made to look foolish. Every time I left this store I marveled at the customer service that I received and I decided that it was time to express my very favorable views. I'd like to give a big shout out to TK at Danville Verizon Wireless. I brought in my tired hotspot Jetpack for an upgrade. TK was very helpful and let me know of this month's $50 rebate. While things were processing, he printed all the docs for the rebate, had me fill out what was necessary and even provided me with an envelope to send the rebate back. Who does that?! I purchased an iPad for myself during the holidays. I had been told by friends to go to Verizon to purchase a Hot Spot, so I could use it for my business, which is real estate sales. So, I finally stopped by the store in Danville to get this, and get help with how to use my iPad. Abraham and Andrew were fabulous!! Not only did they help me get my new equipment all set up, but they helped me connect my new keyboard/case (still in the box!!), and get me out of there in time to attend my class that I'd signed up for, how to use my iPad in selling real estate. They are both great, very accommodating, very intelligent, and knew what I needed. I will always recommend them to anyone who needs help. I am a Verizon fan anyway, and like their service. I took my old phone in hoping that the numbers could be transferred to another phone that I had. There was a problem with the old phone. It would not turn on, even though the battery was fully charged. Eli was great. He tried many different things and finally was able to successfully complete the transfer. I upgraded to a new phone I phone. There was 7 employees behind the desk, all with their personal phone in hand texting away. The guy helping me seemed to be more interested the other customer who was purchasing new phones. He actually said, "uh, I'm going to have someone else finish this." I assume because he wanted commission or something. The new person was equal if not less interested in helping me. She never even said a word to me. Then She passed me back to him. I honestly had no idea what was taking so long. After about an hour of standing around and not knowing what was taking so long, I said I had to leave. Then a phone call was made, to "clear up" the issue with my upgrade. The sales person started arguing with the person on the phone. I was done... I was leaving - (I am still waiting). I left, and said I would be back in an hour. When I came back... the people who were waiting previously, were still there! I think having 7 employees standing around, not interested is enough. Nobody seemed happy to be there, I do have my new phone. I cant wait to see my bill since Im sure it will be jacked up in some way. Went in with a problem with my HTC phone after the latest update. Sales rep looked at my phone didn't think anything was wrong, handed it back and walked away. He did tell me they haven't had any issues with the latest update. So there is something wrong with my phone. I have insurance, I have money, I have the need to repair or replace my phone but this guy decided it was more fun sitting behind the counter doing nothing. I switched service from AT&T to Verizon this month. I did a lot of research before switching to make sure I got the best service plan and phone that was right for me. The manager of the Verizon store in Danville was so very helpful to me in making this decision. He helped me choose a Droid Maxx, the battery last longer than any other phone. I am so please with it, and the coverage is great. I live up against a hillside and I had to stand out in my front yard to make or receive a phone call with my AT&T personal phone and my Sprint work phone. The Verizon phone works great anywhere in my house, and more places that I travel. The service at this store is also awesome. I recommend them to everyone. read more

I went in to get a new phone and switch service providers from Sprint. I also wanted to move all contacts from my old phone to the new one and to keep the same phone number. Further, I had a modem stick from Sprint that I was not sure about replacing with a Verizon version. The person who helped me, my "Wireless Consultant", was Abraham. The store owner was on site as well, helping others who came in. Abraham could not have been better - he explained my choices, the costs of all options I might want, and was clear about what might work best for me. He never pushed for one option over another but instead explained the pros and cons of each choice. When it came to selecting accessories, such as the phone case, he brought an array of choices to the counter for me to look at rather than sending me over the the display case to check them out for myself. I ended up deciding on getting a wireless modem as well, which came with a $50 rebate. Getting the rebate requires sending in about 6 pages of paperwork, and happily Abraham printed out all the paperwork, highlighted the items I needed to fill in, and even gave me an envelope to use to send in the forms. I think he would have sent them in for me were it not for the case that Verizon gives you a two week trial period for the new purchase, so they suggest you not send the rebate request in until you have decided that you definitely want the devices. Meanwhile the store owner chatted with us when she was not busy with other customers. She was very helpful as well. I'll be heading back to the store to ask some questions about setting up my new phone, which I would not normally do - I'd be stubborn and try to figure things out for myself. But since I know I'll get the same great service, why not save myself some time and frustration? I may be a Verizon fan for life... read more

I went to purchase a cord to charge my phone. I was told my phone was not fuctioning because it was a problem that was not going to be solved by a new cord. Sold me a new phone misrepresenting everything from start to finish. Went back to complain and the manager was no longer employed so a new manager listened and said she would pass complaint to the owner and he would get back soon. Two weeks later I still had no contact so have tried to resolve with Corp. offices but they are giving me a very hard time because it is Danville ofc problem. If Verizon lets their reps misrep the goods in order to make a sale I think it may be time to find a new carrier. I have tried for over 6 weeks to get this resolved. They said it is clearly a big mess but just keep putting me off. I always held Verizon above the others. I am now rethinking my opinion in regards to their customer service. read more

Walked in today to buy a screen protector, the assistant manager was the one helping me. He stepped away to make rude comments about one of the other customers. All the while had his phone playing music, the music sounded like a alarm told him about it said it was just his phone. Worse yet was he installed the screen protector with a bit of particles underneath and it isnt possible to fix by myself since the screen protector must be installed in the store. Wouldnt choose to go back to this location if this is how the assistant manager conducts himself, makes me doubt the employees under his watch conduct themselves any differently. I arrived shortly after the store opened and as soon as I walked into the store, I was greeted with a friendly "Welcome and how can I help you". Ryan assisted me with choosing my phone, accessories, transferring all my info from my old phone to the new one and showed me some new features my new phone has. Ryan was friendly, helpful and experienced which made my visit an enjoyable one. I will be sure to recommend this store to my friends and return whenever I need cell phone assistance.
