I've been a Verizon customer since the LA Cellular days, needless to say, many years. This has been my "go to store" since it opened and has historically had great customer service and a solid team. I'm not sure what happened, but things have gone south in a big way. From being met at the door by an employee and security, which seemed a tad overkill (I get it, but really . . . have security on stand-by, not part of the "greeting / escort team".), then serviced by a seemingly inexperienced associate, who was more interested in giving me the canned pitch vs. listening to and addressing my questions. No doubt, these are tough times and concessions must be made and considerations given, however, when going to a brick and mortar store is less helpful than the virtual experience, say good bye. read more

We all are aware that Covid has created a limit in stock for items but the girl we talked to told us both of our items are in stock and we did all the steps just to then find out, the items are no longer available...shouldn't we have been told this in advance? ALSO! it was hard to keep the attention of the employees because they were on a specific phone watching and laughing at a video! I switched to Verizon from T-mobile. I went into Verizon and was right away greeted by VIN. I recommend everybody coming to this Verizon and talk with Vin, he literally explained every single thing, about my plan, the phones, how much I will be paying for seven lines, literally everything, he didn't leave anything out. He was nice and very patient, we were in there for like 2 hours and never did he lose his patience. I really recommend Vin when it comes to this Verizon. Verizon has not failed me yet. Very upset with the way this place took advantage of my mother in law. She was house sitting for us and came here when her phone totally died. She made it clear to them that she was on our bill and wanted to pay for the new phone completely out of her pocket that day and not charge anything to our account. Sales man led her to believe she was out the door for $158. Low and behold we get our bill this morning and there is an additional $391 charge on our account along with an $11 a month protection fee. Absolutely no mention of it at the time of purchase when they called us to verify that she was on our account and buying a new phone. She feels completely misled and taken advantage of. Verizon should be embarrassed that they are using the bait and hook on seniors coming in for help. Maybe commissioned employees isn't the right way to go... read more

I went to visit this location to fix some issues with my plan. Marvee was the man that helped me with my Verizon plan issues. Once the issues were fixed, Marvee helped me set up Apple Music on my phone since it came with my plan for free. He also went out of his way to help me set up a ZAGG account so I can get my screen protector replaced since it was damaged. I added up opening a new line and bought the new iPad. Thank you for the great service and professionalism. I will return here again. read more

So here's the deal... I'm giving this location 5 stars purely on the immaculate service I received from a sales representative named Charleen. She was extremely helpful and was not an annoying or pushy sales person. Charleen was incredibly patient with me, answered all my questions, and helped me get my new phone up and running with screen protector and case on and everything. She really took her time and cared about my satisfaction. There was a manager that was hovering a lot and was trying to rush her along to help other customers when she wasn't I usher helping me yet, I did not appreciate his impatience at all. I felt that was very rude actually. Charleen still did everything she could to finish helping me as much as possible, and the pushy annoying manager dude transferred my contacts for me (the last step). I was applauded at how rude he was, and when I asked him about whether my pictures would be transferred too he said no and you could tell he didn't give a crap. He seriously just wanted to scoot me along and get the next customers helped. It wasn't even bust either. One person behind me in line...... He was a bad manager in my opinion- if I was to give him a rating it would be 0 stars. However Charleen deserves 5 gold stars because she was amazing. Hopefully she stays at that location because I will go to her and only her for assistance and questions. That manager can go pound some sand. Verizon needs to drop him like a bad habit. read more

There is a reason why when looking for this verizon store, every other verizon store that was rated had only 1 star...almost every verizon store you go into hires the most condescending, rude people they can find. Why? I have no idea...but if you do the search in this area, that's the universal truth. I WAS with Verizon at a point in my life but on the visits to this store, i was here for my mom and my sisters who live in the area and are loyal verizon customers. When you walk in, they have one person standing out front. No matter who the person is, they're very cold. (especially this one girl) It goes beyond not smiling or not even making a fake attempt at looking welcoming. They're as warm as Simon Cowell, just a meancing grimace as you plead to be served. They're not helpful and look like they're just there to correct your stupid phone questions. Then there's the clerks that help you. SOME of them can be nice...SOME. The others are (now here comes the special word of this review) CONDESCENDING! They just give this awkward, "You're not worthy of my time" kind of vibe. They'll help you but its neither sincere or hospitable. There's a clerk here, i believe his name was josh, who literally acted semi-stoned through the experience, On my latest visit, my mom wanted to purchase a mi-fi. My mom gave her synopsis on what she wanted and he would just stand, giving us a blank stare with a slight smirk on his face, and then after my mom was done, he would blink and say, "ok, you wanted internet?" So not proactively listening and not being helpful with suggestions, just seemed to scan for buzz words in my mom's conversation and then upsell us on the most expensive whatever it is we wanted and then get us out. When my mom decided to buy she sent me back to her house to get her laptop and of course the clerk looked delighted and chuckled to himself about my mom bossing me around. I brought it down and he got to work (SLOWLY) on getting the software set up. He even took phone calls in between helping my mom. The other clerks running about seemed nice enough, they would ask us how we were doing now and then, however, their unapologetic bragging about future sale they were going to make that day was also off-putting. There were also some personal things that were done but since i am trying to keep this relevant to the experience of doing business with the store, i'll omit those details. All that you need to know is that if at all possible, use phone customer service. At least the phone people give you some shreds of RESPECT, which is something the children who work at verizon stores dont give. its unfortunate that ive had one too many unhelpful, slow-going and just plain rude verizon experiences in my life. At the store off McKinley, i can recall being shouted at by the clerks about having to sign-in and standing around for an hour or more without being helped or acknowledged. So this store just might be the lesser of 2 evils, but just brace yourself for an experience. Not to say you might not have a great one, but this is my experience and they deserve to know they're not that helpful. (oh and anyone who cares to dispute this, if you have only one 5-star review, no picture and your review is for this store...if yelp's taught me anything, you're probably an associate of this store.) read more

RUN AWAY.... WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. SO much that I am cancelling my 2 year contract as well as my FIOS. On July 7th 2014 I went in to "get free" tablet for just installing FIOS in my home. 1 hour later and 2 iphones and "the free" tablet I left the location. Cost of Iphone 5 and Iphone 4 was $130 Cost of taxes on tablet was $25 Total cost of my 1st visit= $155 The sales girl (I think her name was Shelly) as well as the manager Yadira were too eager to add on all the"bonus" of no activation fees, family monitoring so my girls wouldn't go pass the data USE, then I left the location. They were so eager to have me leave that they called me back 40 minutes later telling me to come back and pick up my tablet. Guess in the rush to get me out they forgot to put it in my bag. I should have NEVER gone in for the free offer. Not only has it turned so nasty in my 14-day cancellation, that so far this has cost me so much from the untold charges that I could incur for returning the items. $35 for each Iphone x 2 ($70) , $70 for the tablet = $140 2 days after going in I called customer service to inquire the breakdown of my plan. That's when this whole ordeal began. I was NEVER told that I was signing a 2 yr data plan on the table for $10 monthly fee. When I went in a 2nd time to question the sales manager, I was informed by Yadira that its 1 signature and 2 contracts I was signing. Which was not the truth when I went in originally. There is something wrong when they sneak a 2yr contract under the pretense of tax receipt. I was with in my 14 day return time frame that took over an 1hr to get rid of all the items I originally got on 7/7/14. To the extent that I threaten to call the police and file a report. The store manager Scott was not cooperative, sales manager Yadira non cooperative as well and the sales girl that helped me NEVER showed her face to clear things up. As soon as I entered into the store she hid and so did all management. Somehow they all had "conference call" I am cancelling all my services with Verizon. That stores action has left the nasty taste of not wanting to do business and give my hard earn money to snakes. 1st visit I spent $155 2nd visit I spent $ 140 total in this nightmare = $295 DON'T DO BUSINESS IN THIS STORE. DON'T SIGN ANYTHING UNTIL THEY PRINT IT FOR YOU. AND DON'T TAKE THEIR WORD FOR IT....you have been WARNED. OMG! Where do I begin? Well, before I forget to tell you this. If you've got more then 1 or more people ahead of you...try to come back when its empty. If you don't mind a long wait, then go for it. You'll see what I'm talking about, read on. 1 star is being nice, in all honesty if I could go on to the negative side of stars...I'd gladly give them 5 pissed off faces. I am a loyal Verizon customer, and its sad to say I probably always will, but customer service phone calls aren't the problem. Its the staff in the Verizon stores that really chaps my hide! I have unfortunately from time to time found a need to go to the Verizon store, which I avoid at all costs. I tell you the truth, EVERY visit I have ever made has only made me hate this store more and more. So here is the annoying journey to Verizon...all the time: It used to be, when you first walk in to the store, some kind of associate takes your name down and tells you if you're up next, or have a million people in front of you. Nowadays, there are screens where you can type in your name and immediately see who's up ahead. BUT, the last time I went to this freakin store, I started to type my name in, when the Verizon employee stopped me and put my name in himself as if I was some idiot. Really buddy? Its pretty self explanatory, and even if it wasn't I'd ask you for help to type my own name and number down if I couldn't figure it out. So, now its a waiting game where you're always going to be the sorry loser, and its the longest one ever. I have had to wait close to an hour to get help. While you're sitting somewhere in the store, ready to shoot yourself of irritating boredom, not one Verizon worker checks on you. You can have the most frustrated, "this is ridiculous" look on your face, and not one person will acknowledge that you're alive. Then you look around and find that there are some staff members who seem to walk back and forth, they may be busy doing something...who knows!?! None of those grazing employees get redirected to help the waiting customers, so you get pissed off even more. Look....if a grocery/retail store like Target opens lanes to reduce lines and waiting, shouldn't you do the same? Sometimes, its rare, but sometimes you'll get one who'll ask you what you need. You then get your hopes up, you proceed to tell him what you're there for, he takes your phone to make it look like he's going to fix it, only to be told, "ok, we'll be with you as soon as we can. There's one person ahead of you, so it'll be just a couple minutes." You just wanna take your heavy, well built, Motorola Droid and clobber him with it after making you feel like the moron for getting excited over false help. After decades of waiting its finally your turn, and the guy/gal who gets you repeatedly apologizes for the unbelievable wait time. You tell them what's wrong yada yada yada...then the rest of the time its just uncomfortable silence while you wait some more. There's just no customer service/stisfaction from the time you walk in, to the time its your turn. Your pissed off frown will not turn upside down until you get in to your car, and vent to someone about how much you hate the store's staff. So, the lesson here folks.....call Verizon and try to fix the problem over the phone, as to avoid the above. read more

This location is a Verizon Corporate Store that only cares about the customers who will give them commission by purchasing the phone there. I was helped by the very rude and disrespectful gal associate with the name of Sherry, and she did not want to take the phones that were valid for trade in. I had opened my account at another Verizon corporate store out of town (in Fremont, CA), and I was supposed to return my old phones for trade-in at any Verizon corporate location. My mom went in instead of me, and called me over the phone panicking that the Verizon store won't accept the trade-in. I took the call, and Sherry treated us like we didn't know anything, and when I wanted to speak with the manager she said "My manager is with a customer. She's not gonna want to take this call. She doesn't wanna talk to you" If I was able to speak with the manager, she would have been able to direct me that the trade-in will be possible with the promo code. After speaking with the location I purchased the phone from, I learned that the promo code is needed for the trade-in, and was able to submit the phones for trade-in. I have filed a complaint with the corporate customer service representative yesterday, and I am expecting an apology from the associate Sherry, and also the manager at this location who "does not want to talk to customers" Will I ever visit this location? No. If you are going to open new lines and accounts, they will probably be nice to you, since the commission is ALL they care about. They have absolutely no devotion towards the corporate franchise system. read more

STOLE MY IDENTITY! Went into this store to add a line and get a flip phone for my son. It was going to be his first phone so we could call us if there was an emergency. The first red flag was that they charged us for a charger that never was put into our bag, but that was just the start of the problems. Turns out that hours after we left, someone submitted a contract for an iPhone 8 and another line to our account. The contract doesn't have our signature on it (just an obviously forged squiggly line) and we were not at the store when the contract was submitted so basically they stole our identity. Now we have been on hold with Verizon for about 6 hours total and still have not gotten an explanation as to how this happened or even been able to talk with someone from the fraud department. Cell service with a side of Identity Theft -- No thank you! It looks like someone at this store is stealing customers identity and having them pay for iPhones... BE CAREFUL! read more

First off you need to know you will get different OFFERS and SERVICES from different locations because Verizon has their own DIRECT stores and also allows INDIRECT stores to sell their products. Direct means they are Verizon owned and operated and Non Direct means they are not. This location IS A DIRECT STORE, Owned and Operated by VERIZON. I live minutes from this store. I have been in there more than once to ask for help with two older devices, each time I was treated as if I was not good enough for them to serve me. I got the feeling they are all about SELLING new contracts and not interested in spending their time helping existing customers. For the record, I have been a Verizon customer so long I think they were a different company name when I started my service. For the record, I called and complained directly to Verizon, I also informed them I made my most recent purchase for a Top of the Line Smart Phone and Two year contract with an Indirect Store as their corporate store lost me with their unwillingness to help me with my previous older Device issues. read more

So, we had too go into the store twice, the first time we went in the store had to order the phones we wanted which was fine they actually came earlier then scheduled but we got all the paper work done picked the plans and all that but the best part was how nice they were. We are an older couple and needed help. MJ who did our check in was great and patient then we picked out what we wanted with Vin who was also great and told us when we got the phones they'd help us get things transferre. The store was clean and everyone was nice and professional. our phones can in so back to the store and Jamaine helped us. We were like kids getting new toys and lost we are in our 70's so we needed patience and Jamaine was so great, funny, kind and supportive. Took his time and made sure we knew what we doing. The store started getting busy but Jamaine took the time he needed for us. Something we were dreading turned out to be a good experience. read more

I have been to other local Verizon stores and this one is the best of the bunch. I have never had a very long wait here,15 minutes at the most on one visit in 2011. Today I went there because I had waited so long to upgrade that my old "dumb Phone" was not able to talk to my new Smart phone! Super nice girls at the front signed me in and I was being helped in 2 minutes. James had my contact info transferred quickly and accurately. People find it easy to Yelp and complain when they are cranky but it is nice to take a second to note when a store has given awesome service too and this Verizon has done just that. read more

I'm writing a review based on experience here. I do not have service with Verizon but was here with my cousins. My cousins were here to upgrade their phone since their current one was broken. We walked in, we were treated by friendly staff. They were super busy and were able to hold the fort down with everyone that was in there. They offered water to everyone which I thought was nice. now the ugly......I understand that as an associate you're suppose to sell service and product. ok sure that's fine. My cousin wanted to buy a phone out right for her son. They were trying to tell her that on a payment plan it's cheaper. She didn't care and didn't want a payment plan. she didn't want to resign a 2 year contract even though she has been with Verizon for over 10 years. It was just something she wasn't comfortable with. So when a client declines and says no thank you, I just want to buy the phone out right...just let them be. don't push and say way you're losing money and blah blah blah. there's always some kind of hidden terms in their contract. For example, this hidden term was whenever the contract was up and you renew your new one, you have to return your old phone. So it's like you're renting your phone for 2 years. something she didn't want to do. I was standing right beside them and I can tell that the associate we were working with was getting a little hostile so the manager comes by and she wasn't as pleasant either.... Like I said, I understand you're selling service and products. I understand you have a goal to meet. But don't get hostile. you'll lose customers like that. read more

This store is horrible and the customer service is subpar. We switched from AT&T to Verizon but it was a mistake. I purchased a smart phone that started have intermittent speaker problems 4 month after buying the phone. They refused to fix the problems and said that they would have given us a refurbished phone as a replacement, as if that was a problem for me. I said we would take the refurbished phone. They then said never mind and said that they would not replace my phone. I would never shop at that Verizon store again and will be switching back to AT&T. I bought a verzion phone from bestbuy online and unfortunately, the activation was set to future date. I reached out to verizon and best buy customer care. Both tried their best for couple of hours and unable to fix the issue. I took the phone to this store 30mins before their closing time. I was immediately helped by a representative (I think his name is Malvic). He was able to pull my account, swapped the sim and set it up within 15 mins. Nobody in the store tried to market or sell anything. They just helped with my issue without any hesitation even though, i didnt buy the phone from them. Much appreciate. read more

I went in on Monday to get a new iPhone. Was told that the one I wanted was out of stock and I could order it. No problem. In the meantime, I was sold accessories for the phone that were "necessary", however I later learned that they are not. I was pressured into purchasing insurance for the phone after making it clear that I didn't want it. I ordered it and it was delivered to my house on Wednesday. When I went to activate the phone it would not activate so I went into the store on Thursday morning. The sales associate was very little help and told me to call customer support that night (had to be 24 hr after I initially tried activating the phone). I was promised that the phone number was a 24/7 number. Well that was a lie. In addition, she was dismissive about concerns we had regarding charges on the bill. Phone would still not activate so I went back Friday morning. The store was scheduled to open at 10 and I waited outside with several other customers for 40 minutes before leaving. Not opening a business on time is simply not acceptable! read more

Worst experience ever!! Went to upgrade my phone. Which I share line with family. When I got home i got it all set up. Then realized he used the wrong line . Since i activated it the other line was not available to the other family member. Which they happened to be out of state on vacation with no phone for a couple hrs. Thankful was able to get a hold of them through the hotel to let them now what has happened. Finally resolved 40 min later. With Verizon 24hr line. Since the store was closed. I also got a screen protector on my new phone and has a giant bubble in the screen. I called the store talk to the manager Kyle was not apologetic and acting like it was not a big deal at all. I agree, the service at this store is horrible. The sales/service people are rude and their manager has no clue how to teach his people how to treat people with respect. They also claim to have knowledge of their products. I don't think so... I learned more about the new Droid during my 30 min wait for assistance then the sales guy knew. They work with these products on a daily basis and are clueless. Their staff needs to read a manual and get more training than what they see on the commercials. Anyway, avoid this store... Now I know what you might be thinking. Why would anyone ever rate a Verizon store 5 stars? Why would anybody ever rate a phone service provider store with 5 stars period. Well to tell you the truth I've never really had a great experience at this particular store. I went in about a month ago to check out some of the service plans that Verizon offered only to be told to wait a few minutes to be assisted. Those few minutes turned into a miserable 20 minutes wasted in my life. Therefore I left without even being approached by anybody within the 20 minutes of my stay. I ended up heading out to the Verizon store located on Hamner in Norco to open up my new Verizon account with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which I would totally recommend for anybody. So here's the reason why the Corona location gets a 5 star rating. I ended up having to go back to the Verizon store for some billing issues my family had this month. (It's sad but I am not included in "our" family haha) Not expecting much from this location I walked in and to my surprise, I was greeted immediately by a guy name Nikko. This guy was totally chill about everything and seemed to genuinely want to help out a customer. Helped me and my brother for a good 30+ minutes and finally resolved the issues. Couple of days later, had to go back with the entire family because everybody was switching phones. Immediately Nikko recognized me and my brother, approached us, asked us what he could do for us, than one at a time helped all of us out with our problems. He even helped me out with a bunch of questions I had about the new Note 3 I was rocking. Main point being, probably the best experience I've ever had at a phone service providers store because individual agents like Nikko helped make all that happen. I'd recommend asking for Nikko the next time you need to stop by this Verizon store location. (brownie points for Nikko for having the Final Fantasy VII victory ringtone) (^_^) read more

My experience today was like dealing a pushy car salesman. I had to decline an offer over 5x's! I understand that the gentleman (I declined to look at his badge)was just doing his sales job, but he did not know when to stop. He was pushy and cocky and rudely asked "why not" numerous times!! I felt that he was trying to impress his audience of co-workers and possibly his supervisor. When I finally got upset, I told him not to get offended when I declined his "audience" left the area for him to complete my order. The only reason why I didn't leave was because my boyfriend was exhausted from working overnight and we needed the phone. This is the ONLY store I've ever experienced such a horrible experience. The next day I went to the store on Griffin (Corona) to purchase a case and that store treated me with more respect. Yes, that store tried selling me an additional accessory but only tried once and respected my decline. After an hour after leaving the store (The Crossing-Cajalco)we realized we did not get the contracts transferred to the new phone. A different employee (Aaem)assisted us with little enthusiasm we also had a question on memory card. Instead of helping us, his response was "go to the setting and you can figure it out". I've never experiences such horrible service at any Verizon store. One star rating for this particular store is too generous. read more
