I'm a long time radio operator. My first 2 way radio was when I was 7. We won't mention how many different ones I've used over more than a few decades. Radios need stuff that one doesn't find in a 7 Eleven or Walmart. If you spend much time with radios, you'll finally want to modify or install. If you install a few, you'll learn better ways of installing. Thus why I shop from Powerwerx online. It has the quality cables, lugs, connectors, 2 way radios, DC power accessories, zip cord and tools to do the job right. They sell quality made products (Anderson Powerpole, West Mountain Radio, and many others). All of my shopping with them is online at powerwerx.com . I often use the previous order history so I know precisely what I used 5 years ago to make sure I get the right replacement items. They have great descriptions and pictures to help you realize why you need this or that. If you need assistance, contact them as they are happy to help. They package shipments well, have great prices and orders arrive quickly.

I have purchased Powerwerx products over the years for boats, trailers, vans and assorted electronic projects. I recently purchased a receiver for my truck for 120 amp anderson connector. I installed it as I waited for my new Airstream. the delivery was late by two months. The very first time I used the connector the door broke off. I contacted Powerwerx and asked for a replacement. Because the product was more than one month old they told me to contact the manufacturer (in Australia) and that they would not stand behind the product. I would urge anyone contemplating a purchase of a product from Powerwerx to use care as they DO NOT stand behind their product if even slightly out of their strict 1 month warranty. I was a VP of product in two consumer product companies and there is no way we would have denied the replacement.

After meeting with Mario and pricing out the parts and build for a new PC, it was clear the PC purchase would have been over budget. Mario recommended a prebuilt PC from them called PowerSpec. He showed us the G535 and it had everything we wanted in a gaming PC but for almost $500 off the retail price if we had PC built. I asked why was it cheaper and Mario told us the PC was built before the rise in prices on the memory and GPU. We then met with James Tran who showed us the G535. I noticed they had an open box PC. James explained to us the open box was a return for resale at a cheaper price. It was $100 cheaper. We bought the PC and took it home. Unfortunately all was not well with the PC. When playing two different games, (Marvel Rivals & Ark: Survival Ascended) the PC freezes for 10 seconds and reboots to the desktop. I tried troubleshooting by playing two different Benchmarks and lowering the GPU graphics, deleting and reinstalling updated drivers and lowering video resolutions but to no avail. Every time my son would play the games the PC froze and rebooted. This lead me to believe there are hardware issues with the PC. Luckily the PC was still within their 14 day return policy for returns, exchanges and refunds. We decided we did not want to have their techs try to diagnose the problem with the PC and just return and exchange for a new one. MC's return and exchange process was very simple. You go online to their website, log into your account and file a return. You are given a QR code and just then head to MC. When we arrived (the nearest MC is Tustin which is 2 hours away), we met with James Tran again who helped us with the process. I explained to James what the issues were with the PC. He told us the option of walking over to their Tech area of the store and having their guys try and diagnose the PC. I told James we would rather just exchange it for a new one. James understood our situation and spoke with his manager who allowed us to exchange the return for a new PC at the open box price so we did not have a to pay the difference. MicroCenter staff especially their managers (forgot their names) along with Mario and James Tran were awesome. They truly satisfied our experience at their Tustin store and made our teenager son very happy. So far everything is working properly with the replacement PC. I'll do a follow up if things change. Thank you again MicroCenter!

I wanted to donate my MacBook to someone in need and this looked like a promising solution. Queueing and "checking out" was quick, as the team member just needed to register my device and provided me with a receipt for tax purposes.

Title: Mismanaged install process, forced into a $600+ overhaul, and ghosted by support…read more I am deeply disappointed with the store operations, communication, and lack of support from Best Buy's Autotech department (Fullerton Store #2514). My original goal was simple: keep a low-profile, clean OEM look in my 2018 Toyota RAV4 while upgrading the sound. I brought in a complete setup--4 new Kicker door speakers and a compact Kicker KEY200.4 DSP amplifier--specifically designed to run off the factory radio. I explicitly consulted with a Level 2 Master Autotech beforehand about this exact build. On install day, however, the store assigned a basic installer to my vehicle who clearly wasn't briefed on factory DSP integration, and that's when the goalposts started moving while my car was sitting in the bay: Call #1 from the Bay: The installer called me mid-install stating my Kicker amp was "incompatible" with my factory radio and that I needed a new head unit. Call #2 from the Bay: A short while later, he called again to say the cheaper JVC unit he initially suggested wouldn't work either, pushing me into a far more expensive Pioneer touchscreen (DMH-W3050NE), an iDatalink Maestro module (ADS-MRR), and full dash kits/harnesses. The Reality: The Kicker KEY200.4 is literally engineered by Kicker for factory radio integration using high-level speaker inputs. It was 100% compatible with my RAV4 to power those 4 new Kicker speakers. While the installer did get the Pioneer radio working fine in the end, Best Buy's scheduling system put him in an unfair position by assigning him a factory-integration job that required specialized T-harnessing or line-output setup. Instead of bringing in a Master Tech to assist, the store's default solution was to back me into a corner and walk me up the ladder into an unexpected $600+ equipment overhaul. My original vision for a clean, stealthy interior went completely out the window. To make matters worse, Customer Service was an absolute dead end: Phone Call #1: I spent time explaining the entire situation, was never given a ticket/case number, and was completely ghosted. Phone Call #2: I finally reached a "Car Audio Specialist" whose grand solution was telling me to buy another amp and pay to take it back to the exact same bay, or drive out to a location in Westminster--at zero discount, simply offering to "make the appointment" for me. My time is valuable. Setting up installers for failure on complex integration jobs--and then expecting the customer to foot the bill for forced hardware upgrades and waste time traveling around Orange County for zero compensation--is appalling customer service. While the Pioneer unit functions fine, the experience left a terrible taste in my mouth and completely destroyed my trust in Best Buy Autotech's management. Save yourself the headache and take your vehicle to an independent, dedicated audio shop.

Once they get your money, customer service is out the window. They lost my trust after being hung up, cut off, and yelled on the phone. 1. Salesman are very pressuring and aggressive, telling you what they think is the best, not what's best suited for your needs. One of them even gave me his life story and I thought that was very irrelevant for my purpose in coming to the store. 2. Pricing is ridiculous, I only got a decent deal because I had a good referral from a friend, and I STILL felt ripped off walking out the store, only to find significantly lower prices on the internet and other stores. 3. Selection is mediocre. The owner pressured me to buy an amp and I didn't even know the name or the specifications! Basically, the business is not doing so well and they're passing on their personal problems and stress onto the customers. My father, a long time business owner, said the customer is always right, even if he/she is wrong. I am very disappointed, as I am the kind of person who will pay more to be treated as a human being with dignity, not a walking bank account coughing up cash. NEVER come here!
