Instead, after taking the time to follow up, I was given the exact same response with no additional options and no ability to escalate further. At that point, it didn't feel like escalation was designed to help it felt like a step put in place to save face rather than actually resolve the issue. Being directed to take extra steps just to arrive at the same outcome made the process feel unnecessary and frustrating. Customer service should focus on solutions, not just process and in this case, there was no real resolution. Because of this experience, I won't be purchasing from Best Buy again. We lost Thanksgiving and had to go out to eat for the first holiday ever. They didn't care. They ordered more parts. They were delayed. They rescheduled the appointment, and now we won't have a working oven for Christmas. They say they don't know exactly what is wrong with it, but they won't replace the oven. They tell me that I have to continue with this process. My wife is irate, and my friends are telling me to take them to small claims court for failing to stand by their product.
