I am SO grateful I found this little computer shop! My Samsung computer completely died and would…read morenot turn on at all. I use this computer for my work, my writing, and so many important files. Unfortunately I had never backed everything up onto a flash drive. Needless to say, I was freaking out! I found Human Computer because of all the great reviews, and now I completely understand why they have such a great reputation. John was so sweet, kind, knowledgeable, and immediately made me feel like my computer was in good hands. He was able to fix it, get me back up and running, and it only cost me around $85! He even told me that based on how well I've taken care of my computer, it could easily have another five years of life in it. I really appreciated that he wasn't trying to convince me that I needed a new computer or sell me something I didn't need. I also couldn't believe this little shop has been here in Riverside off Van Buren since 1996! There's something really special about finding a small local business that has been around that long and still treats people with genuine kindness. If you have a PC or Mac that needs repair, I absolutely recommend bringing it here. Great service, fair pricing, knowledgeable, and most importantly, someone you feel you can trust. thank you to joseph for saving my camera!…read more my canon powershot sd450 broke and couldn't toggle between camera/video/image display and i wasn't sure of what to do. thankfully i found joseph through yelp and im so grateful he was able to fix the camera since its an older model and hard to find nowadays. joseph is very knowledgeable and diligent in explaining his diagnosis to me. he showed me the broken parts and made sure i left knowing how to take better care of the camera :) my experience with him was awesome since he was able to fix my camera in less than a day, communication was great as he kept me updated through text/phone and even made sure i have a case for the camera now. overall, he took care of my camera and i felt very safe leaving it with him. highly recommend him, you'd be in very good hands!!

The only thing that initially made me hesitate was that it was a home-based business. I decided to keep looking around and even visited another highly rated repair shop in the area. Before I could even ask if they could repair my controller, they immediately recommended QCQ Repair. That told me everything I needed to know. From the moment I spoke with Jose, I could tell he genuinely knew what he was doing. With over 10 years of experience, his knowledge and professionalism stood out immediately. He took the time to listen to my concerns about my controller, understood how much sentimental value it had to me, and even understood how excited I was to play the upcoming Halo Remastered. What impressed me the most was his honesty. From the very beginning, he told me there was a possibility the controller couldn't be repaired because of how Microsoft designed the Elite Series 2. He didn't make promises he couldn't keep or give me false hope. Instead, he was upfront and transparent, and I respected that more than anything. I dropped my controller off on July 3rd, right before the holiday weekend, and he was still willing to take it in. A few days later, he contacted me with great news--he had successfully repaired it. Not only does my controller work perfectly again, but he also replaced the joystick with an upgraded component to help prevent the issue from happening again. The price was more than fair considering the complexity of the repair and the cost of replacing one of these controllers.
