Finally I asked my friends on FB if anyone knew a Computer guy they could recommend that was reliable, honest, and reasonable and knew what they were doing! The Computer God's answered me and a friend recommended Brian, from Net Medic! I called Brian, to get an estimate! Brian answered my message immediately! I got a good impression on him so I scheduled an appointment so he could come and tell me if they were worth fixing or just buy a new one or refurbish one! We had him come over to our home and he diagnosed my computer and made his recommendation. We went with what he suggested! I had my Lap top back in less than 24 hours! I can't tell you how extremely happy I am with this lap top! It runs so fast and doesn't stall or anything like it did before! He put in a new SSD hard drive and this baby just zips so smoothly now! I was terrified because I do not know anything about computers and I was afraid I would hit a button that would erase all my work. Hundreds of files. I called the net medic and immediately took it down to their office. He was able to save everything that was somewhere on the computer I guess and then do what he had to do to put it all back in and my computer is now up and running perfectly. I do however have to change or redo the passwords on all my accounts online but luckily I have them all written down. Both Brian and Sophia are lovely people and I was so pleased with what they did.

Mr. coppens is a very nice man…read more I picked Coppens because of the good reviews, only one negative review and he was willing to come to the house for a very reasonable fee. That cinched my decision! As soon as he arrived and tried to pry open the back of my computer, I suggested he take the screws out first. That should have been my first clue. But again, those great reviews.... He took out the power box and we ordered together, a new one. He took my computer home to finish the 'repair' when the new boxe arrived. When he received the new power box, he told me it worked for 5 seconds then the computer again turned off. My original problem was my computer just shut down. So he said it might be the motherboard which he doesn't do repairs on, AND he said 'to tell you the truth, I don't think it'd be worth it to put money into it to fix it." NOTE: My computer is a great computer, above the average home computer. It's 5 years old. I asked him to bring me back my computer with the 2 power boxes, the original one and the new one. He brought it back to me a few days later, no power box installed and only one of the screws to hold the back of the computer was there. :( Long story short, ha, I told him I would be getting a 2nd opinion. The next day I took it to another person and he fixed it within a couple of hours. He said, the place you plug in the power box, the pins were bent and the casing cracked with a small piece broken off. He was able to straighten the pins and get the new power box in and the computer works great! I can assure you, the pins were not bent when Mr. Coppens took my computer.

Saying it may not even be worth fixing because my laptop was old and out dated. I later took it to 99 PC repair and got my laptop back it's working great and I didn't need to buy extra parts and when I asked if I had an outdated laptop 99 PC confirmed it was only a year old laptop. I would not recommend this PC guy at all. Just be honest and say you can't fix it before wasting someone's time and money.

I made a call to Hugo, and he answered within the first couple of seconds. I explained to Hugo the issue we are having and was hoping he could come by today (on such short notice) and fix the issue. Thankfully, Hugo was able to stop by today and fix the issue! Hugo even showed us how to fix the issue if it were to happen again. Our phones are back up in running.
